Easy pick up and drop off. The car swap was pretty smooth.Flat tire half way through the trip. No damage to the tire it just went flat somehow so that added about 3 hours to the trip. Road side assistance took two hours to get to us when it was estimated to be a little less than an hour (he changed it very quickly though and was very nice).

They cancelled my reservation 8 hours before I needed the car which put me in a bind. Then I had to make a reservation with another company and pay double the price. They would not reimburse me or give me any sort of reparation.

Customer service rep you walk the customer to the car or employee to help with the bags and the same teach someone how to work the new technology of the vehicle you get... since is going to be yours for fee hrs or days..... and do together a full inspection of the vehicle....

The customer service staff were incredibly friendly and nice. Cannot commend them enough.The car had an overwhelming smokers smell. It was intense. Especially in the heat. It was horrible. Also the car's touch screen (which basically controls everything) didn't work well. It routinely would freeze and we'd have to restart the car to get it to work again.

The pick up and drop off were very easy. The car they gave me was okay, not very comfortable but good gas mileage. My drop off went great, they had an assistant to help park so I could just go to my flight at the airport.The initial online cost estimate was misleading. My first estimate was ~70$ for one day and another 10$ for the insurance. But because I'm 24 and not 25 I was charged 130$. Which is alot higher than I expected. Being more upfront about the online estimates regarding not meeting whatever arbitrary age requirement you want to use would be appreciated.

your staff was friendly and made it easy to do business with your company,This was a one way rental I would have liked to have dropped it off at a location closer to the town I live in instead of at the airport. Other than that I thought that the experience was very good.
Check in / out was quick. Car had a full tank of gas,counter people were great

I was not told that I could not pay for the rental on a debit card. This rental was to pick up my children in Atlanta. Dollar refused to allow the transaction to go through forcing me to rent at the last second from another vendor at a much higher price.

Nothing. They gave away our car. Staff was rude at Mobile Airport and basically just said, "We don't have any cars." No offer to help fix this, despite the fact that they didn't hold our reservation.1. They could have held our reservation--we did nothing to deserve them not having a car for us. 2. They could have offered to help find another car someplace else after they gave our reservation away. 3. They could have at least act like they cared that they screwed us.

All of the staff that I interacted with were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating.Drop off was a little bit confusing because there didn’t seem to be a dedicated spot for returns. There were two aisles where you could park the car instead and staff would come meet you where you parked.

The team was kind and quickly went through rental procedure.It is very hard to find those who are in parking lot for returning vehicle, or any dents or scratches prior to leaving. A large return sign check point and perhaps a single point outside for scratch and dent concerns would be very helpful. Guys in a badly parked truck looked like other customers.

Drop off process not intuitiveCurbside drop was convenient. Inside agent was friendly.I dropped the car off a small regional airport, so the ability to drive to the terminal and drop off 100ft from the entrance was convenient. The signage got me close. The rep who was outside directing customers where to park, etc. wasn't very helpful. A bit snarky and felt like I was being "talked down to."

Fast, great xar, great priceChech out took 5 minutes, forgot to fill out the form. Brought it back a week later with a full tank, perfunctory check on the vehicle took 3 or 4 minutes and I was on my way with receipt.Couldn't figure out where the gas cap filler cap release was was? Odd for the vehicle? But all my other kias have had the gas release in the same place ...

How to dropoffProcedure to dropoff required asking a Hertz parking lot staff member for guidance. Simple enough to park and log info to deliver inside, but was unfamiliar when compared with larger airport facilities.
Gas tank was not full. There were sticky tape marks on outside of car doors. Otherwise, I was satisfied. The attendant at desk in Mobile alabama was very helpful and professional.

Staff was courteous and quick to facilitate the rental. Pick-up and drop-off were very easy.Avis claims to "feature a 100% smoke-free fleet" but they seem to have missed at least one vehicle. The smoke odor was terrible in our rental and made any car trip over our vacation week rather unpleasant.
What could have been better? They could have actually had the car available.

Got a Chrysler mini van. Have used them 3x now andPricewish I could have dropped at local agency without incurring a massive upcharge. Had to take it to the airport as it was a several hundred dollar difference even though it was only approx 15 miles away.
Rental Associate wasn't very friendly, or helpful when picking up car. The car also did not have floor mats and it had a dent on the left front fender.

Absolutely nothingThis booking site and their actual inventory are totally inaccurate. Booked 4 separate times and vehicle was never available even after speaking with an agent all those times. Ended up using a dealership to rent something. Don’t depend on this service!

Staff was friendly but not able to provide clear answers. Drop off was easy.Clearer instructions prior to pickup when rental has been paid in full via deal through travel website such as Kayak. No mention of credit card being needed for deposit nor explanation of what the deposit is for.

A much better tripEasy booking. Easy check-in and easy drop-off. We had a Nissan Quest that was clean and trouble free. Plenty of room for everyone and our luggage.No complaints with Hertz. The vehicle shifter could use a relocation.

Quick & EasyI rented at the Mobile, AL airport which is tiny so pick up and drop off was super easy and fast. Charge was about what was estimated via kayak, just $15 more. No issues with the car!

quoted price was not honoredThe kayak.com reservation showed the detailed price i would be paying including the added fees and taxes. when i got to the hertz counter, the attendant took the total including the taxes and fees and added another $30 for airport taxes and fees on top of the quoted price. Bottom line, it cost more than i was quoted. even though i showed him proof on paper of my quote, he refused to honor it.

Make sure your clients know where cars can be droppedI liked the car and the price. The ease of ordering was nice too.We had one heck of a time trying to get this car dropped off. There wasn't a Thrifty in Destin Florida that was open and we were told on the phone by customer service that we could not drop off at a Dollar or Hertz only to find out that the Dollar location could easily accept a Thrifty rental. It is a great benefit for clients to be able to drop off at many locations if needed. This should be conveyed to the customer.
