Pros:Drop off was quick and easy
Cons:Had ordered car for 2PM knowing we were getting in at 2:45PM expecting to pick up and go. But still waited for 30 minutes after going to Dollar Counter and find out I needed to go to the Hertz counter to pick up my unit. After getting to counter thought they would hand me keys and I would be on my way, however after I was done with the counter they told me it would be a few minutes while they prepared the unit, which turned into a 30 minute wait which I was trying to avoid because we were traveling with my 80 year old father-in-law.
Pros:The replacement rental was a very good car.
Cons:The transmission failed on my original rental.
Cons:Car had trouble starting for several days. Battery finally went out. Had to have the car jump. Wasted 4 hours Of our day. Had to drive to the airport for a new vehicle. Company needs some kind of check system to ensure car is running properly.

Cons:The 'special' is advertised as a compact or higher, its a compact, period, no upgrade. The additional fees to include a spouse as a listed driver results in a higher total cost than other vendors. The vehicle had not been cleaned and the fuel tank was not completely filled though we were expected to bring it back full.
Cons:I ended up having to pay much more for my rental than I initially thought I would have to pay. Traveling by myself with two children I didn't have time to look for another rental or discuss the pricing in details, but I was disappointed I had to pay more. Renting from Dollar didn't end up saving me any money although they made it seem like a deal when I initially made my reservation.
