Pros:The price. It was half what the big chains were charging.
Cons:The front desk staff was super unfriendly. She clearly hates her job. And no wonder, the building is really sketchy inside and out. Poor lighting, dirty, smells weird, etc. This place gave me the creeps. They charged me a $1000 deposit..... I’m from Utah originally so I have a UT drivers license. They require massive deposits from ‘local’ renters. You have to show a return ticket to somewhere else to avoid it. I had the ticket since I live in DC, but they still made me pay the deposit bc of my UT DL. The car was super scratched up, fluids weren’t full, miles didn’t match what they listed (off by 1k miles...), and interior was cleaned but not clean; meaning you could tell they wiped it down but did a poor job. The shuttle from the airport never came. I waited for an hour. Eventually I, and all the others waiting, just got ubers to the rental place. I asked about the shuttle and the angry front desk troll just said he must’ve been on break. It’s supposed to run every 30 mins on the hr/half hour. It didn’t. And they don’t say that anywhere on their really bad website. If you call the local number for the branch, the wait time is over an hour and clearly doesn’t go to that actual branch. Very unhelpful. Finally, there was no spare tire in the car!! I realized it about half way into my rental when I was going to be without signal for a while and wanted to make sure I had a spare. Wth?? Might have been worth spending 2x at one of the legit rental places. This worked out for me this time, but I would put the chances at about 50% that something would go horribly wrong. Not worth the stress.
