The service was excellent, except for the illogical and completely incomprehensible requirement that the Kasko insurance amount was 1.5 times higher than the car rental cost. Moreover, even after presenting platinum credit card insurance, a $26,000 deposit was requested. It was the first time in my life I encountered such nonsense.Reviewed Apr 9 2026

Terrible!!! They did not have a car in the same class as the one I booked. I was not offered any solution. Then the car they did give me had a flat tire. I had to visit the office three times to get it sorted (impacting my trip). Also, their insurance scam is terrible. I bought premium insurance and I had a letter of coverage but they still forced me to buy expensive insureancs that more than doubled the cost of my rental. They did not offer any solution. I agreed to a $30,000 hold on my card which I had credit for but they could not process it.Reviewed Jul 1 2025

first they did not accepted the insurance I bought for damage to the cars and they requested to by the insurance from them. Then they tried to give me a tiny car, when I said no I will not take the car, they gave me a different car. Finally, the pick up took like an hour because the cars were not ready to be picked up. They did not have the SUV I reserved, and insisted I take a pick up truck or a mid-sized sedan! THey took no responsiblity for this error... Also, the deposit for self CDW insurance (over US20K in deposit) was just too unreasonable. Staff not friendly.Reviewed Jun 6 2024

Only complaint is customer service and communication. Things were not clear since pick up, when they told us we could pick up at the airport and gave us a total cost, then last minute saying that there was an extra fee for picking up at airport. We decided to pick up at the place in ave shyris and had to wait over 30 minutes for the car to arrive. At drop off the over charge us for not keeping the toll receipts with us when they never asked us to do so. I do not recommend Europcar. They are not clear with their fees and communication is poor.Reviewed Mar 23 2024
