Good decent hotel, good overall. Excellent Staff, Breakfast Buffet was good, staff is very friendly all around. Plan on staying in Thailand in this hotel. Rooms are good, slightly small but very comfortable.
Just the location, that's about it. I stayed in the apartments tower, even though my booking had been for a room in the hotel ("suite"). By far the worst stay I've had in Dubai, and I've been there many times. There is no chance this hotel is rated 5 stars, it's fraudulent or old and needs to be updated. The hotel lacks energy, lacks a buzz, the bar is packed with hookers, TVs don't have the right channels (Aljazeera/Bein football ones to show crucial Champions League games), the restaurants are on the 24th floor and look like a 3-star hotel's restaurants at best. Their seating and tables are old, and doesn't look luxurious at all. Let's put it this way - I'd be embarrassed to take a colleague there for a business lunch. The hotel itself is dark from the inside, despite a ton of sunlight and unblocked view on all sides. Inside the rooms, the carpet was smelly (probably old) and the bed/cupboards were old with scratches and all. There was barely an office desk to do any work on, and the kitchen was too big for the place. Overall, this hotel is equivalent to a nice 3 star in the US / Europe. I didn't mind the policy to allow gents to take "guests" (girls) upstairs because that's the only consolation one deserves to get for staying at this crapchute.
All was great
the hotel at the centere of dubai and too close to dubai mall & jumirah beach the long long time during chick in & chick out
Very good hospitality
efficient felt internet pricey
Every thing Nothing
The location is truly about the only thing that is good for this hotel - it is somewhat close to the airport and to Dubai mall. Their pool was closed with NO warning posted on their website or other travel websites. We requested a high floor room with a view and were given a low floor room with no view. I would not recommend staying at this property.
Great facility, nice restaurants, great breakfast. Front desk was very slow, checking in and out. Meal service at the pool was slow.
the name only and its on main road The smell is horrible.... amenities are over used and abused.
Its was great
Smell of the rooms and coridors good swiming pool nice birthday and hony moon decoration arrangements free The towels was not soft at all , in very bad touch to the skin very expensive according to the room size and furniture quality ad access to the mall ,, elevators very slow , very dramatice bad view over looking the metal roof of the dubai mall , small lobby bad lighting for the room , spot light in top of the bed , yes you can turn them off , but still they look bad not luxury feels like 4 star level of dubai driling and maintinace was more than what they told us in the letter paper from the manager
The service at the hotel is prompt and efficient. Clean and an absolutley wonderful hotel. Will continue to stay there during each visit to Dubai. The only things we didn't like was how expensive the hotel laundry service is and how over priced and very bad the room service food was.
shangri-la wants to be the same as a Four Seasons but that's impossible for them
Rooms are of great comfort. Very good location. A great Hotel. Eventhough windows are doubleframed, some noise from Sheikh Zayed Road can be heard. But this is not a major issue.
The hotel crew are generally friendly and helpful. Not geared for family vacations
The staff, the service, the quality was all excellent!! It was more than expected. The pool and gym was also amazing services. I would definitely stay there again and if our children are with us we would have utilized the complimentary wadi water park and private beach tickets. The food packages in the hotel were a little too expensive, but there were too many other food options around town to worry about the hotel restaurants.
Apart from our room supposedly not being ready at 7:30 pm on the day of arrival, the stay was good.
Great service , friendly staff, big rooms, rich breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, good location , great value for money They need to improve the pool area slightly
Quoted a lower rate for single occupancy, but was charged for double occupancy and despite speaking with a manager, issue was still not resolved. He claimed he would and get back to me, and never did. Very unprofessional front desk staff plus bad management makes this rather nice hotel undesirable. Will not return.
I was there on my anniversary, the best that amazed me was the extent they went to make my experience wonderful. they suprized me with flowers in the room and a nice cake, also a nice suprise after my spa with a nice private table for me and my wife. this Hotel is a 6 star the 6th star for going beyond the normal hospitality
very equit place. i did not like the hotel services.
Clean with good services hotel Everything was perfect and
Rooms are spacious, bed is extremly comfortable and location is great. Check in and check out is a tiring process, takes forever. Also, there was no hot water in the room at all and wasnt able to be fixed. Room seevice forgot my order.
This hotel was very conveniently located within a few minutes from the Burj Khalifa and many other things to see. The hotel has a great view of both the beach and city. The rooftop lounge and pool offered great views as well. I was with a group of six friends and originally booked 2 separate hotel rooms. The front desk person was nice enough to upgrade us to a 3 bedroom apartment on the top floor that allowed us to all stay together. Great stay and would definitely recommend.
Coffee House staff are perfect The charges or presented the credit card 3 times; are confusing. First we paid through booking.com, then we are charge at the checkin upon arrival then we are charge again upon checkout.
Protect location for shopping No bars
location and facilities poor staff not like in other hotels of Rotana
