It was a really nice hotel Only complaint, which is not the hotel's fault, was the soccer teams staying there. they emptied out the ice machines first thing Saturday morning and girls running wild through out the hotel all weekend. Even playing soccer in the halls, kicking balls on others' doors. Hotel was very accommodating with ice from the bar.
Convenience on the road. I reserved a room at Hampton Inn, Malvern because it was close to two local historic sites that I wanted to visit. The desk clerk referred me to a friendy Episcopal Church just a short drive away, which suited my Sunday needs very well. The room accomodation had several welcome conveniences such as fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker, TV and was very quiet and fresh. The bathroom was supplied with thoughtful items. A large room had been provided for breakfast for a sports/family event in the area so the breakfast bar was adequately accomodating for just regular folk. I will definitely stay here again while visiting family in the area. One very small problem with the room was that the bathtub plug did not function to stop water flowing out. I also found that the room a/c unit could not be programed to my preferred temperature, which is higher than the default cooling setting
Clean rooms, nice free breakfast. Only downside was when we called the front desk for pillows and a toothbrush, they made us come down to the front desk to get them. In my past experiences, I have usually received items directly to the room. To me, this exhibited some laziness on the hotels staff's part See above
It was very noisy. They allowed dogs - heard baking each day and had to move to a different floor. Also - lots of traffic noise. Major road outside hotel. Tractor trailers moving all night long.
Good amenities for the price, very clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Good location near the turnpike with lots of restaurants and shopping, yet quiet. Coffee available in the lobby 24 hours. The choice of hard or soft pillows was a nice touch. They didn't have much variety for breakfast. It was really boring for a weeklong stay, though the quality of the food was good.
Location, location, location. Once at the hotel, the car wasn't needed again. Coffee, Craft Beer and Calzones all within a 2 minute walk. New England charm in a vibrant college town. The workout facilities could use an upgrade and variety could be added to the equipment. The parking situation (Parking available on site for $20 per night or a block away for $5) is not ideal but is workable.
I have no complaints other than the room carpeting needed a good shampooing, but everything else was nice & clean. I would definitely stay at Best Western again but would do it more often if they ran some discount specials. Their location was great and many amenities. Staff went above and beyond and I was shocked at their breakfast and how much was included. It was by far the largest breakfast spread I have ever witnessed offered by a hotel.
Clean, nice atmosphere, good complimentary breakfast Better if they provided drinking water , milk/creamer and sugar in the room
Hard beds and they had used some kind of room freshener or cleaner that burned my eyes and nose all night.
Beautiful room, great lighting, good internet, wonderful breakfast. Nothing.
Clean room Rude unfriendly staff. Didn't seem to know what they were doing as they called for a new credit card number to charge for a stay booked throug kayak. Would not go back
Entire staff helpful and caring.
The lady in the breakfast room was amazing, very helpful and friendly, along with the rest of the staff. It's great that they include continental breakfast and also provide a mini fridge in every room The pillow were way to soft, none of us slept well, and they need a fan in the bathroom, it would be so Steamy after showering you had to open then bathroom door for a while before doing anything else in there.
It was a charming place to stay. We were served a lovely breakfast. The room was very pretty and comfortable Wish we had a coffee pot in the room. Breakfast wasn't until 8:00 so we early birds had to wait.
Staff was very accommodating. Beautiful atmosphere. Great breakfast. It was hard to find.
I loved that the hotel was in it's own quaint village with little shops that was within walking distance. We went to the restaurant Brandywine Prime where we had an excellent dinner. The room had a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Everything was great!
Hotel was friendly, with tea and cookies in the afternoon, and a good breakfast selection in the afternoon. The room was made up upon our return. We found the hotel very quiet and the location was perfect. I can't think of anything we didn't like.
