Pros:Excellent customer service
Pros:car was new and ok
Cons:drop-off personnel extremely rude. Also, In Tucson, they seem to be running a scam where you return the car completely full of gas and they charge you $13 for gas anyway if you don't have a receipt from within a few miles of the airport (I had filled up, requested receipt, but machine didn't work and counter people were too busy to provide)

Pros:When we picked up our car they told us that the kayak insurance we were given was no good we had to get extra insurance that amounted to way way more… Then when we return the car, they ask for a receipt for gas. We didn't have the receipt but they could see that we returned it with a full tank, yet they insisted they had to charge us for gas without a receipt. We were tired and angry as we have been on the road for 3 1/2 week . We will never ever rent from dollar again. And would hope that kayak could return our insurance money which was not accepted

Pros:I was never told I needed to purchase extra insurance. I was only given the choice of what package. The cheapest was still three times the amount of the car.
Pros:This was the easiest and fastest drop off ever.

Cons:I was told by the Dollar agent in Tucson that the third party insurance that you offered (which I purchased) was pointless in that it did not cover loss of use and would be difficult to file a claim. I am very disappointed in the fact that this was offered as basically a way to make more money and had no value to me, the consumer.

Pros:The car was clean, they found our reservation pretty quickly, car was ready to go without a delay
Cons:We payed $5/day for the next-best upgrade so we would have larger doorway to get in and out of after surgery. We were given the lowest base model. Employee at Hertz was very unhelpful and not empathetic at all, stated that unless we book directly with Hertz we cannot be sure what sort of car we will get except for a category. He also stated he had no cars of that model at this time... then we saw one two cars down from the car we rented. We felt a bit jipped ($25 extra for nothing), and somewhat blatantly so. And we didn't get the easier entrance to the car doors, unless we were to pay even more... which we were not disposed to do.
Pros:They were great! They gave me a free upgrade to a very nice car which was.much appreciated.
