Friendliest staff on earth. Well designed floorplan, well decorated, excellent security, week day braeakfast to die for. Weekend breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. 'Kids Free' has attracts sports competition-minded families with money to invade each weekend, causing running the halls all night, shouting, forget pool and hot tub, unruly and unsupervised while mom and dad booze it up in the breakfast room leaving the pre-teens to disturb everyone. Many people complained.
one night stay ...it was ok They did not have a restaurant on the premises and the breakfast was so busy you could hardly get near the food ,we ended up leaving and going out to breakfast..
Nice clean room...great breakfast!
excellent service with excellent staff at an excellent location for our destination. none
Very nice and clean room and facilities. Desk associate very rude. This is a terrible way to treat guests. And your company cannot expect to have customers return when the desk associate behaves with such an awful attitude toward the customers.
Everything except my wife getting locked in the room when the door lock failed!!!!!!! The Door lock that Failed, trapping my wife in the room. I am a mechanical engineer, and had all the Hotel staff trying to figure out how to get my wife out of our room, they had no way to get her out. they called the manager or whoever, and I, with their permission broke down the door of the room to get her out!!!!!!, The staff was helpful but had no idea how to get her out. I let them know how to break down the door, with minimum damage. Thank god there wasn't a fire or other emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In town for 35th reunion at EHS. Very convenient location, with supporting restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was spacious and clean. Nice breakfast selection as well. Priced fairly high, although it seems that most in the area were a bit higher than expected.
The room was ready when we got there, and the morning staff was very professional. Sticky bathroom floor, lack of non smoking rooms, evening staff were not accommodating.
Price and value Boring staff
The property was OK. The people were fantastic, some of the best attitudes I have ever encountered at a hotel. The room was shabby, the bathroom was tiny and awkward, there was dirt and grime in places it shouldn't have been, the drain on the tub wouldn't stay open and there was mold in the shower and other areas of the bathroom. Overall it was "OK" at best. The staff and their attitudes were definitely the highlight of the stay.
Very helpful staff. Rooms are big and clean. Very convenient location - just off the interstate with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel was good but some guests were noisy (Six Flags employees?) - talking outside and knocking on each others' doors into the night.
The location was very convenient for an appointment I had in the area that weekend.
Very close to six flags and many fast food restaurants it was small but clean no frills but good value
The hotel was room was dirty, sheets had stains and so did the pillow cases. Curtains in bathroom were moldy. I booked a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. Had to buy air freshner to remove smoke scent in room. Management did not accomodate us. Would not return!
When I booked was told no ground floor room. When I got there I rec'd the same answer but I told them I would like to bring my dog's crate inside. I was given ground floor room. thank you. The clients were a little noisy as I went in my room, but the room was well insulated against the noise.
The close distance to Six Flags in New England. CLose distance to the highway. The breakfast was superb but little expensive. The parking was very close to the hotel room.
good for stop over for local visit or pass thru
price the room was small - not enough table room
The amenities provided were excellent for me and my family. Keep it up.
Location was good. All necessities, restaurants, pharmacies, even auto parts were within one mile. Staff charged $163.00 when quoted price was $148 with tax. Told that room was smoking and an ashtray was provided. When checking out staff had a fit because they then said room was "non-smoking". Housekeeping tried to barge into room 3 times when told to wait because I wasn't dressed. Trip was fine, but the staff there need to learn to speak English.
Motel has easy accessibility to highways and was pet friendly. Does charge a pet fee, it was waived because I mentioned this but I do not pay pet fees at otehr motels
no much Never been to ANY hotel where I could not get shampoo or toothpaste. Couldn't even buy it! Never again.
The price was sufficient for what I needed. The room was only marginally clean, which made me feel uncomfortable using the shower and sleeping under the blankets. Both appeared slightly "used".
I was happy the room didn't have any bad smells. Seemed pretty clean. Cracker Barrel was just down the road. Price was right. Outside the sliding glass doors to the room there was a huge amount of cigarette butts all over the ground. Gross. Breakfast was not very impressive, coffee was awful.
