I didn't have high expectations for this hotel, just needed a place to crash next to the airport for an early morning flight the next day. For a basic hotel, this was surprisingly nice. Rooms were clean, staff was responsive, liked the modern functional decor, was just right. Appreciated that they had security in the lobby checking people's room numbers before allowing just anybody up to the rooms. Was a slight smell of smoke in the room
Smelled like smoke and dirty
Everything was ok N/a
The staff was friendly and my room was clean. I did not have any problems and was only in town for one night so this was perfect for my needs and the price was right.
The morning van driver kept texting and not paying attention to the customers
Needed a place to stay for a few days while waiting for the next flight out of LAX. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room availability was convenient and flexible. A perfect fit. Minor maintenance to ice machines.
Great clean rooms, friendly staff and comfortable bed. Loved the free shuttle service to our terminal as well
The shuttle took forever to get us from the airport and the rooms were dingy, with holes in the blankets and thin pillows. The rooms are decorated to look all modern but instead they look cheap.
The night I stayed, it was very quiet Morning coffee and tea did not have tea bags or real sugar
Room was very clean. Housekeeping service is great. Ice machines broken on a few floors.
newly renovated rooms; cleanliness small bathroom, poor WIFI Connectivity
Shuttle service yo the airport Great bed
No frills. The location was great! Short $10 uber ride to the Forum. Easy check in. The room was nice and clean. Free wifi.
I like a lot that there are still smoker rooms available and that it is in a reasonable distance to Venice beach.
Clean Freeway access free parking free breakfast value breakfast could improve a little
Wi-Fi, car parking, breakfast in lobby,clean rooms, located at 405, fridge/micro in rooms. No extra pillows available. plastic covering mattresses;
The staff wasn't very knowledgeable about places for breakfast.
Large rooms, well laid out, tidy, comfortable with good parking and reasonable local ameneties. Wifi signal seemed to drop out from time to time
It was close to all the places we want to see. the pool was a joke. they shouldn't even be able to call it a pool
Location and pool area. Comfort, price, room condition, a dog park right next to the hotel that bothered like hell!
Had a good stay. Will definitely stay again. Bathroom was a little diry when I arrived. Food i thought could be better.
I liked the location. It's very central to Hollywood and West Hollywood. This hotel is very noisy. The rooms are very spartan, and this is not a hotel for people not there to party into the wee hours.
A little weird
The location was very central. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The floors need updating. They made very loud creaking sounds. It seemed like the guests above us were going to fall thru the ceiling onto our bed. Guests in a nearby room partied on their deck at sunrise and were very loud.
Great service, fun times, great parties and very comfortable and clean.
there's a great vibe about this hotel. and the best part is, if you find yourself in hollywood and not sure where to go, you can pretty much party in the lobby! also, mini bar items are super cool and fun. not enough space to hang clothes! the mini bar location is cool but not practical.
upon arrival the front desk staff was a bit testy with me and made me wait past 4pm for my room after i had been on the road and on planes for eay too long. i got cut off by a gentleman when i tried to talk in a stern voice i got name and reservation? not even a hi, how are you doing today? location for price isn't too great anymore, elevator was out one night, no one really asks if you need anything, maids don't speak english but at least they smile. not worth what i paid. ridiculously overpriced. i asked about restaurants and all they wanted me to do was order from their room service. had problems getting on internet in room.stayed there yrs. ago, quality of service has gone down. when i arrived no one even asked if i needed help with bags.
The design of the hotel and the rooms was extremely appealing. The staff was nice and helpful
Interesting venue, good location. Service wasn't great, ceilings and walls are particularly thin, making it too noisy at times to sleep. Especially, with some young dork band, relentlessly body slamming each other in the room above from 3am to 7am in the morning, before going swimming in the pool, fully clothed outside my room at 7.30am. The staff seemed to be oblivious to this.
The walls are very thin, you can hear everything going on in the room next door..
It is close to the airport. The room was old and dirty. Breakfast was poor.
Nothing The name is a ripoff! On the web page it was mistaken for Holiday Inn Express. This is NO Holiday Inn Express. There should be a disclaimer. The TV was a 22” standard. There were ants. The a/c was hard to regulate. Dirty carpet.
The location was close enough to the beaches. There were crackheads sprinkled around the area there was a spider in my room it smelled like rancid smoke even though I asked for a smoking room I was kind of disgusted by the stench. Also they charge $.75 for ice cubes actually just a bucket a small square bucket from your room which kind of blows my mind!!
We had flown from NY to drive down to San Diego and stayed for a night in LA. Our room was cleaned, renovated look and comfortable. The staff was excellent and free breakfast. Very affordable.
