had fridge clean inside the rooms but dirty outside and all around the building. Also somewhat of a rough crowd, people shouting and arguing loudly in the parking at fairly late hours.
It was close to downtown area Tiny roaches in restroom
This place needs to be inspected by the health department because the room was fithy, everything you touch was sticky. Wr wanted a none smoking room but the room we were in smells like smoke. The AC was not working, they have a ceiling fan. I am.writing their corporate office.
Not much Not much
Room was clean, quiet, comfortable. Outside was dirty, too many people just hanging around outside does not feel safe.
NOTHING ABOUT THE STAY AT ALL NO HELP FROM THE FRONT DESK THERE SHOULD BE A SECURITY GUARD PATROLLING THE AREA, ROOMS HAD A BAD ODER PEOPLE PARTING TILL 4:30 IN THE MORNING PLAYING VERY LOUD MUSIC ALSO FIGHTING AND YELLING GOING ON DRUG USE GOING ON OUTSIDE I WILL NEVER PUT MY FAMILY THROUGH THAT AGIAN.
I liked how we didn't have to wait that long to check in. Plus they also had elevators for your convenience. I didnt like how the breakfast hours were. The mini fridge wasn't keeping our food cold.
Beds were very comfortable and rooms were quiet
The beds were nice, the bathroom was spacious for two people. I really enjoyed fan in the bedroom, they were very accommodating and let us have extra keys when ours stopped working! Would stay again! the breakfast was disappointing.
Hardwood floors were nice Nowhere near university or downtown, next to loud freeway, holes in bedding, no towels upon arrival, MOLD IN BATHROOM, breakfast food was gross, staff was unfriendly, elevator was broken/under repair, ice machine not working
I enjoyed the stay over all. The staff was friendly. It was super easy to find the location. The room was some what clean. The smell immediately as I stepped out of the room. Only Two pillows For Two Queen Size beds. Towels were gross.
That it was right off the freeway. The bathroom was falling apart, had holes in the doors, and the towel holders were hanging by just a few threads. The bed was miserable, the pillows were basically non existent and the mattress even had holes in the sides. Didn't realize that our booking was for a smoking room and boy did it stink. All of our clothes had to be washed. The AC unit shut off and on all through the night. Worst sleep ever!! This hotel should be no more than $40 a night!1!!
Cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff--especially with regard to excellent dining options in Austin. The only access to, and exit from, the hotel was a driveway directly to the I-35 frontage road going southbound. A little too much high-speed excitement for me! (And it really confuses the GPS.)
Nothing Never seen a more dirty uncaring hotel in my life I would never stay there again
Our room had been freshly painted. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast consisted of waffles and pastries, but we like waffles, so we were good! Rates were reasonable. The mattress has a plastic cover. Good for cleanliness concerns, but not for comfort!
Rates were pretty cheap, staff was very nice. Facility is old and not well kept up. Definitely in need of renovation. Area surrounding is not great, as an example, the parking lot is fenced in and there are security patrols at night time. In addition, the main lobby entrance is closed at night and a side one requiring card access is the only one open. Hallways had musty smell, rooms were slightly better. Bathrooms showed their age (peeling paint, gaps in the shower stall), though were generally clean. 1 of 3 bath towels was extremely dirty, like someone used it then put it back and it never got changed. Overall would only stay here in the future if budget was primary concern, otherwise would pay more to stay somewhere nicer.
The water was hot and the room was clean. The breakfast was disapointing
Nothing! Popcorn, bottle caps, trash in the room. The beds were like boards. Super hard. Condom packages all over the parking lot. Mary at the desk was rude and incompetent.
Good value. Poor location for visitors.
The room was in major dos repair. Mold in the bathtub and paint and skuff marks on the wall as well. The lamp shade was brittle and is falling a part. Internet was useless.
Professional staff. Was in my room resting within 5 minutes of arrival.
Very cheap and basic but a comfortable clean place to stay. Good value, though room smelled a bit funny. Nice quiet place for a couple hours before heading into the city. Very basic, neighborhood a bit sketchy, and breakfast was a joke.
Room quality, cleanness, location The hotel is located close to the highway, so there is quite noisy even during the night
Fair staff, near 24 hour restaurant, comfy bed It is near the highway, so if you are bothered by sirens, try another hotel
Mattress was slanted
Rooms excellent for the price. On par with much much more expensive rooms elsewhere. A bit of a walk from University campus (I had business at the AT&T Conference center) and 6th street (heart of downtown) rather far away
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Noise, both because of the thinness of walls resulting in the noise and the highway.