I loved how it felt like a B&B but had the privacy of a hotel. The decor was dated but it added to the charm for the most part. The fireplace and tub were wonderful and even had candles. The breakfast was decent for a free meal. I would stay again. There were a few things like the soap dish & tub that had marks/chips in them but overall, the unit and building was in good shape, just dated a little. The waffle maker gave us trouble at breakfast, & no micro/coffee in the room but the fridge was useful
The sweet character, the location, the decorations. The pillows are lumpy, and the beds need upgrading.
This is a charming small hotel located very close to attractions in the Brandywine Valley. Great service, free afternoon tea, very nice continental breakfast included with a lovely lobby and wine bar. The rooms were clean and well decorated. A great place for couples for a weekend getaway and a very reasonable price.
The quiet and cleanliness as well as the good mattress and pillows which made for a restful night Nothing I can think of. Perhaps a bit more imagination could be used in planning the breakfast selections.
We loved our room, the fireplace and Jacuzzi were delightful. The staff was wonderful. The location was great - very close to everything we wanted to do.
Rooms clean, personnel extremely nice. Tea wasn't as elaborate as the travel book I bought made it sound, but still nice to have the tea available in the afternoons. Breakfast also extremely nice. We were very happy and would stay here again~!
The room was lovely, quiet and private. The hot tub was spacious and gas fireplace welcoming in February. The breakfast was outstandingly fresh and the dining room was clean and charming. All in all, the experience was a nice addition to our visit to the Brandywine Museum.
Big rooms with comfortable beds, great for a family.
Good price. Good location. Clean. Comfy beds. Coffee maker smelled like mildew. When I booked, I paid for the option to have "Free Breakfast" but in reality it was free up to $10 a person off the menu. Only the kitchen wasn't open that morning and there was no option to order off the menu. Only a buffet that was 11.95 a person, so it was impossible to get a "Free Breakfast"
I (and everyone else) was trapped there for an extra day due to a blizzard. Staff responded to this difficult situation with much grace and professionalism. I wish I could remember their names; they deserved a bonus from management. Being charged full price for the extra night when no was was able to leave was disappointing. Even the guy plowing the lots had to get a room because he and his 4wd truck couldn't go anywhere else. Due to the circumstances rates for those stranded should have been discounted. But the staff's professionalism and courtesy was so good I'm not pursuing it. I would definitely stay there again.
Very Nice, clean and the guest service was very helpful! Could not change the size of room/bed.
My daughter loved the pool and The fitness room. We had a great breakfast with 15 other people We were traveling with Enjoyed everything
It was close to everything. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Staff was great. Not a thing. Everything was perfect.

The gentleman at the desk went above and beyond. He made us feel special. We checked in at midnight and he was pleasant and helpful.
Almost new, clean, quiet, friendly staff, excellent location for business travelling.
The person at front desk was extremely helpful and the room was very clean.
The hotel is very clean and well appointed. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Internet is free. Great value for the money and a convenient location. The night shift front desk staff was rude (after 11:00pm. He was annoyed that he had to check us in and wasn't very nice or professional.
Complimentary shuttle was very convenient for an excursion to the local brewery.

Friendly staff good location Nothing stuck out but lighting could be better
Overall hotel is very pleasant the staff are excellent nothing negative to report
Overall there were no problems or issues with checking in or out. Employees were nice. It was very noisy on my floor. Lots of people out in the hall talking. It definitely took away from it being a relaxed stay.
It's a good hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep Their fitness center had 3 pieces of cardio equipment and only one worked. And their breakfast was cereal and blue berry muffins. I'm not one to leave reviews or believe them but it was just a very basic hotel. Also all of the vending machines were completely empty and their restaurant is closed until further notice.
Bathroom sink leaked and blow dryer did not work.
Access to anything you need and breakfast was great. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious.
The assistant manager was rather belittling towards me
The front desk staff was very welcoming and enrolled us in the membership program in a friendly manner. The room was clean and exactly as expected. In the morning there was a nice variety of breakfast items to choose from. The hotel is in a convenient location and I would gladly return again.