Location is convenient to I91. Rooms are decent size for the price. Free breakfast is tolerable. Never close parking due to their shuttle and employees/owners using front spots. Halls are gross and always noisy. Stuff missing from room after cleaning, even with the do not disturb flag on.
Friendly staff, rooms decent Tv kept going off and on.,
Every time I stay there. There's a problem Was told they would save my room for the next day they took all my stuff out of the room and threw away 30 dollars worth of food. Disgusted
The hotel was a great place to stay for the price. We found the room clean and spacious with everything one would need. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair drier, flatscreen TV and a comfy bed. The location was ok.It was right off of the highway. We didn't dislike anything. This hotel was a good yet affordable place to stay.
This two star hotel was a good value for the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and location great. I slept through the breakfast so I can not speak to it and my only disappointment was a cigarette burn in the blanket. The furniture is a little dated.
Everyrhing...was clean and nice!! No
Staff was friendly, responsive and accommodating. Location was great for day trips while visiting family. Will look forward to staying when the outside pool is open. Grounds keeping around the hotel would have improved the overall impression of the facility. Lot of cigarette butts discarded around the lower level rooms that abutted the pool -- yuck.
Location cannot be beat. Hotel is older, but the rooms are okay for the price. Free breakfast is tolerable. Do not Disturb hangers mean nothing, housekeeping comes in anyway. Took personal items-towels, cash and jewelry. Mgmt did nothing and barely speaks English. AVOID!
Everything was great no issues Everything was great no issues
The proximity to BDL was great. The continental breakfast was as expected. Housekeeping didn't make the bed. The bathroom was gross, and no one was at the front desk in the middle of the night. The lady that helped us at check out was super nice, but said the owners of the hotel are foreigners that don't understand USA norms.
There was used soap and shampoo in our shower which tells me it was not cleaned and there was a cockroach in the sink
Clean fresh smelling room with comfortable bed Hall way carpet needs changing
The staff was courteous, the rooms were very clean, and the location was central to a variety of attractions. It's suited my needs and my budget extremely well. The room had a bad smell upon entering, so we were forced to use body spray to freshen it up until we could get room deodorizer from the housekeeping staff. Also, the pillows were small and hard, so I would recommend bringing your own if possible. Other than that, I had absolutely no complaints about the room, the staff, or the amenities.
Just the location The appearance, the entrance to the hotel didn't lock. The hotel is renovating so 65% of the room were left open and dark. I will not be going back to this hotel.
DAYS INN IS A VERY NICE HOTELS AND I WILL GO BACK. NICE HOTELS.
The staff was so attentive and eager to please but not overbearing. They treating us with such respect and help me out when I needed it. Also saw them doing the same for all the other guests. I liked everything
Because we booked on "Bookaroom" we got charged $60.00 more. Call them directly - don't use kayak or an online
Clean, great atmosphere, and convenient amenities. Fairly quiet considering it is near the airport. Ice machine on our floor was out of order as well as one of the elevators. Shower door in our room did not seal shut all the way, resulting in water all over bathroom floor. The woman at the front desk told us to use our towel to dry it up and had new dry towels brought to us.
The hotel was well located for our purposes. We were attending a wedding in the area. The hotel was not very clean. The bathrooms were dirty and there were not enough pillows for our family. We asked for more, but the front desk told us that there weren't any more available. There was a basic breakfast provided, but it was taken down earlier than indicated by the desk.
Smelled mold in the room not clean left after 10 minuets voided my reservation
Clean but light on toiletries. I did really enjoy the relaxing screensaver on the TV after a long trip. Great deal for someone just looking for a place to stay, get up and go. Seems popular with flight crews. I also liked that the hot water for tea has a separate source and is untainted by coffee. That is a rarity in the hotel breakfast bars. In fact, given a choice of hotels for another night, I came back. I hate it when the tea water tastes like coffee.
