Cons: We ended up canceling once we went to pick up the car in Foley. We had problems renting because the credit card we were using was my mother in laws but I would be driving. They said the names had to match. The employees were making fun of the manager in front of us. Overall the entire establishment was unprofessional and I will never rent a car again from hertz.

Cons: Office was essentially a large vacant room with one desk. Attendant at the desk didn't checked the vehicle when I returned it, which made me question if I would be seeing additional charges on my ccard. Attendant just got up from the desk to take the keys and said that was all that was needed.

Pros: At first I was a bit unhappy that I was getting set up with a Mazda 3.. however, after the first half hour or so, I was actually very pleased! This thing was very smooth, sporty looking and amazing on gas. The features in the cabin were a very nice bonus.
The guy that pulled the car around for me and wrapped my paperwork up was professional and friendly.
Cons: Car pick up was at 12 but, I guess due to the volume of customers, I didn't get the car until closer to 12:30. Not really all that bad.

No Cruise Control
Pros: I liked the people that helped me at the rental facility
Cons: I did not like the absurd taxes at the airport which amounted to 47% taxes and fees for the price of the rental. I did not like the fact that the vehicle I rented did not have cruise control when I put on a little over 2000 miles on the vehicle all without the use of cruise control. I also felt the vehicle was very uncomfortable.

Horrible customer service
Pros: Car was clea
Cons: Fraudulent company that just wants to steal your money. Customer service did not work work with us to help us out. Our car was in the wrong location and we didn't have money to go get it, and they did not help us out to get there. We felt like they were very dishonest and a rude company.

Pros: One of the smoothest car rental experiences I've had. I usually rent cars by the Mobile airport, but this Hertz gave me a far better deal this time so I went to the one in the Renaissance hotel. George (I'm pretty sure that's his name) was very courteous and professional. Some car rental employees can be annoyingly pushy or rude, but George was very respectful and answered all of my questions - I knew exactly what I was getting into. The car met all my expectations, and there were no hidden fees or bogus charges.
