EVERYTHING! First my reservation got switched to an office (Copperas Cove) that wasn't open on the day I was suppose to pick up my rental. Then I called the original office (Killeen) to have it switched back and make sure they had my car at the correct pick up point. Not only did the Killeen office not have my reservation information, but they didn't even have the size vehicle I reserved! Then they told me the only thing they could do about it was hope someone turned in my type of vehicle in time. No attempt to find one and have it brought from another office or anything. No customer service, no remorse for the inconvenience, a total lack of curtousies. I will never be using Enterprise again if I can help it.

KAYAK
I reserved a rental car at AVIS through KAYAK. Then had someone drive me an hour to find that they had no rental cars available. Could not find a rental from any agency within two hours of my location in central Texas. I ended up renting a 20 foot UHAUL truck for $300 plus another $100 in gas just to drive 6 hours away. Maybe I dont understand how reservations work, but this experience has not been great from KAYAK or AVIS. My recommendation would be to skip KAYAK then just call rental car companies from the location you are going. A reservation number from the rental company is almost always guaranteed. A reservation from KAYAK or some other 3rd party deal finder is not guaranteed. Good luck.

Had a little difficult time locating the car. Wish there was an attendant outside to assist.

If I could give an “it stunk” review, I would. When I got there, another person was there having card issues. Finally the woman told us she didn’t have any cars. I was stranded over 2,000 miles from home with no car! I haven’t been able to get a refund on my prepaid reservation, and I ended up spending over $100 for cab fares to get around since Hertz didn’t have a car for me. Needless to say, I am VERY UNHAPPY WITH HERTZ!

Waited hour and a half to be told they couldn’t rent us the vehicle due to mechanical issue. Shouldn’t this have been checked upon previous return?

Pros:

Due to extreme weather conditions in TX The flight was cancelled. I had to cancelled the reservation. I had to make about 10 call to cancel. I was not giving an answer for the cancellation. Poor service at best.

Cons:

Handle customers.