Good value for money; very friendly and helpful staff. Some rooms do not have windows. Breakfast is very basic (no meat or cheese, for example)
the beds were very comfortable there were roaches and crickets inside the room. the air conditioning didnt cool the room. the fridge did not stay cold. the room was not cleaned thoroughly after the previous tenants as there were belongings and trash left in the room. the pool was tiny. we were attacked by a swarm of bees on the stairs. the only vending machine was located in the lobby. the only access to the second floor was one set of stairs on either side the building, forcing us to walk far with all our luggage.
Great location. 5-10 minutes from university/downtown area. Breakfast had waffles, danish, cereal, and sausage. Poorly maintained. There was notable mold on the bathroom ceiling, a crack in the shower that allowed water between the plastic and wall, the lights flickered and didn't work well, the door didn't close completely. There was a cheeto bag in the entertainment center upon arrival. The staff's response to a 2a.m. call about disruptive guests was that they already asked them to be quiet and didn't know what else to do.
That we asked for a cab it took 20 min because the lady at the desk must have a deal with him. It cost 20$ . The bedroom looked like it had mold and the toilet paper was wet??? Wouldn't stay again
One of the few hotels with rooms available the week end of acl festival. not too far from downtown. the Neighbors.
Good rates and service. Rooms clean Bad location (did not feel safe staying alone) and hard to get to because of construction.
Perfect location near downtown, right off expressway. Especially given the location, it was a good value for the money. Room was decent, basic. Poor insulation on the doors mean you hear everything going on outside. My husband, who is a light sleeper, couldn't sleep. Rooms need some updates, looks like they were halfway remodeled. New shower would be good, light fixtures. Breakfast had few options, no space, and items ran out like fresh fruit. All in all, I'd probably be back if I were in a bind to find a room again.
Great price, good location - easy access to downtown and ACL Music Festival Room not that clean. Locks on door get stuck and sometimes hard, if not impossible to get into the room.
The room and bathroom were fairly nice looking for such a low-priced motel on the freeway. Breakfast was fairly standard carb-loaded "continental", but they at least had Belgian waffles, fruit and microwaveable sausage biscuit sandwiches. The room had a slight odor that my wife described as "stale popcorn", despite its apparent cleanliness.
Location It took me 1h to get check-in due a reservation issue Bed sheets, covers, old.
I was surprised with the free breakfast and the friendliness of the staff, both checking in and checking out (which happened to be the same gentleman both times). Even at the end of the breakfast, staff members were still refilling waffle batter and cleaning up after guests. We would have liked more television options, as only local channels were offered in our room, but for the price we paid it was a great value for what we needed! And with wifi available, we didn't really need tv anyway.
I like the microwave, fridge,etc... that's in the rooms also the big beds. That its very noisy, can't sleep bcuz dope dealers and addicts knocking on your door all night long. Waking you up bcuz they have the wrong room number to where they are going. Go outside people are smoking weed in the open like nothing it was horrible. This is all at the Austin, Tx location off E.Koeing lane by the IHop.
Its not a value for money stay
The location was the only good thing. Rooms where too small. Had to pay for WiFi with a prepaid card, but they had sold out. Bathroom was gross, shower had no water pressure. Ice machine didn't work. We will definitely not be staying there again.
Price Makes sense how cheap it is. Between the random drifters and the cigerette burns in the blanks and desk, you get what you paid for. Drop another $15 and reasonable to stay there. And get stab insurance.
Very kind and helpful staff Clean Pretty comfy bed Good location Breakfast left something to be desired; the waffle maker IS shaped like Texas however.
The room had rather strange hippie decor and the treadmill in the fitness center was nonoperational.
staff was nice but it was noisy all night long ... people coming and going all night lone.
Nothing Felt unsafe.. Looks like a hotel that rents by the hour. Suppose to stay 4 nights, stayed 1 night and went to a nearby wyndam for remaining 3 days of our stay.. We normally not very picky because we don't spend much time in a hotel room but this was a miserable nights experience..
Not a thing at all! The drug deals in the parking lot with plenty of thugs lurking around. The room itself was very stinky muggy and hot with cockroaches already living there permanently.
Found 7 roaches in the first hour! Water pressure wasnt enough to get the shampoo ouf of my hair. There is only sheets on the bed so if u get cold suck It up. Worst motel I have ever been to!!! Will not stay here again. Would rather sleep in my car.
