Cons: The service counter was very slow. 30 min per customer. After waiting an hour it was my turn at the counter. I reserved an SUV because I was heading to Park City and wanted a 4 wheel drive. Turns out they rented them all out. Instead, they offered me a mini van. for the same price (a downgrade in my opinion). I declined and took Uber to Park city. Why reserve a car if they are not going to hold the reservation? Really terrible. Never again will I try to rent from Fox.

Cons: My plan left at 6:00 am so I had to be at the airport at 4:00 am. There was no where to drop the car

Cons: I didn't know that they close by midnight, so when I got in to Salt Lake City after midnight I didn't have a car. I had to rent one last minute from another company and paid a ridiculous amount of money for it.

Cons: Flight was delayed and they were closed by the time we got there.

Pros: The staff member that helped us was nice.
Cons: It was very slow. The car we reserved was not available. The car was half full of gas but if I didn't return it full I would be charged. The rental location was so far from the airport.

Cons: My husband and I came to SLC for our honeymoon. We decided we would rent a car for the day to drive to Park City but once we got to the rental place they wanted to charge unnecessarily high fees. The total to rent a car for one day was going to be $220. Needless to say we did not rent a car and instead uber'd to Park City and back for a total of $60.

Pros: Price was great.
Cons: Pick up and drop off was way too long. The drop off was a mess. They open at 5am but didn't open until 5:10am and people were scrambling to get to flights. The clerk didn't tell everyone in line they could get their receipts via email and waited about 10 mins for no reason.

OK rental...once they fixed everything
Pros: - The shuttle from the airport - Employee at registration desk. Once I finished inspecting two cars for them, they finally gave me a differnet rental car and said "Just sign here and take this one (different car)." They didn't valiudate my issues with the car, good for me, bad for business. I could have easily said that the car had so many problems (ie - lied) and they wouldn't have know. It's like they did't care.
Cons: The vehicles... - Cleanliness - Body Damage - Foul odor - Maintenance issues My initial vehicle had so many problems. The bumper was busted and hanging off, the car looked like it was never cleaned, ever! It smelled horrible, the tire pressure was off, the maintenance lights (plural) were on and beeping. I don't know who inspected this vehicle before they deemed it acceptable to rent out again. It needed a lot of work! I really felt like this rental shop was run by kids or GED graduates because of how bad it was. I had to do all the work for them.

Pros: No much. The counter guy was pleasant.
Cons: It took an hour to get a car!!! only three people in line and more people just walking around! I will do my absolute best never to rent from here. I've been coming to Salt Lake City for years and this is the worst.

Pros: The location is a bit of a distance from the airport, but shuttles are available all the time, so no problem. The driver helped us load and unload our luggage. I rented SUV for driving in the snow in winter - the car was very slippery in the snow, could not get uphill to the hotel - since I was going skiing the next day I went back to the rental company and asked them for a different car - they replaced it with no trouble for Toyota Rav 4 - had no issues. Very satisfied.

We didn't receive the vehicle we paid for.
Pros: The vehicle was in good repair and of good quality.
Cons: We reserved a full-size SUV because we had six people and six pieces of luggage to transport. The SUV we ended up with sat six buy DID NOT accommodate our luggage. The three adults in the back seat had to travel with no leg room for 5 hours because we had to put the suitcases in the foot wells. The car had large food wrappers, ie. beef jerky and others, left in the car from the previous renter.

Cons: All tires low on air. Warning light on. The lady just said drive for a bit and it'll go off. It didn't. No windshield washer fluid. Dangerous driving in snowing weather without washer fluid.

affordable rental but long wait lines
Pros: Descent price for rental
Cons: Wait in line is ridiculously long. Also car seats need to be cleaned

Cons: The wait in line at the office was long. Like 45 minutes. There was a guy at the return desk who was just sitting there who could have helped the line of people who just came in from the airport to get there cars to move the line faster.

Pros: I did like how fast the whole process was and nothing was a hassle.
Cons: I did not like the condition of the car it had a mold smell and the seats were badly stained. Also the rental agent who first gave me the car seemed to only want to get us in and out and did not want to go over the process or any of the plans, nor did he care about the condition of the car just said it's the only one when they in fact had a full lot of cars.

