They upsild me to a GPS/Navigation system that did not work-in myriad ways. Not only was it unable to get me to my exact location, but often it would just shut down in the middle of use, and then other times it would give me a ghost direction that had nothing to do with reality. But the fact that it often just was not working, or had to reboot in mid use on its own, or just shut down on its own, was simply maddening. The fact that I had to pay for this is the end was infuriating. Very poor experience.Reviewed Oct 25 2022

I ended up canceling the rental on the stop, ruining the weekend trip plans. Europcar had so much "new stuff I need to add to the order that the price went up to the roof. Not knowing in advance what the final cost will be is big trouble, Do not recommend it. Will try Sixt next tme.Reviewed Mar 22 2022

Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. But it was slightly rushed customer service as soon as more customers arrived you were pushed to make your payment quickly. The main booking through Kyak was fine but on Europcar there were no details or information that is shown upfront about the £250 deposit? I paid £45 per day for the car which was fab and then I paid £11. For a deposit and when I arrived I had to pay the £79 which was fine. What I expected was for my bank card details to be held in case of a accident etc. But no you have to pay it upfront. I was in a hurry and hadn’t prepared for that but I paid it fine in the end but it’s quite a big deposit for 2 days hire but the daily rate was fab.Reviewed Mar 17 2022
