Terrible experience with Europcar Italy. Car broke down with a serious gearbox fault — unsafe to drive — and we were stranded with my family for over 4 hours waiting for a replacement. When I complained, customer service falsely claimed it was just an “air conditioning issue,” despite my video evidence proving otherwise, and refused to compensate for the time lost. They also buried a €39.68 “Family Pack” charge in the paperwork without ever explaining what it was, then refused to remove it. A wrongly applied fuel charge was only refunded after I provided my own proof. Dishonest, unhelpful, and not worth the risk. Avoid.Reviewed Aug 4 2026

We were given a brand new puegot 508 gt wagon. Car was comfortable and drove beautifully. Only complaint was the original car wasn’t big enough and we did have to upgrade. Please make sure as the size is misleading.Reviewed Jul 26 2024

The pick up experience was long because there were only two people checking in guests. The lady who managed the pick up experience was stellar. She was kind, effective and considerate of our needs. Drop off was easy as well. Thanks for a great trip!Reviewed Jul 13 2024

I think the drop off point at milan via luigi galvani is disastrous. The road has heavy traffic jam and when i stop the car there, i blocked the road heavily. When i attempt to stop at the taxi stop, the taxi drivers scolded me.Reviewed Oct 8 2023
