Pros:

Nothing- enterprise was a nightmare. I had to end up canceling and going to Hertz next day and they were amazing

Cons:

They did not have the car in stock that I reserved so they sent me to another location the second location also did not have the car in stock but the person offered to give me a pick up truck for an additional 150 more. For the size I reserved I was expecting something larger than I received. I reserved a standard suv. I was expecting something the size of a Ford Edge as was described online. Upon arrival I was given a Jeep Compass. Which the newer model is larger than past models but it is still far from a Ford Edge or something of similar size. It may also fall on me for not saying something in the moment but we were in a bit of a hurry to get on the road. This is more of an issue with enterprise and not kayak though.

Car was dirty the attendant was by himself he did a great job——had to drive 30 miles to pick it up because of staffing issues drop off 6 miles for my house that was better

They had 5 cars for 20 people. They had no car to give me and suggested I either sit, wait and hope one comes back, or go to the airport and later found out I needed to pay $200 in deposits. They ALSO didn’t have the vehicle.

Pickup time was Sunday at 12 noon. Arrived 12:02. Guy said we closed at 12 and wouldn’t give me rental. Customer service sent me to another location guaranteeing vehicle. Drove to this location to find no rental to meet 7 passengers. Drive to inconvenient third Budget location and had to pay more. Needless to say, extremely late to destination because lazy worker at first location would not give me the keys. He was very rude as well. Pathetic customer service. I will never rent from Budget/Avis again.

Morning staff was terrible. The lady for the afternoon was very nice but the guy that was there in the early morning was not good. He mumbled, acted like I had inconvenienced him. I will not go back to that location.

Budget called me at 10:30am (1.5 hrs before pick up) and let me know they didn’t think they’d have the kind of van I needed, that I reserved. I had to call 2 more times for updates , they didn’t call me. And I gave up. I never received a cancellation or a call to let me know they weren’t able to provide my reservation.

I got a cancellation notice the day before. I called them to see if I could get a different truck, and the call center rep said it was confirmed to pick up and not canceled. When I showed up, they said it was in fact canceled and I couldn’t get the truck. Nearly derailed vacation plans.

When I picked up it had 1/4 of gas in it. I dropped it off with the same amount and they charged me extra. I haven’t had time to call them about it but I’m furious.
