For as out dated that it was the bathroom was at least clean This was the only hotel in the area. Very out dated. It was a little creepy when there was only 2 other people at the hotel. Desk operator was also drinking. Carpet was extremely dirty. To expensive for what you got
Location was excellent for my purposes. Hotel is tired; but clean. Room was quiet. For someone who just wants a room without ANY amenities, this hotel is fine.
the hotel was in a great location .close to our destination not really
Clean but there were a few odd things. First thing I noticed was two holes in the bathtub enclosure. Apparently someone broke out the grab rail and they just left the enclosure with the holes from were it had been. It was centrally located and we had a very nice dinner nearby at a place called the Wrought Iron Grill. My garage is more soundproof than the room we had. I had to hear the neighbors television the entire night and anyone in the hallway sounded like they were standing next to my bed. The pool water was very murky and it the air was cold in the pool area even if you were dry, to the point where my wife and I chose not to go in the water. Frankly, I was disappointed for the amount of money the room cost.
Great and friendly staff, included breakfast. Room is pleasant and fairly spacious. Flat screen TV, fridge, microwave. It's probably the best place in the area to stay from my research, although options are extremely limited in Owosso. The bathroom was a bit grimy. Toilet stains, some soap scum still around. They provided two small bath soap bars, a lotion, and a shampoo/conditioner combo liquid. The bed was some sort of foam and extremely firm to the point of being uncomfortable to me personally. Also, there isn't central heating/cooling, and I visited in the dead of winter in January, making temperature control difficult. There is a wall unit that is excessively powerful even on a low setting, but no thermostat, making it necessary to keep turning it on and off to stay comfortable. Accommodations are certainly acceptable but a bit barebones. The room doesn't have the polish and quality one might expect from a resort hotel or major chain, but for short stays it's acceptable and probably your best (and perhaps only) option.
