I am still not sure why when I rented the car for less than 24 hours I was charged twice for insurance. Also, I do not understand the 338.00 fee that popped up after I picked up my car from Hertz when I was expecting to see 137.00.

The pick up and drop-off was very smooth. The car was clean, etc. However the car an Infinity QX60 (SUV) (Lic. Plate # 11B LEL - Florida) needed servicing desperately - brake work, alignment, and shocks/suspension needed to be fixed. When one takes a care from a rental agency, especially a reputed one like Hertz he/she expects the care to be in good working order. We had driven to Philadelphia from MD w/ family and it is a scary experience when the car is not in good shape. I urge Hertz to ensure that their cars are maintained and serviced on time and a full check is done when cars are returned - not just a physical check but a driving run is done to determine that all is in good working condition - especially as it concerns safety!

They didn't properly checked me in and checked me out then they told me i had the car for another 11 days after I returned it. They are very difficult to resolve the issue. Plus there is a big communication gap between the corporate and local office. I will never rent from Hertz!

Absolutely nothing very disappointed that a day before I was called that they did not have the car I had requested weeks before and that I would need to go to the airport to pick it up. I went to the airport to wait a whole day to not even get the car I requested and get a smaller car and it wasn’t even clean. Horrible horrible service!! Having us wait a whole day for a car. You all should just say you don’t have the car instead of having us wait to see if someone will drop off the car we have requested. Also the fact the the golden members got the big suv I requested weeks prior and then telling me that don’t have any big suv!! Honestly will never rent from you all again I am a paying customer and we should all be treated the same !!

Two days before pickup, I got a text saying my vehicle was out of stock for the rest of the year. No alternative, no explanation, no response. Scrambled for another rental, and had to look past the same unavailable rental as it kept showing as available on kayak and hertz. A new profit center based on cancellation fees? Who knows.

At the beginning everything was perfect: I choose what I wanted, was available, location close to me, rental price more then satisfying. So I made the reservation, and was confirmed! Couple hours later reservation was denied- nothing available until the end of the year!!!? And they not responded at all, as they said when I had confirmation of the the cancelation!!! Still waiting for the money to go back in my account! Extremely disappointed!!!

The staff was exceptionally helpful. They were low on cars and initially going to "upgrade" me to a crossover, but when I stressed the fuel economy they turned around a car in minutes that had been returned since I showed up. And then, when I returned after 6 pm (but before the staff left), they accepted the vehicle without question. I also really appreciated that by paying in advance (not sure if a regular Hertz thing or just a limited thing) I was able to save a significant amount over other local competitors that I've used previously. Even with the more limited hours of this small shop, I would definitely consider using this Hertz location again.

Morning staff was friendly.No receipt given. Contacted the general customer number who said they would email it 5-10 minutes. It never arrived. They never did. NO RECEIPT. Not the day of. Not the day after. N
