Our sleep number bet didn't work with 2 people in it. Very uncomfortable
Room was comfortable and clean- bed and chair with ottoman Loved the refrigerator and safe in room Loved the shower set up totally cool! Loved the shower gei, shampoo. Body lotion, mouth wash and soaps Loved rhe coffee maker I'vei was surprised that the interior of the hotel although clean wasn't more modernized. I knew that I was staying at anRadisson Hiotel but looking around as one walks through the hallways to the elevator you don't get that Radissom vibe The rates are too expensive.
Room safe was inoperable. The sleep number bed controls would not work- fortunately the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We like to stay here due to its location and have done so for many years and expect to continue in the future.
Super comfortable beds, quiet and clean. The staff was great and the location was perfect.
Good Location Old work out carpets in the room and hallway Smelly and dingy looking bathroom Seems to be an old building that needs some upgrade and facelift Noisy
We liked that the room was clean and the hotel itself appeared nice. Our room was right at the top of the stairs, and the bar directly at the bottom of the stairs was incredibly loud with club music and drunk people yelling. The view out of our window was barbed wire and a wall. I felt like they put us in the worst possible room because we booked it through an outside site instead of directly through them.
Gross wouldn't even eat the free breakfast !!! Non smoking room smelled like smoke and had cig burns all over the room felt like bates motel
Bathroom was in very poor condition. Bath faucet was constantly dripping. The exhaust fan did nothing, probably not vented correctly. The pillows smelled of perfume. The breakfast room had very little to eat. The place is a dump!
It was dirty and smelled like smoke outdated
Bed uncomfortable. Carpet very old and dirty. Not professional front desk staff. No 'hello', no friendly conversation, just silence until I spoke. In the morning, kid asleep on couch in lobby. Very unprofessional and WAY overpriced room. It's just a basic room, should have a basic price not an expensive price.
The bed was comfortable. Was shocked to see how cheap and broken down so much of the hotel is (e.g., the elevator floor is uneven, the walls on our floor had poorly covered holes in the wall, the room did not have a mini fridge, the television was so pixelated it was uncomfortable to watch, etc).
Location. No parking available for my car. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. No holder for the toilet paper, we had to leave it on the floor in the bathroom. TV reception was poor. TV was not an HD TV which one would think was standard in 2016, especially at a net rate of $250/night for a beach hotel. Handle on chest of drawers was broken couldn't use the second drawer. None of the drawers were on their tracks. Sliding closet doors were off the track. Touted as a dog friendly hotel, the cleaning crew was not obligated to clean the room if the dog was in the room at the time they arrived.
The outside of the hotel looks better than the inside of the hotel. The hotel is located in a quieter section of the boardwalk. I received a text message at 2 o'clock telling me my room is ready, when I arrived at 6 o'clock my room was not ready. They upgraded me to some sort of better room however it was disgusting! Holes in the couch, dirty windows and Doors that were falling off the hinges. The valet boys do not help with the bags. They only allow you to keep your car until 12 o'clock for an additional $20 fee
The hotel is conveniently situated across the street from the beach and boardwalk. We had called and asked to arrange for parking but when we arrived we were told that they were all booked up because of a wedding and we had to park at meters. Our bathrooms were dirty. There was a safe in my friends room but none in mine and when I asked why I was told that it didn't matter anyway because they didn't have the keys for them. My friends bed sheets were stained and she asked for housekeeping to change them and was told that that was normal wear and tear. We wanted to go to the hotels bar located on the first floor but we're told they were closed until August but then they opened the next day. Right now it's 1:22am and I'm sitting here waiting for about an hour now for someone to come because our tv doesn't work. Not worth the hefty price per night. It's definitely a 3 star hotel at best
The staff couldn't have been nicer. The lobby and the building itself is absolutely gorgeous. The location of the hotel is prime for going to the boardwalk or the nearby venues such as the Stone Pony. The pool was a really nice area in which to relax. The rooms were nice but for $300+ a night (the going rate for a summer weekend), I would have expected it to be nicer. The room was small, which was expected, but it seems the room hasn't been updated in several years. The bathroom is a bit strange - at least ours was. The sink was super shallow and the shower doesn't have a curtain or door. It has a glass panel that doesn't fully prevent the water from spraying onto the bathroom floor. Not the worst hotel room I've stayed in but not the best one for the price paid.
The location and the view were great. The pool was also nice. We spent $600 for two nights at this hotel. A beach weekend for our family of four. When we checked in, they said we could park our car for the first night only (which we had to pay $20 for) but we'd have to move our car to street parking by noon the next day because there was a wedding and they wanted to reserve the onsite parking for wedding guests. That seemed crazy to me. The street meters had a 3-hour limit, so we spent our weekend walking back to the street every 3 hours to feed the meter. A good hotel doesn't do this to their guests. The building looks pretty run down from the outside. It's old and there were some broken windows. Our room was fine, but the overall experience wasn't worth the money we spent. I'd look for something else next time.
