Pros:The man at the rental counter was friendly, patient and generally great. He took his time with us and went above and beyond to help us. He was really wonderful to deal with.
Cons:What we reserved (and the photos that explained what we had reserved) looked very different from what we got. We expected a mid-size SUV and the vehicle was small.

Cons:Shuttle Busses to/from rental car area took forever. We wound up walking to the terminal after we returned the car. This is not the car rental company's fault.

Pros:Very helpful staff and easy to pick up and drop off (once you realize it's off a shuttle from the airport). They even inspected the car with me before I picked it up and after I dropped it off so there's no surprises.

Pros:The car was clean inside and out, which is a feat if you are familiar with Icelandic roads. Pickup was a breeze and dropoff was even easier. The staff was nice and helpful. The unlimited wifi extra was awesome and I would suggest it. Makes getting directions and posting sweet photos from the trip easy. Pretty good value for ~9 USD extra. Overall, had a pleasant experience with Dollar and would definitely consider them again the next time I come to Iceland.
Cons:The only hiccup I had was getting in the car and realizing that the car wasn't a straight automatic like I thought but was actually an automanual. Wasn't a bad thing, just threw me off for the first few minutes in the car because it was unexpected.

Pros:The car was fine and met my expectations. All rentals are speedy in Iceland so I don’t feel that was an issue.
Cons:It seemed the people were not picky about the #of scratches, etc. moreso than I have experienced in the past w you all. I understand they probably have a lot of use by some people that has led them to this, but it felt uncomfortable.
