Pros:

No it was not friendly. it was like the person did not like i reserved online he said he had an obligation to sell insurance not the rental on the car very rude he is an insurance agent not a rental car agent he said kayak is no good

Cons:

I went to another agency and a lot different customer service very good and rented from that agency

KAYAK
They were dishonest about not having my reserved vehicle and almost sent me off on an other that was not road worthy. Then they miraculously had a return when they couldn’t fix the car they offered me. They were dishonest with pricing and credits they offered for my troubles. Not the same experience as I’ve had in the USA

There is no one staffing the booth inside the airport. When we finally found their office outside, they refused to rent unless we purchased expensive insurance from them. Liability is provided by Mexican law with a rental, and our credit card has damage waiver protection, but the insisted that insurance (costing more than the rental) was necessary. We had to walk away.
