Pros:The RAV4 is a perfect car for our open jaw road trip from Hilton Head Island to Atlanta to Orlando.Cons:We own a hybrid RAV4 and the rental an old fashioned gas guzzler, but gasoline is crazy cheap right now ($2.20/gal) so what's a few more pounds of carbon in the atmosphere? My flight was late and they didn't have a car forPros:The good part of this experience was that Hertz was very accommodating. Yes, Hertz!Cons:I flew into Savannah. My flight was late and my golf clubs did not make the flight. After completing the paperwork and making my way to HHI, the desk clerk at HHI airport told me that he did not have a car for me because I was late. He was rude, arrogant, and offered no apology (besides I was late) for renting my car to someone else. Hilton Head is our second home and home to many friends and relatives. Enterprise has always been our "go-to"rental company, but I will never recommend Enterprise on Hilton Head Island to family, friends, or acquaintances. From now on, we will use Hertz for our rental needs, as they arise. Hopefully, Enterprise can find someone more empathetic and personal than the young man working at the desk on the afternoon of June 4. BTW, we ended up renting the car from Hertz for two weeks, and have extended it another week, or until we complete the purchase of a second vehicle to leave on island. Unfortunately, your Enterprise agent did not seem interested in locating us another long-term rental.Reviewed Jun 18 2016

Pros:Long wait at pickup in Savannah. Staff was doing their best, but had to deal with too many people. Car reserved was not available. Drop off in Roanoke was simple.Cons:Have the car reserved be available.Reviewed Sep 6 2020
