Pros:
Staff was not very attentive.Cons:
Lines were out of order and confusing. I was pulled from the line to use kiosk. Kiosk was not working properly so after a while I was ushered back to the end of the line I had already waited in. Once I finally got to agent he was very confused and had trouble with taking care of me. The5.6 Fair

Pros:
The car was fine and it was clean. The people at the second location were helpfulCons:
We had booked our car 3 months in advance. When we arrived at the rental site there was no one there. We arrived at 2:30 pm and there was piece of paper on the window that was hard to ready and had a phone number to call. When we called it was another location 10 min away. When we called they really had no idea what was going on but had heard there was no one at the location we were at all day. They told us if we could find a way to get to them they might be able to help us but weren’t sure. So we called an Uber and packed all our bags and my 1 year old in and headed to that location. When we got there they said they didn’t know what was going on but we’re able to give us a car and would credit us the money for the uber we took. After leaving we called the customer service line and were told that we would get a phone call from a manager and it is now a week later and we have not heard anything. When we returned the car they removed the credit for the uber from the final bill and didn’t know how the happened. When I pointed it out the apologized and said they would credit us for one full day of rental. When they printed the recipet it was for the full price again. It seemed like a hopeless cause and we will not be renting from them againOne location in Culver City

Pros:
Friendly staffCons:
I was overcharged and was given a dirty car. With Covid19 going on, the car should have been cleaned. The attendant did however do a quick wipe down. I also tried calling to dispute my rental charges and I have not gotten a hold of anyone. I was overcharged on the daily rate and then charge for another full day of damage waiver; just by being an hour late. I tried to call to let the location know I was going to be late by an hour but no answer. I also was charged an hourly fee.8.0 Very good

Pros:
Everything except the size of the car.Cons:
The car was listed as an SUV, but it could barely ... and I mean BARELY ... fit four adults and their luggage. The backseat passengers had to share their space with one of the suitcases and several smaller objects. Not comfortable for the trip to/from LA and Vegas.2.0 Poor

Pros:
Nothing - the office is very difficult to locate, tiny, cramped and at the time I was there, was headed by a very unfriendly, unhelpful rep.Cons:
The following morning after returning home on the spare tire at 4am, I called the local drop-off office in Culver City, CA to advise that I would be an hour or more late in returning the car and was told that there would be no extra charge. When I arrived at the counter, I was treated rudely by the rep and charged for an extra day. A customer call service rep removed the unwarranted charge, but I feel the situation was handled poorly and that I should not have been placed under jeopardy by driving a long distance on a spare tire that the installer said was good for 50 miles only. Never again10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
Bottom line, I wound up getting an upgrade for slightly less than the original price quoted.Cons:
I had reserved a car the day before. I had a confirmation number and a price quote. I arrived to pick up the car and was told there was nothing available in the class matching my reservation and that I would have to pay more in order to rent something else that was available. I spent 45 minutes talking to the man working in the rental office and two different Avis customer service agents in order to finally convince them to do what should be automatic. Regarding rental availability, there seems to be very little communication between the Avis reservation system and the satellite rental lots, and zero communication between the lot and the customer.3.6 Poor

Pros:
The car was in good conditionCons:
- They asked me if I wanted to pay for gas from their side when I come back and I said yes, so they added 40 dollars into my bill saying this is on hold and we will charge how much gas you use. When I returned the car, they said you already paid 40 dollars for full tank of gas and regardless of how much you used, this is already paid and no refunds. I had only used 20% of the tank. Worse service ever. Never go to this Avis again.2.0 Poor
