Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. Extremely comfortable bed in an unusually large, spotlessly clean room with a wonderful view. Both are exactly like the picture on their website! I'd be very happy to return. Noisy footsteps from the child in the room above. Is this the only motel in the U.S. without coffee maker/kettle in the room?
The staff was awesome. Their suggestion truly contributed to my great foliage trip in VT. The room was really nice and I will definitely recommend this inn to anyone!
Liked the small cottages
The staff did not contribute to find any positive aspect for this place Very aggressive, rude and impolite staff, not respectful of guests
Great atmosphere. Comfortable, very good staff. Locate in the middle of a terrific town. Restaurant has city prices but was excellent and worth it. Reasonably close to Bromley and Stratton so a great ski hotel. This was our second stay and we will likely go back again.
The friendly, informative and helpful staff were wonderful to deal with. The property is beautiful and there is something for everyone. Had a delicious meal on site at the Marsh Restaurant. Very relaxed and can't wait to go back! Lighting in the guest room, especially near the sink mirror, was not bright enough. Slight musty smell in a couple of the sitting areas..
booked on Kayak since rate was $100 per night cheaper than going direct to Equinox. arrived late on wednesday night (8:30 PM) and went right to room to settle in since we were getting up early to ski at Stratton on Thursday. Left at 7:30 am for stratton and came back to hit hot tub and realx for the night. Oops hot tub broken and pool occupied by a few familys with kids running around wildly and jumoing into the pool. We tried to book massages instead, but only one time was available so I let my daughter take it. I went and got cleaned up and relaxed in room until she was done. We went to dinner and called it a night. Checked out around 8:15 on friday morning to ski and then head back to Ct. When we checked out I asked about the $35 per day resort fee since the hot tub was broken and was credited for one day (I guess that was fair) but we had no other time to use the facilities and still paid this fee. I would rather they put all charges in their rates instead of nickel and dime add on's that you are required/expected to pay.
Thank you so much. Had a great time
Cleanliness and location. Note this is an adult only hotel. They have par 3 on their property, shuffle board, tennis courts and two pools. I believe there is a small gym but we didn't see it. Very quiet motel but there is a restaurant/bar that is a 3 minute walk from the hotel which is super convenient.
comfortable clean room & tickets given free for local places of interest no
rooms, pool, beautiful setting with brook, very attentive owners, comfortable beds not much for breakfast. A bit of fruit would be nice.
The room was very quaint - fit with the surroundings. Very comfortable. The bathroom arrange ment was a bit unusual. THe wireless internet was off and on. It was not consistant.
The room was massive. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The best ‘countryside’ location of any of the hotels we stayed at.
The rooms were big and convenient with a nice view of a garden with hummingbirds and a beautiful creek. The service and wireless Internet were very good. The motel is within walking distance from Bistro Henry where you can eat a great dinner.
Nice, no frills but perfectly adequate facilities, clean and spacious. Fantastic garden with flowers and a brook running at the bottom - the rooms overlook it, and it feels like a countryside cottage.
The room was large and clean and very close to downtown Manchester. The owner Marriane was wonderful! The rate was very reasonable and I will definitely stay again.
VERY NICE!!! Welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, very quiet location. Would recommend. Breakfast was included, nice and fresh but served on polystyrene plates/bowls... proper china would have been a nicer touch for the grade of hotel/motel. Don't let that put you off... nice place to stay.
great service on arrival and the view from our room Like most American hotels the breakfast is not great
The owners Maria and Richard were very nice and made me happy I chose their motel
Beautiful setting with flowers everywhere, river just beyond garden in back, mountains just beyond. Very peaceful. Large clean rooms. Homey breakfast area with fireplace, large windows, and piano. Very charming innkeeper
Parking lot is in serious need of repairs. Restaurant was not open for breakfast.
The staff was super friendly and easy to work with. The rooms were clean and so close to Manchester Center. The gardens and outside are were very nice too. We would definitely stay again when in town.
The room was very quiet and very clean. We stayed for two nights and ate in the attached restaurant twice. It was very convenient to walk right next door for breakfast. Also, the bed is very comfy which is great after a day of skiing.
Reasonably priced, nice people, great food at the cafe next door - exactly what I was looking for in a small motel in the Green Mountains. Thanks to the owners for a quiet, hassle-free stay.
The views from your room at this time of year was spectacular. The hotel is located in a nice spot and the price was affordable. Owners very helpful and available. The fridge was noisy. The restaurant was closed the day we were there.