The ocean view was so relaxing. Hotel was quiet, but going off season, that's to be expected. Bed comfortable, staff helpful and nice. Hot water took over ten minutes to go on. Windows drafty and hotel is old. They can use some updates. Had some issues checking in that annoyed me but overall it was ok.
the people that work at the hotel was very nice, polite and friendly the maid that clean my room was very sweet, polite and respect woman because i gave her a tip and she was happy the breakfast was terrible the chair of the pool a lot of them are broke and no comfortable at night people screaming and very noise,i call the security to let them know i ask for ocean view but the room only had very little ocean view a building was block the view because i was on the 4 floor,i pay the ocean view and i feel i loss my money because the view was horrible
We were given free parking to compensate for the fact that our room was not ready upon our arrival. The hotel restaurant was not available during our stay, which was a huge disappointment. The handles on the dresser were broken, the volume button on the iHome was broken, and there was some sort of water damage to the ceiling. There was also a round of housekeeping where some trash was not removed.
Location No hot water in the morning.
right across from the beach
Great location! Right across from the beach and walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly - everyone smiled and said hello. Easy and quick check in process. S L O W elevators!
The Staff was very helpful and friendly Its a very old building. We had a leak in our room and had to change rooms at 1:30 am. Then in the next room we were in, the toilet clogged. I was just surprise how much the hotel cost per night when considering those factors.
Location was where I needed to be, bar was expensive as was the room. Weddings took up most of the seating. Our "Garden View" room had no elevator service, 3 flights of stairs, smelled like mildew, was extremely small and our "view" consisted of a rusty crane and concrete. We asked for a change of room immediately, and were denied. We were charged 80% for our room when we left that same night (my wife REFUSED to stay in this dungeon), we were compelled to call relatives for lodging on River Road, where we should have gone in the first place. Amy, the Manager said "she would look into it". Will post another review if rectified.
The bed was comfortable, the staff was eager to be helpful, and the bar was a great time. I look forward to our next stay there!
The serenity of the facility and the staff. I did not like that the restaurant did not offer staple foods such as hot oatmeal for breakfast. For people allergic to milk we felt the restaurant should offer a substitute such as Almond or soya milk. We are ready to pay extra for this choice.
The room was very clean. Very friendly people working desk . Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the morning breakfast was very nice. Paying $3 for a bottle of water from there snack center.
Service was the best I've seen
Location The front desk person kept disappearing and people trying to check in were asking me if there was anyone working I asked for a cork screw and front desk refused to look for one and said "we don't have any" and then tried to give me scissors to "break into" my wine- never once said I will make the suggestion to my manager to have one on hand for guess
I was a very nice stay. Courtyards aren't usually top tier so that's why I gave it 4 stars however it was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool was freezing cold and really needs a heater and the whirlpool had far too much chlorine which made me feel a little sick after use.
Great value for the cost. Not many dining options nearby, but Wawa across street offers a surprising variety of healthier grab-and-go options.
Air conditioning made alot of noise. Called down to let the conceriege know that there was no remote in the room and nothing was done.
Good food at bar. Breakfast was mediocre. Reception excellent.
Location Rooms smelled bad. Bed sheet comfort cover is outdated
The only thing nice about this hotel was the pool. Large and heated. We reserved a 2 room suite. The hotel did not have this to offer. We were given a single room with two beds at the same price. Room did not have a mini fridge, there was a spot for one. Lights were missing bulbs. Shower felt like you were going to fall through to the floor below. Continental breakfast was only cereal.
When I checked into the hotel I gave the front desk my debit card to keep on file for incidentals. I pre-paid for the hotel a month in advance of my trip so I should not have charged at all. Not only was my card wrongfully charged, it was charged 5 times! Resulting in over $1000 in charges and overdrew my checking account. This would have all been okay had the hotel taken responsibility, apologized, or offered to help me fix it. Instead they were very defensive, immediately said that they did nothing wrong and claimed that it must have been a problem with my bank. However, I just so happened to overhear another customer talking on the phone about the same thing happening to her. I asked to her to go to the front desk with me to confront them. Obviously we had two different banks so our bank was not the problem. The man at the front desk was very rude. He kept telling me not to worry about it and it wasn't a problem. My money was gone! of course it was a problem. Also, he still insisted that it wasn't their system causing the problem. He said "2 customers of 400 had this problem so its not likely it is our system". It wasn't until I checked out that someone finally admitted that they messed up. They then decided to tell me that they have a new system and are still getting used to it. Had they just told me this from the beginning I would have understood and been less upset. The problem is fixed now but the fact that they were so rude will stick with me forever. I will never choose to stay at a Hilton again.
There wasn't much not to like about this place. It had a wonderful atmosphere, luxurious comfort and state of the art facilities. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The one thing I didn't like was that parking wasn't included.
I absolutely love the view from our window. I didn't like that the room didn't have a small fridge or microwave.
The unprofessionalism of staff.