Location Bed sheets stained, water pressure super low, very flat pillows, remote control for TV not working, requested to change rooms and not help with that
I liked that I didn't die or get hurt. It's in a sketchy part of Austin. There are roaches everywhere. The bathroom floor was literally mushy, because water had gone under the stick-on floor laminate. Beds were far from comfortable, had a dip in the middle of the mattress. Pubes on the pillow (!!!!). No fridge or microwave. No closet. But the people were the worst part. Other guests were so seedy the motel has a security guard at night and a CURFEW. I witnessed a fist fight and the police showing up. I heard a very loud verbal fight outside my window the first night, then the second night was worse: someone kept yelling, "NO PLEASE DON'T!" over and over, then I heard what sounded like physical struggle, and then a lot of human whimpering. I literally couldn't tell if they were male or female. It was horrifying. I called 911. I will NEVER stay there ever again.
We didn't get at time, because our flight was late twice, so i called motel 6 to said that we arrived late, at 8am and then didn't refund our money because we didn't stay there.
Room was clean and comfortable. It was definitely on the small size for a room and was a little cramped for the 4 people we had staying there but for the price it was certainly acceptable.
The staff was helpful and quick to do their job. Well kept room. Bare essentials and affordable. Worn exterior. Room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. Wouldn't bring entire family.
I took a shower and black water ran off of my feet from the floor. The floor was absolutely filthy. Other than that, it was ok except the price I paid for the hotel was totally unreasonable for the accommodations.
comfort the staff was doing business and not attentive and did not want to provide change because of their business and then they want to be doing accusations as attorney contacts that get paid to implicate. Also, when I called the first night for the reservation I called the right number and they sent me to the wrong address. When I asked the motel clerk if she could call the other one to accommodate the situation since I was traveling I was told they could not do that. The clerk was a very big women that is still harassing me today 5/13/15 that she needs to get paid for money laundering that she does and she was paid a room at the first motel as a parole officer to do business. I am not under parole as I have never broken the law. She is high dollar pay for money laundering by white and Mexican lords. I would like to be reimbursed with a discount for a future stay
Bathroom looked dirty, shower head leaked, no hair dryer in room, no shampoo, etc., sketchy area of town
It was bad.... Bugs everywhere I didn't like rooms, smell bad in the room! Bugs on the floor!
Price was cheapest in town. The details on Kayak listed "Entertainment - Wi-Fi and satellite channels" but they charged $2.99 for Wi-Fi (it's the principle not the cost). Additionally even though I had the room furthest from the Freeway, the traffic noise was constant.
When looking for a cheap motel, I expected a ratty 1980's bed spread and carpet that required shoes 24/7. This place was clean, new and fresh. Perfect for our impromptu Austin adventure.
It was a 15 min walk away from the mall They seemed to have a shortage of towels. They never knew when the rooms were going to be cleaned. I waited for hours one day and they never came
I was out of there quick without getting killed First room was full of smoke, requested a change to another one that had less smokey smell. Bathtub had pubic hair in it. Had to goto the store and get disinfectant. Called front desk and requested a partial refund.. Have not heard back. Price is high, go elsewhere and pay the extra $15 for cleanliness and less sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot.
There was a cart available to carry our things in.... The a/c was cold... The TV and remote worked... The room was clean and nice... I will stay there again when visiting family...location great.
I liked the look of the hotel upon arrival and the rate was reasonable for the area. I only found one more economical, but it wasn't in proximity to the area of Austin I was visiting. I didn't like the noise that came from the room next to mine. Traffic in and out of the room constantly. I had to sleep with my earbuds in my ears to drown out the unpleasantness. My pillows smelled like dirty, dirty hair.i covered them with a towel. My bed looked as if it had been slept it (pressure wrinkles in the sheets).
Absolutely nothing. Everything was awful. Disgustingly unsanitary and was nothing that the website said it would be.
It had a bed and a shower. We were just stopping in on a long road trip and needed a place to sleep and refresh. In that aspect, it delivered. The location is very shady, the staff is slow and seem to be annoyed to even check you in. The decor and facilities are very outdated. Only stay here if you need a cheap place to close your eyes for 8 hours.
Flat screen TV, mini fridge, and micro wave I was not able to get more towels. There were crack heads and people who looked trashy. Not a safe place to stay at by yourself. There were several cops.
Nothing at all stay away. Everything!!!