Cons: Tire pressure was low in one tire. Vehicle had scratches and worn paint. Not what I usually see in a rental car. Off-airport pickup took more time.

Unclear policies and inadequate service
Cons: 1. The address online and on the recorded message is wrong. It's on south Redwood, south of the I-215 2. Under 'local rental policies', the box is completely blank. You aren't informed ahead of time of the $150 deposit if you use a debit card. 3. They run a credit check if you're renting for the first time. This isn't disclosed until AFTER THEY RUN THE HOLD ON YOUR DEBIT CARD.

Not a good experience
Cons: When I arrived, they didn't have a full size car and tried to out me in a Rav4. I am 6'3 and that cramps my long legs. I went out to check it. And it was dirty. Had scratches all over it. The floor on the drivers side had a hole worn in the carpet. I was not impressed. I went back in and made them trade me to a Camry that was there then. I had the car until Saturday. On Thursday a light came on requesting maintenance. I called 4 times. A day was on the hold for over a half hour. Noone would answer. I rent cars every other week. This is the first time from Fox. I'm not real excited to ever do it again.

Pros: Good rate.
Cons: Initially I was told they didn't have any cars ready and I would get an SUV. I preferred to keep the car and I got it eventually after a wait. The car interior was not very clean and the upholstery was worn and dirty.

Omitted saying their cars can't go to Montana's We
Pros: Quickly cancelled and fully refunded all my money without any hassle.
Cons: Even though I flew into Salt Lake (somewhat close to Yellowstone) and was going to West Yellowstone Montana to stay while visiting Yellowstone, they never told me their cars could not go to Montana. This is a big problem. It's like a car rental in Orlando whose cars cannot go to Disneyland. Fortunately, they immediately refunded all my money with no questions asked when I told them I was very simply going to Montana on vacation from Salt Lake.

Cons: Waiting time to be picked up at the airport & a 20 min wait to see a rep. Also, car not cleaned on outside or inside.

Never again, easy to be lured in by price but wait
Cons: Wait times for shuttle pickup and wait times at the location to check in, total time 1.5 hours from beginning of pick up wait to vehicle drive away.

Decent value...could be better.
Pros: Good car, good price
Cons: Local office does not answer phone. I flight was delayed for 10 hours and I attempted to contact the local office to confirm my arrangement throughout the delay. No one answered. However, i was able to connect on live chat. Parking lot is dark. It was hard to inspect the car at pickup.

Pros: The mileage on the KIA was good.
Cons: Where to start. The inside of the windshield and the inside of the back window were dirty. I didn't realize this until the sun shone on the windshield and visibility was poor due to the dirt. This was a safety hazard until I cleaned the glass myself. The tires were worn. The serviceman at a tire place I went to (due to low tire pressure) pointed the wear out and asked how long I'd have to drive the car. Finally, when I returned the car, I found out that company policy is that the cars not be driven in Montana because their insurance does not apply in Montana. In other words, had I bought the insurance and had had a wreck in Montana, I would not have been covered. I was told at check-in, that there's a sign inside the rental building stating that the cars are not to be driven in Montana, but I didn't see it, nor did the rental agent mention this little detail. I see no mention of this policy on the webpage where I booked the car, either. Imagine making the car reservation for your Montana vacation and finding out on arrival at the agency that you're not supposed to drive in Montana!! Never again.

Left us stranded at the airport.
Cons: My Flight was suppose to land at 10:30 PM, but was delayed and landed at about 11:20 PM. I got my baggage and went to wait in the Fox shuttle line. There were two other guys waiting and had been trying to call the Fox office, but no one was answering. They close at 12:00 midnight. They obviously left early and ignored our attempt to get them to pick us up. I had to rent another car from Dollar and it cost me an extra $50.00. I am disgusted at Fox's laziness and poor customer service.

Waiting for the worst....but it never happened!
Pros: I was so impressed by the ease of our Las Vegas check out that I expected a big issue of some sort on the return and it just didn't happen! Checked-In, refunded deposit, and wished us a good day!
