Pros:Very disappointed with the whole thing.
Cons:Reserved car for pick up at Charlotte airport. They had no record of my reservation. Then they said my car was at a different location about a 20 min. ride from the airport. Claimed that Kayak always does this in booking cars. Indeed my arrival time at 5:30 and I had the car reserved at 6:30 in case of delays, but Kayak had arbitrarily put my time for 5:00 (knowing that the location of the car would be open only till 6). Needless to say that there was no way for us to get to that location before closing time. I asked Enterprise whether they could look at my reservation and give me a comparable car for about the same price. They claimed they do not have access, but also failed to try to call the central reservation to see what they might be able to do to help me and my family. They were, however, very willing to rent me a 2-door sports car for six times the price of my reservation! A real customer-oriented car rental firm, indeed. I will never book cars through Kayak (I believe owned by Expedia) or Enterprise. By the way, Advantage Rent a Car was very willing to rent us a family car for about the same price as that originally booked!
Cons:17 minute wait at registration desk
Cons:Cigarette smoke. The car including the trunk smelled like smoked cigarettes. At first when we put the luggage in the car, it seemed like the smell was only coming from the trunk, driving the car further I realized that my hands smelled heavily like cigarettes (which I’ve never smoked in my life) and I realized it was coming from the steering wheel. Not pleased with that at all.
Pros:I didn’t like anything; they let me reserve but in reality had nothing available until two days after my chosen date.
Cons:Hmmm I dunno... MAYBE DON’T LET PLL MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR VEHICLES NOT AVAILABLE FOR THEIR CHOSEN DATES!? 🤷♀️🤬😡

Pros:I rarely ever give a negative review, however, there was nothing at all about this experience that was postive. We will probably not go with Enterprise at all in the future, but definitely not at the Charlotte airport again.
Cons:Highpoint Furniture Market happens 2x per year, Enterprise had the longest line. We had confirmed reservations and were required to wait in a very long line with only one employee at the desk checking in this long line. The manager took the other 4 employees who were checking people in off the counter to go get cars! It was by far the longest line at the airport and when we finally got upstairs to get our car, there were 3-4 employees standing around on top of plenty of cars available! Completely mismanaged. It took well over an hour and a half to get a car. This could have been avoided.
