The staff / crew were all superb. Though the car I was given had been smoked in / had a cigarette burn in the seat / had recently been deep cleaned to cover it up. So that was less than ideal but fine, especially since I booked the least expensive economy available. But again, all the staff was super nice. Overall is a good experience, I’d rent from them again.

My pickup was in portland and drop off was to be at LAX (in conjunction with my airline tix) but the reservation (priceline via KAYAK) didn’t reflect that, or the $375 drop off fee associated with it. Olivia at the Portland branch said “no problem!” and just waived the fee. And gave me a nice upgrade!

Reserved a Large SUV 2 months in advance; called to confirm reservation 2 days before pick-up and was told we were all set. Received phone call from Enterprise at 8:29 am day of pick-up (3 1/2 hours before pick-up to return call); attempted to call but only got voicemail all morning. Arrived at location to pick-up the SUV at scheduled pick-up time (12 pm) and was told they had no vehicle or no alternative vehicle. I waited 30 minutes at location while they called and attempted to find other options -- could not come up with any options. I left at 12:35 pm; called Avis/Budget in the car (nearby location) and they had 1 large SUV and matched the price from Enterprise. Problem solved. Have rented from Enterprise dozens of time for business and personal use and this was only time they failed to deliver. Was disappointing.

I did not keep my car reservation with Hertz in Beaverton. When I arrived to pick up my mid-size car, they attempted to provide me an "economy" car- if you can call a Chevy Spark an economy car. When I showed them my reservation email they said that, since I booked through a third-party, that their vehicle "categories" don't always align. Customer service was terrible- they refused to provide me the size vehicle that I reserved and I canceled my reservation. 100% do not recommend.

Everyone was friendly and helpful! Not being changed for rental vehicle until I the day of take it off the lot! As I received a $111.00 credit but was charged the full amount prior. Hoping to see if I get the credit.

Cons:

Very small lot and most parking spots near the terminal read: "NO RENTAL CARS!". I ended up parking in the Hertz employee lot !

Pros:

Windshield and front of van covered with bugs. No walk around of 1st van not done. Right side inaccessible as parked, so I pulled back, parked and walked around and found dent in door. Called office and were unaware. Documented and told that they probably would have blamed me, had I not said anything. Driving van and unable to secure back latch on door, returned and exchanged for second van. 102 degrees and a/c barely works. Makes it tolerable but not functioning like first van

Roomy, good price.