Good location, staff was friendly and helpful Room was dated. Sink had cracks, floor tiles terribly worn. Breakfast normally is decent in LaQuintas, but today waffle batter had a sour taste
Convenient shuttle to and from the airport. There were stains on the bedding. And a hotel employee was banging on my door at 6:30am and before I could even get up she used her key and started letting herself in! Luckily the latch was on and she couldn't open the door, and she finally yelled 'oops, wrong room. Sorry.' It was awful.
Great value. location
A good balance breakfast. Punctual shuttle to airport. Comfortable bed.Good shower water pressure. Booked a non smoking room, and got a non smoking room on a smoking floor. Assured by desk clerk that the room would not have a smoke smell. Wrong. A non-smoking room on a floor of smoking rooms and hallway is going to smell like tabacco smoke. While the offer was for a non-smoking room, I had no choice but to accept the reservation. However, I find it a bit deceiving not to fully explain/disclosed that a non-smoking room is on smoking floor until upon arrival. Due to this experience, I will not recommend La Quita.
Clean and comfortable
Hotel efficiently set up for the traveler. Older but well maintained. (have stayed at several other hotels in the area-- of comparable price but not of equal quality) Liked that there was an actual wall thermostat to control heat/cool, the remote had a guide button, their computer had shortcuts to easily print out boarding passes, it was clean behind the bed/ bedside tables!, ..... Re breakfast: wish the hotels would use paper plates/cups and have more wholesome wholegrain breakfast items.
If you need to stay close to the Hartford-Bradley airport this is the place to stay. They have a goof breakfast and free transportation to and from the airport including the rental car facilities. Great value. Nothing.
The staff was extremely friendly, and very efficient. The bed in my room was a little "saggy".
Good place to sit down relax and wait for your flight and stay in the hotel and grab a bite to eat was perfect for my situation waiting for my flight.
The gym (free headphones provided). The location was close to the highway. Outdated hotel. Stayed at a Double tree in Binghamton NY 2 weeks before, and for spoiled by the ultra-modern facilities there..this hotel needs serious updating.
No hot tub AC didn't work Key cards didn't want to work about 50% of the time
Representative at the front desk was professional and polite. The fire alarm was set as a result of some inconsiderate person or persons smoking cigarettes in the hallway. Everyone had to evacuate the building while wfd investigated. The hotel management did not offer patrons any discounts as a result of this interruption. I do not know whether or not I would stay at this hotel again.
Free continental breakfast would have been great. And the pool should have been open after we got back from the fair. I would have slept better.
They claimed that they had not received the reservation information from Bookings.com. After a phone call to Bookings.com, they finally gave me a handicapped room as that was the only room available. The price of the room was exhorbitant for the level of quality.
Very clean and comfortable I had to catch an early shuttle (5:30am) to airport and complimentary breakfast was not set up yet
The quality of the room for the price
Big comfortable beds, clean rooms, wonderful staff, great rates
This hotel has 24 hour shuttle (free) to and from the airport. It is basic, cheap lodging with average ambiance for what it is. The desk staff is very welcoming. If you don't have a car you need to know not much is in the vicinity - McDonalds was about it.
It was very comfortable. Clean, homey. Close to the entrance and breakfast room. Staff were charming. The fast track picked me up within minutes and took me to the convenient restaurant.
We were thankful to have a complimentary breakfast each morning, and coffee available at all times.
Proximity to Bradley Airport; its price; the free shuttle to and from airport; ability to leave my car for four days at $6. a day. Nothing disturbed me. The staff was courteous and helpful. The facility is not especially attractive but it is a bargain.
close to airport, easy to get to on shuttle bed was too soft. you sank into it and had trouble moving and rolling over
24-hour airport shuttle bus service breakfast
Close to Bradley Airport and convenient affordable parking.
The hotel was a moderized hotel that had a comfortable at home feeling. I traveled as a single woman with heavy luggage. They worked to get me a first floor room (there is no elevator). Airport pickup was very efficient (I left at 5:00 a.m.) The heating system in the room was faulty. It took 4 hours to be warm.
Location. Close to interstate Dirty bathtubs, dirty windows, doors outside didn't work, wifi didn't work not lights at the end of parking lot.
