HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
Cons: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE...CHOOSE ANY PLACE BUT HERE!!!!!!!!! Dropped off by shuttle from Hartford Bradley airport. 12 people in line in front of me, was told most have been waiting over an hour. Cars were available, two employees working the counter but utter and complete incompetency caused me to wait on line for over 85 minutes for a car. Just this year I have rented cars 8 other times so I think I know how these things should go. There were cars available the delay was 100% from having just a horrible grossly incompetent staff.
When a third person tried to help one of the two women working the counter yelled at him that "they had a system'. That same woman, instead of apologizing to customers about the wait was complaining to them about how hard she had it!!!! When another employee finally stepped in to help he did not assist the next person in line angering the poor guy who was next. Another guy asked for a full sized car, he went out to pick up the car they assigned to him and it was a tiny Kia. He came back in and they made him wait an additional 20 minutes to redo his paperwork for a correct sized car.
When I finally did get my car, I was told they were 'pre inspected' so they would not give me a form to write down any scratches and dings on the car at the time of rental. Nor did anyone even offer to do a walk around with the car... they just handed me the key and told me what spot it was in. The car was covered in marks so I wrote them down on the back of my contract and had to interrupt a woman to sign the paper.
In case you think I am making any of this up or exaggerating, I have photos of the line and the clock on wall the time I got there and the time I left. No 'deal' is worth this horrible service.
