Upon arrival, the 2 employees were dealing with a difficult customer, but handled it very well! One of the employees, Brandon, waited on us and was very helpful and pleasant. He went to extra mile letting me sit in a couple of vehicles to see if there were any odors that aggravated my sensitivity to smells. Which was very important to me!! Thank you Brandon for making our experience pleasant!!!

Was surprised to find out that my car rental was not at the airport location. I had to take an Uber to go to the rental location. It took a long time to get my rental car. There was no contact information available so that I could change my rental location or drop off location. I made a big mistake in renting my car thru Kayak.

Terrible experience. Didn’t have a car ready for me. Handed me the keys of the car turned in by the person next to me in line. Gas wasn’t full. Windshield was so dirty I could not see at night. And they were closed at my drop off time which no one ever mentioned. Had to drop it off at another hertz location.

Made a reservation through kayak for a rental car, went to hertz to pick it up and staff was terribly rude and told me they have no cars and to call kayak to get a refund. Employee barely looked at me as he was too busy playing on his phone.

Pros:

Not much. Stood waiting at the counter while the agent was engaged in a personal conversation with someone without a mask. She could not answer questions about the drop off, and could not provide a phone number for the drop off location. Was overcharged for a full tank of gas at the dropoff location, which I will dispute. Refused a paper receipt at dropoff and was told I would get an emailed receipt. When I questioned what the charge would be for fuel, the agent said he did not know. The emailed receipt shows a charge for a full tank of gas, when the tank was over half full. That charge will be disputed. I will try to avoid Thrifty in the future.

More attentive staff, provided with better information.