Close to the airport. The hotel was in very poor shape. Pealing paint in the room and broken window. The staff was not friendly and the breakfast was very poor and unattended. Most items were not stocked and Inwitnessed many guests digging through cupboards to find items.
Location Beds are awful Toilet ran all night Bathroom fan sounded like a Boeing 747 Carpet was matted and nasty Breakfast was awful Secure doors (exterior) were not secure Staff was very nice!
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Second stay at this property, satisfied as before. Room could use a little touch up or renovation but was clean and everything functional. Definitely a good value and location.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Very nice and clean place. Has an indoor pool which is quite recommendable for the season. No complaints at all
20 minutes away from equine affair. Cleaning staff very loud in early morning wanting to come clean room while still sleeping. Checkout is 11:00. U that is usually when the room cleaning starts at hotels I have been in the past. Also checkout was unable to get hard copy of receipt.
Good value for the proce Staff was not very engaging. Has a damp smell to the rooms.
Big room plenty of parking. We stayed 2 days room was far from the frontnone available. Yet the parking lot was empty. We called wakeup call phone didn't work so we ha to walk abut 3 city blocks to front desk. Breakfast was disgusting eggs ext salty. Coffee want readybagels lik a roc
Convenient, comfortable, clean No
easy to get to. Woman at front desk very helpful room inviting, and clean.
Unable to use the comfort card.
The proximity to where I needed to be that weekend. The staff is great, very friendly and the rates are VERY reasonable! They don't tell you where the room darkening shades are. They are BEHIND the sheers, but you don't look for them there LOL.
Proximity to Bradley airport, easy access from the highway. Furnishings are dated, hotel is in need of a sprucing up.
clean and that wheelchair accessible room was truly wheelchair accessible ... wide doors ... plenty of room in room and bathroom nothing
The front desk staff was awesome!!! So kind and accomidating. The location was great for what we needed. The room was gross. I'm aware of how little I paid, wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Only needed a place to sleep and shower before an event a few miles away. Sheets were wrinkled and musty.Saw pile of dried puke on rug while packing. Won't be back.
The staff was very friendly, both the night shift and the morning shift.
location to where I was working for the week. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I learned that they had just converted the entire floor from smoking to non-smoking rooms only a few months ago and the smell was still there!!!
Staff was great. Bad treadmills.
convenient location desk personnel, room poorly furnished
Desk Clerk extremely friendly . Room was spotless and entire hotel was immaculate.. Would definitely stay in this hotel on my next trip to CT No
Quiet, comfortable, friendly staff, access to local shops and convenient location. Breakfast choices were acceptable but not as fresh as I'd like. The person taking care of the breakfast area spoke only Spanish so when I asked her for help, she was unable to respond.
The only thing i liked was the quiteness of the place., Yes there was no TV service during my 2 and half stay
Hotel staff was very helpful. No ground floor rooms were available & had to bring our bags up stairs to our room. Wish I had known. Not the end of the world, just a little inconvenient.
I liked the way I was treated by the staff at the hotel: Friendly and ready to serve. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It was a bit hard to find. Directions were not the fault of the hotel or your web site
Awful.... Unfortunately, it seems that the Bradley hotel has experienced difficulties, and the morning I left (Aug. 27) it was closing until further notice. At least I had a hot shower, but no breakfast as advertised.
This hotel was scary, deserted and very dirty. I was scared to stay there and almost left when I saw the condition. Definitely a one star hotel not a three star.
I chose this facility because the web site indicated a Resteaurand and Lounge. Neither was in operation.
it was inexpensive and clean
This was a old Ramada inn. The rooms were huge. Bed was comfortable. Shower was moldy, chair in room was covered in fllth, not many outlets, some make overs but elevator didn't work. Lack of attention to details in that wooden kick boards were all scuffed but had new paint/wallpaper. Looked shabby. . "Cont. breakfast" was coffee and a small wrapped pastry. They cleaned the shower some after I complained but did nothing w/ filthy gross chair. Outside was weedy.