Nice finishes Comfortable bed Good TV Ants in bathroom - even after killing what we saw at night, more still came back in morning
Room was clean, nice flooring and window covering. Check in evening on 2/9. Clerk not very friendly, did not smile.
the speed to internet is very slow
No. The bed and pillows were full of ants. The desk clerk just ignore my complaint. There was no food that was edible on my diet.
First, I was surprised, that this is not a hotel, but a motel. Anyway, I was very surprised about the cleanliness of the room.. It was in very good condition (I had a room 313) It was perfect as a temporary accommodation, like I needed, when I arrived lax Airport in the night, but I do not recommend it as longer- term accommodation while it's abusing when you hear airplane landing in the middle of the night to the lax airport.
eventhough it is in the crime region , hotel is gated...and ok for singles and men
met my needs for close to airport, inexpensive and clean
room size and quality Noise, transport to the airport
Booked a room thur Booking.com at $79.00 a night. When I got to the Motel there is a large sign that states $59.00 a night. Then The front counter person charged me $10.00 for the shuttle service that is stated to be free on your website. Priced Higher then the Stated Sign Price. Charged for a free shuttle service
Proximity to the airport Very rundown area. Desk staff brusque and unhelpful. Cleaning staff co-operative. Inclusive breakfast was an insult to the name of breakfast, Disgusting. Shuttle service was not provided by the hotel as advertised and the result was expensive. I cancelled a booking for a return visit and this was not cancelled and I was charged as a no show.
Excellent overall value for money. Recommended, unless location is a problem. Not within walking distant to any attractions.
I like that the came with time warner cable, a fridge, and microwave. The manager lady was rude, my room smelled like cat urine, the shower sucked, couldn't check into my room until 6p, it was just not a good experience.
Allowed us to check in early Wifi didn't work in our room, had to sit in the car park. very expensive and there was a lot of homeless people living outside our window and the curtain wouldn't close fully
When we walked in the hotel room it looked like a murder scene.. Blood on the walls, the tub was black, hole in the walls, 2 inches of dust around the walls, it looked like someone took a screwdriver and made holes all over the ceiling, pubic hairs in the beds.. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! Health hazard.. the hotel should be shut down and remodeled.
The price on this is the only positive I can think of. You really get what you pay for. And there's a police station nearby. So, first off, there's 27 rooms, and 27 parking spaces, two of which are handicapped. When I came back to the hotel after a night on Santa Monica pier, there was literally only one handicap space left empty, and I can't park on the street because that's illegal during the night. When I tried to get help from the staff about this (they are a 24hr office), no one was there. I didn't get it resolved until I had already parked in the handicap space and was in my room about to sleep. Other than that, the bed was hard as a rock, and the internet barely worked with text-based websites, let alone video streaming like Hulu or Netflix. The neighborhood is pretty scary, especially at night. Your only solace that your stuff won't be stolen is there's a police station a short walk away. All in all, if you're in a pinch and can't afford anything else, go for it. Otherwise, stay away.
Quiet Comfortable beds Newish interiors Lots of free toiletries. Great safe location close to LAX. The bathroom could have been cleaned better. I found some hairs in the tub.
Friendly staff, really large rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, clean rooms and linens, A/C in great working condition, blackout curtains. Super cozy. I slept like a baby. Also, really great location with tons of restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations near by. A few minutes' drive from LAX, car rental places, beaches. Wi-Fi was a little slow at times but overall not bad. The toilet paper was waaaay too thin and it would get stuck and rip when you try to unroll it. Just bring your own toilet paper or use the Kleenex.
Close to beach Smelled a little funny, maybe to much cleaner
When we arrived at our room, the door was open the room was being cleaned. They gave us another room, and it was very noisy we were put right next to the laundry room. Early in the morning, we were able to hear the water pipes. :(
Nothing The carpet was filthy, felt wet, and had huge burns in it. The room smelled terrible. No amenities, the tv was ancient, and there was no privacy. The curtains were transparent so people could see on the room. Do not stay there.
Close to LAX and the beach When I first arrived they asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. I tilt them that I wanted a non smoking one. The room I got had an ash tray outside and reeked like cigarette smoke. Also the last day I was there someone broke into my car and stole a bunch of items. I asked if they could review the security footage and they said that they wouldn't be able to do so till Monday! Oh well I guess you get what you pay for when traveling. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer
It was reasonably priced and the outside looked decent parking was free there was some decent options for the complimentary breakfast the front desk worker was nice There was hair all over the bathroom floor, no mini fridge, the giant jacuzzi in the room looked like it should have stayed in the 70s where it probably came from. We thought of trying it out but the plug wasn't doing its job and it was probably a life saver the Jets looked moldy and gross. The tv wasn't working. I need to use the comp in the lobby for a quick question aire for something and that had a window open that wouldn't close or allow me to use the internet how frustrating!
