Pickup was efficient and friendly. They had plenty of cars even though I was late and extended my reservation on the other end at no additional cost as a courtesy. Car was clean and in good condition.

Dealer unavailable at the last minuteWe had a very inconvenient time. we rented to the car in advance and we got a phone call half an hour prior from picking it up stating that they did not have the car available for us. The only car available was an hour away and $100 more per day than the selected one. We had to search for other vehicle at the last minute, delayed our plans and end up paying more for everything
I am still not sure why when I rented the car for less than 24 hours I was charged twice for insurance. Also, I do not understand the 338.00 fee that popped up after I picked up my car from Hertz when I was expecting to see 137.00.

The pick up and drop-off was very smooth. The car was clean, etc. However the car an Infinity QX60 (SUV) (Lic. Plate # 11B LEL - Florida) needed servicing desperately - brake work, alignment, and shocks/suspension needed to be fixed. When one takes a care from a rental agency, especially a reputed one like Hertz he/she expects the care to be in good working order. We had driven to Philadelphia from MD w/ family and it is a scary experience when the car is not in good shape. I urge Hertz to ensure that their cars are maintained and serviced on time and a full check is done when cars are returned - not just a physical check but a driving run is done to determine that all is in good working condition - especially as it concerns safety!

They didn't properly checked me in and checked me out then they told me i had the car for another 11 days after I returned it. They are very difficult to resolve the issue. Plus there is a big communication gap between the corporate and local office. I will never rent from Hertz!

Absolutely nothing very disappointed that a day before I was called that they did not have the car I had requested weeks before and that I would need to go to the airport to pick it up. I went to the airport to wait a whole day to not even get the car I requested and get a smaller car and it wasn’t even clean. Horrible horrible service!! Having us wait a whole day for a car. You all should just say you don’t have the car instead of having us wait to see if someone will drop off the car we have requested. Also the fact the the golden members got the big suv I requested weeks prior and then telling me that don’t have any big suv!! Honestly will never rent from you all again I am a paying customer and we should all be treated the same !!

Two days before pickup, I got a text saying my vehicle was out of stock for the rest of the year. No alternative, no explanation, no response. Scrambled for another rental, and had to look past the same unavailable rental as it kept showing as available on kayak and hertz. A new profit center based on cancellation fees? Who knows.

At the beginning everything was perfect: I choose what I wanted, was available, location close to me, rental price more then satisfying. So I made the reservation, and was confirmed! Couple hours later reservation was denied- nothing available until the end of the year!!!? And they not responded at all, as they said when I had confirmation of the the cancelation!!! Still waiting for the money to go back in my account! Extremely disappointed!!!

The staff was exceptionally helpful. They were low on cars and initially going to "upgrade" me to a crossover, but when I stressed the fuel economy they turned around a car in minutes that had been returned since I showed up. And then, when I returned after 6 pm (but before the staff left), they accepted the vehicle without question. I also really appreciated that by paying in advance (not sure if a regular Hertz thing or just a limited thing) I was able to save a significant amount over other local competitors that I've used previously. Even with the more limited hours of this small shop, I would definitely consider using this Hertz location again.

I did not like anything at allThey did not have any cars on the day of our reservation even though we booked our car in advance. The whole point of reservations is to book a car and time slot. They should not do over bookings and inform us in the case of car unavailability so that we can arrange our plans accordingly.

Staff were friendly.Pick-up took an hour. Company is definitely a pandemic profiteer in several respects, one example being their toll policy. Many toll booths only accept E-Z Pass and not cash so the license plate is charged, Enterprise will charge the customer additional fees in addition to the customer paying the toll. I explained were I was going to staff (inter-state) and received no mention of this. I also informed them that I did not own a car and have not driven since the pandemic started. I should have been updated on current procedures concerning tolls. Enterprise is definitely not be my first choice in the future.

Staff not helpful. Booked a cargo van and talked to rep one day before rental confirming pick up time, etc. When we got there - we were told that the van was in for an oil change. Took us 2 hours and driving to another rental location to get the van. Also two discussions with customer svc.Everything! Not what I expected from Enterprise

Really on the ballWe reserved a car for a busy holiday weekend. Enterprise was awesome. They called us two days before to confirm and start check-in, and they advised us to show up super early to avoid any lines (which we did). During our trip, the car got dinged in a parking lot. Enterprise didn't charge us anything and helped us file a claim with our insurance company. Really great customer service all the way through. Plus the car was beautiful and clean.

Pretty decent experience overall. No problem getting my vehicle nor dropping it off.The vehicle came with an issue that I was unaware of until about 10 hours into my trip. The tail light was not working, but you know, I didn't get pulled over, and when I told them of the issue, they said even if I got a ticket they would've taken care of it. So I guess it's still pretty good.

Staff friendly.The car was not clean when I picked up. I saw visible fingerprints on GPS screen, crumbs in the cup holder, and stains on both front seats. About 45 min into my 4 hour drive back to NY, the “!” Icon began to flash indicating the back right tire was low on air. I don’t typically drive so had no idea how to put air in tires or how much. Called Roadside assistance and was on hold forever. Luckily a cop pulled up at the gas station and was able to help me. These things should be checked before customers drive off w the cars. During COVID pandemic I feel that cleanliness should be a priority!

DifficultNothing.First, the office was difficult to locate since it is in a shopping plaza not right on the road as it had been explained. When I returned the car after waiting for the agent to finish his phone call and acknowledge that I was there, the man at the counter was extremely rude. When I questioned the gas prepay refund I was instructed to take it up with the company. That he doesn’t represent the company and that it was expressed in the contract I had read and signed. At which point upon further questioning he provided said pamphlet. I was instructed that I should have read the fine print- and was again told to take it up with the company. Needless to say if I ever rent with Avis again I will be much more explicit in my requests since they obviously conveniently leave things out.

CrooksNothingI went to the dealership and asked how much it would be, including insurance. The man ran my card, checked me in and then told me how much it was. He claimed that he couldn't see the total until after my card was charged. I made him cancel the rental and I went elsewhere. Disgusting.
