It is situated in a small village but within reach of bigger towns. The personnel were very courtious and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was not of the same quality as the hotel itself. The menu was quite ordinary and the service was too rapid. This part of the hotel must definitely be upgraded.
This is not a 4 star hotel. Touted as 'very welcoming staff', reception was mediocre at best. Although the small bathroom/shower were very modern, the room was tiny and the window screen was ripped out. My one meal in the restaurant was good, and the wine I was served was excellent. Parking is a problem and I was asked to come move my car to let another guest out, which was not necessary. I have previously stayed at several hotels in the area as well as in the same ville, and I prefer all the others, and at cheaper prices.
The staff of this family owned hotel provided excellent service. The food was exceptional and the prices were moderate. The location provided ann excellent base for drivingt to hill-top villages and to visiting Arles
price! EUR100 for such a poor standard is a rip off
Rooms are rather small but clean and functional. Family-owned atmosphere; very acommodationg. Great central location for sight-seeing with a car. Restaurant, bar and breakfast facilities. We appreciated that the rooms were very reasonably priced for Provence.
La Ripaille is a great hotel if you like to travel around to see many cities and places from the mountains and the sea, it is in the middle of many attractions. Great then to have a nice restaurant "at home" and a family which helps with everything you need. The swimming pool is appreciated in summer too.
Friendly atmosphere, helpfulness and good, well-priced wine and food A badly designed shower/WC which was almost impossible to use.
friendly & helpful reception staff. beautiful pool restaurant not open
The outside pool is a great asset. breakfast was adequate (not the best we had, but the food was wonderful in the evenings, especially the fish and the 'fig tart'. The owners were very helpful and even gave us a lift to the airport. Although some aspects of the room need updating, such as the bathroom, it was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable,
Very friendly staff and excellent evening meal. Very convenient for Nimes airport.
Given the proximity of the airport the hotel was remarkably quiet. The overall atmosphere was one of calmness and relaxation. The staff polite and helpful. The main attraction as far as my children were concerned were Vanilla and Tiger. All in all a really welcoming Hotel
Good food, nice pool and attractive outside eating area. Room decor getting a little shabby,in need of redecoration.
The loungers around the pool were amazing....bean bags and hammocks!. And I loved being waited on around the pool. The food at the restaurant was very tastey. A 3 course meal with some unusual choices but delicious all the same. Catered well for kids with less discerning palates. Little english spoken but just about enough to get by. The rooms were large and airey with air conditioning and wonderfully large showers. Quiet area but still close enough to Nimes airport which is a fabulous location for early morning flights. An excellent find which I would definitely recommend. no
We stayed one night between destinations. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. There is nothing special about the location.
The staff were very freindly and helpful, the food was very very nice and not expensive, the pool area was great . The hotel does have traffic noise .
It was a beautiful and charming place to stay. The pool was large, lovely and clean. The pool area was well equipped with hammocks, chaise lounges and the staff provided pool towels. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and clean.
Calm, relaxing atmosphere; very charming rustic building but quite sophisticated decor/ambience. Was worried about being so near an airport but only saw one plane and it wasn't very loud. Although only a stopover we all wanted to return for a holiday! although food was overall good, with a very nice breakfast, some disappointments at dinner (poor quality steak; over-peppered duck)