The convenience to the beach. The hot tub did not work properly. The day evening staff was to friendly. The breakfast could had been a little better.
They gave us a free upgrade to Jacuzzi room!
I like it just it was near to Beach and Near to Airport. The over all look is not good. When I was booking I saw the online picture which seems nice but when I got there it was like an old guest house. People are not nice and I think it is run by a family who also lives there. The breakfast is just a Junk. The room was dirty and the furniture was old. The bathroom was terrible. I would not recommend any one to take a chance to book in this hotel. You will be disappointed
Nothing They told us the day we got there that they lost our reservation. I don't know whether to blame kayak or the wave but what a horrible experience.
Price was okay. I paid for my stay in advance and when I arrived at the hotel, I was told they were sold out. They scrambled to find me a room and then when I got in the room, the bathroom was not clean with old towels on the floor and someone's flip flip flops. There were no shades in my room, broken desk, broken bathroom door, no mini fridge as promised and worst of all mold/mildew in the shower. Also, they ran out of towels, shampoo and conditioner. I switched rooms the next day because of all of these issues but they pretty much remained the same so I checked out 6 days early. Also, there was one super rude guy at the front desk with the worst attitude. I will never go back here. Terrible experience.
Free parking. Service friendly. There is no shampoo in the room (ask reception). Situation is in a poor district but we had no security issues. Rooms near the road can be noisy at night. No breakfast included. Furniture little bit old.
It was close to LAX, and cheap. It was filthy, and really scary. spend the extra $20.00 and stay at the Motel 6, it's next door.
I appreciated the hotel staff and how respectful and profesional they were. This hotel is used for prostitiutes. We came from a religious congress and needed somewere to stay and by your site looked very clean and proper. Also on your site it said that the room had 2 queen beds and they were 2 full size beds. We had children with us and all you could here all night was people having sex. I would not recommend this hotel unless it was for a party scene.
It was cheap. It was the most bare bones room I've ever stayed in. It was obvious that smokers have stayed in the room. The room had 2 beds, a tv & a small table. No phone or any extras. Strictly bare bones.
pool wifi isnt good! Very little signal! No clean room and the breakfast? Very bed. 8 days only toast with butter and marmelade.
Convient location, Staff was very nice. Room was clean. The balcony did not feel stable.....only two fair cable channels...(HBO and TNT.) Internet went in and out, signal was not strong in our room.
Well I thought the price was good. It's was down the street from my wife's grandma's house so o guess that's the only thing I liked about it. The beds were uncomfortable, it stank in the room and it was a nonsmoking room. The bathroom was pretty bad.
Close to the airport, cheap rates, clean room and friendly and helpful staff.
Linens looked clean once the OLD bedspread they never wash was dumped on the floor. Bed was pretty comfortable. The air conditioner worked. That was it. FIrst thing I did was take the bedspread off the bed Shouldnt even have had one. Second thing I did was kill a small cockroach in the tub which i then realized had soap scum in the bottom. I couldnt tell till my shoe slide across it. The rest of the bathroom was clean but the toilet seat was old and dull looking. There was no minifridge in the room. The furniture looked like it was from a second had store. There was an old school tv and the cable was odd especially since They gave u the remote with the key upon checking in. You then had to return it with the key. Never had to do that before. Oh and the KEY. yes a real key not a swipe card. on the door that only locked tight once u were inside and could use the deadbolt. Glad I only spent one night there to be close to the airport.
I only stayed for a night, but this was possibly the best budget hotel I've stayed in. Nothing groundbreaking, but there were many little things that this hotel does better than other budget hotels, like ease of checking in, helpfulness of staff, quality of in-room furniture, presence of in-room min-fridge and microwave, size of flat-screen TV, etc, etc. Overall, I was very satisfied for the night that I stayed. No issues.

Well maintained. No breakfast, they did not claim to have one, it would have been nice.
The room was shockingly nice A bit on the tough side to find The address does not get along well with google maps
For the price you pay I feel you get a bit of a bargain for how clean & nice the room is. Yes, it's not up to date in looks, but considering how comfortable the beds were & how clean the bathroom was, it's was great. Also the staff was really friendly. Only negatives I can think of is the windows don't have a sheer curtain under, so when you open the main curtains for light someone outside can easily see into your room. Also parking is very limited so be wary about parking early near the end of the day.

It was fairly clean although while we are here the housekeeping should be better On the 2nd night here we were on our way back to the hotel and were 3 blocks away when we heard four gunshots in close range. Not my idea of a decent neighborhood
