Awful. My reservation was cancelled but wasn’t notified in advance.

I had to wait for about an hour to get the car as the line was extremely long and there were only two agents trying to deal with it all. When I got to one, he was efficient and it all went smoothly, but the wait was awful. The car itself was good and I liked it. Getting the car was easy and so was the return. But, why only have two overworked agents when there were so many reservations?

Worst rental ever. Huge line, 2 people working the desk waited and hour in line to get our keys. Never again Budget or Kyak. 👎👎

Price given by kayak didn’t reflect the price at the cash. Airport location is more expensive. I was charged $15 extra.

I wanted a little car and got a HUGE car which resulted in my father having trouble getting in and out of the vehicle.

The original rental I was given had a heavy smell of cigarettes and pot. It was like a wall hitting me when I opened the door and I did not even get in the car. The Budget employee at the desk was very helpful and prompt getting me a different car but this should not have happened to begin with.

Initial vehicle had a strong odor of smoke and burn marks. The alternate vehicle had a lot of pet hair throughout and not clean at allWhen I called to switch it out I was told to drive back to the airport which was 45 minutes to an hr away.

After I pre-paid and the booking was confirmed via text, I received a call from the counter at the budget location to let me know that they don’t have any cars. Fine, but the next frustration was they said they couldn’t cancel the reservation themselves and told me I had to call customer service and relay the fact that there were no cars. Why can’t the person at the counter cancel it themselves? When I called customer service I of course had to explain the whole situation and I ended the call feeling anxious. It’s frustrating that you are allowed to book a car online when they don’t actually have the inventory. It should not be this hard.
