Ryan from the Hertz office called me (I have his voicemail) a day before I was supposed to pick up the car, 10 minuets before the the office was closed, and told me that the car I reserved months ago was not available. After waiting to speak with a Hertz representative and a manger for an hour, I was told that there was no car available for me, and that the best they can do is cancel my reservation with no fee. I was explaining to them that my wife and I took off work, reserved hotels and paid for attractions already and I am depended on this this car for our family vacation. However, I felt like I was speaking with a wall and that Hertz was not willing to admit their mistake and find a solution for us. What a joke! I will never make a reservation with Hertz again! I learned my lesson. I called Alamo and got a better car for $100 less then Hertz.