Staff Breakfast non included in the price who was quiet expencif
Location, clean rooms Staff not particularly friendly upon check-in, and that was my only interaction w/ them.
Location was very good. Nice mountain view. Staff was friendly. Very adequate parking. Got a discount for breakfast but did not use it. Easy access to the town. Wicker furniture was a nice touch. Actually better than furniture inside the room. Easy The room was a smelly mess. Baking soda under the bed?? C'mon. Bathroom was terrible. Toilet was poor as was the shower. Did not want to touch the rug on the floor with bare feet. Parking lot very dark and this made it difficult to load car to leave.
Superb location for the Vermont Summer Festival horse show. Nice room with large comfortable bed, very affordable. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Really good food, too. No. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Innkeeper very gracious and helpful above and beyond services related to lodging. Tastefully decorated room. Comfortable.
Quite, nice location, clean, people were GREAT !! Only thing is bathroom door open against the toilet, not much room to work with there if your a little over wait. In room #9
Nice location in the mountains with decent views. Breakfast was very good. They had a nice selection of movies to entertain our son since the pool was closed. Both the pool and restaurant were closed during our stay (pool due to rain and didn't realize that the restaturant would be closed mid week). The heater baseboard covering was loose and every time the bed moved it would rattle the heater.
Yes, I felt that the room needed to be spruced up. While clean, the wallpaper was peeling in places, and the wooden surfaces need to be painted. Even though it was clean, it did not feel that way,
great place, 5 mins away from straton and bromley, good breakfast no coffee maker in room
Pleasant large , clean room
Convenience of the location; office personnel were personable and attentive. Though the room was clean it had an odd chemical odor - maybe paint or carpets? It met our needs but was expensive for what it offered. The pool was much smaller than photos indicated and, $3.00 for bagels and muffins is too much considering room price; PR led one to believe bathrooms were more luxurious than the reality (only a shower, no tub).
nice room comfy bed I did not realize that this was a hotel with outside doors otherwise I would not have chosen it.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the location was excellent. A lovely little getaway in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont. Highly recommended.
the location the first room they offered was directly over extensive roof work actively in progess. second room was so moldly smelling we could not stay in it. third was better.
large room. nothing

We booked the cottage, so the 3 of us had lots & lots of room No curtains on the kitchen window & the shower didn't look very clean (or maybe it was just water stains). It also appears that they're new owners & doing lots of renovations because there were all kinds of things outside & all around the property.
Super friendly and accommodating staff.
Super clean and good value
Everything was amazing. Continental breakfast.
Location was great. Close to many scenic routes in the area and walk across the road to Stratton Mtn village. No screens on room window. Some areas (Hallways and stairwells ,ceiling in shower ) needs repainting. First glance made the place look shabby and rundown but once inside the room everything looked bright and clean.
Great location for skiing in Stratton Staff very friendly and helpful Hot breakfast did not change for the 3 days we were there. Always the same- scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, and french toast (from frozen). Very mediocre. $8 for adults, $5 for kids. AC was incredibly noisy and get going on and off every 30 minutes. Kept us awake! Room was in the right wing of the hotel- not noisy at all. Would have been nice it there was a pool for the kids.
Cute motel in the Vermont woods! Stayed for one night in the budget room, small and older but perfect for the price, can't beat it! Would definitely come back to stay again if skiing in the area. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating!!
Owner was very friendly and personal. He worked with us for a late check in. Beds were comfy. TV was crap, really grainy image with lines across the screen. Not a big deal tho since we spent most time outside. Bathroom door didn't close or lock.
Just great people who run this place, and, being relatively new owners (this is their first summer), they're around all the time and very generous, helping with my travel plans, extending breakfast a few minutes, offering coffee to take away, etc. Most importantly, though, this place just has a clean, great, retro vibe. None of the fancy, new off-gassing generic decor. Real wood dressers and desks, vintage photo prints, etc. But also with some newer rugs and colorful walls in common spaces. This place hasn't been "let go" -- quite the opposite. New owners seem to be restoring and putting lots of love in it, even new TVs. A great yard and view -- you can even BBQ there, or just lounge in the comfortable chairs on the covered loft. It's a wonderful place, and very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. What's not to like? You know how they say, "When in Rome..."? Well, when in Vermont, stay at a place like this, rather than finding some big corporate chain hotel full of generic furniture, views of overlit parking lots, and employees who turnover every 2 months.