Good Central NJ location at the junction of Route 18 and NJ Turnpike. 10 Minutes from Rutgers University in good traffic. Solid for business travel. Clean rooms. No frills here. Hotel rooms need serious update and makeover. Old furniture with chips in them. Lamps with electrical shorts. No mini-bar; no bottled water in the room.
I loved the welcome chocolate chip cookies. That was absolutely such a wonderful thank you for staying at our hotel. Everyone was very courteous and there was a wedding party staying there also. Definitely a wonderful experience and will definitely stay again! Kaelynn was super accommodating to my parents whom both walk with canes! Their room was close to the elevator as I requested. Just a welcoming staff!
Room was available when we arrived, clean and comfortable Decor needs updating including bed and heating system
Very clean, 15 min drive to the beach, nice pool, right off the highway. All outside/back/side doors leading into the hotel are open at all times of the day and night and where they have it set to be keycard access only its always unlocked and open anyone can walk in, which made me a little nervous.
Staff was friendly and quiet hotel N/A
Staff ... from beginning to end ... made a full and successful effort to make sure the room, the stay and all else was excellent. Truly outstanding ... way beyond what I expected.
The hotel rooms were very clean and updated. Bed was super comfy. I also liked the fact we had a small balcony to let some fresh air in. Nothing !
Friendly staff. Large rooms with great view. Walls must be thin and doors slam shut which woke me up at 3:00am!
The location is excellent. The riverside view is outstanding. The staff is friendly, helpful and available. This is a small hotel, perfect for a quick get-away. Walls are paper-thin.
beautiful view. nice comfortable bed. extremely noisy and intrusive housekeeping staff at all hours.
Close to the beach and boardwalk Floors are thin. Was constantly woken up during the middle of the night
The design of the hotel is beautiful. Fells very west coast and has great access to the beach. Rooms are really small and do not have anything like, coffee machine, fridge, or microwave. Also no adjoining rooms in the hotel.
1. Location. 2. Decor 3. Cleanliness 4. Friendliness of staff 5. Size of bathroom 6. The rooftop lounge: Gorgeous views over the entire city. It's nice that there is a separate entrance than the hotel to get to the lounge. 1. The room decor looked like it was Ikea. Clean lines, but looked cheap. 2. Poor design of shower. Nice big bathroom. I liked the tile. Note that my bathroom had a standup shower, not a tub (I'm not sure of all rooms though). The water from the showerheard must have exceeded the drains ability to drain, because by the time I was done, the towel I placed on the floor was soaked!!! Not moist but soaked. The threshold may not have had enough heights. 3. I was in my room until sometime in afternoon. The cleaning people knocked and said I wasn't ready, but they never came back. Not that I'm particulary smelly so it didn't matter much, but it would have been nice to have come back to a made bed.
Really enjoyed the nightly live music events in the lobby/bar area! The hotel is also about 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Asbury Park, where there are some great little restaurants and bars. Just an excellent location. The rooms have a very "college" vibe, but are bright, homey, and comfortable. You can also order food delivered directly to your room from a local place called JR's, which has a large menu and pretty good food.
Location was excellent - hotel bar, lounge areas, entertainment options and pool, etc. were great. Our room was on the small side and was missing basic things like a coffee maker. I like the modern look, but the room wasn't upscale modern, it felt very ikea modern. So for the week-day rate/deal I got, it was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay any more for the room we had.
Overall it was very pretty pleasant but they did not come for room service and some of the furniture is a bit worn however it was clean
The free breakfast buffet was great and also the BBQs were nice to be able to use as well Only complaint was that the beds weren't very comfortable
The price Was a little noisy at night. Sounded like the plumbing
-Bed and pillows were most likely the most comfortable I have ever slept on. -Staff was super friendly -Fridge and microwave in the room -Free Breakfast everyday -Clean room -Nice flat-screen TV -Lack of TV channels unless you like HSN or foreign TV -Would have liked some more selections for breakfast but hey it was free can't beat that. -Pool and hot tub should be open later.
The room smelled mildewy.
Got bit by something. Probably a bed bug
Good hotel, I'll stay there again. Pool is closed too early and breakfast could be little bit longer too
Room was wonderful and very clean. Staff at the front desk were extra friendly.
After stepping into the room, I immediately checked the bed to see if the sheets were changed / crease free, and they were, though I was afraid to touch the blanket. The TV works well. Refrigerator in room. The room has a hardwood floor, the tub has a dirt ring around it, the lampshades are cracked and dusty, and the bed makes A LOT of noise. I was appalled to see a hotel room with a hardwood floor. The floor becomes very cold at night. After turning all three lamps on, the room lighting was still very dim. If it wasn't for the bright TV coupled with the lamps it would have been difficult to see particular items in the room. The hallway had a strange subtle smell to it. The water pressure in the tub was decent, except both the water in the tub and bathroom sink took a while to empty. The night front desk staff member looked like he was straight out of prison. I've never stayed at hotel where I've been forced to sign a contract.
The rooms smells humid, we checked 3 before deciding on the least smeally one.
1) When we entered the room the A/C was on. We tried to increase the temp at the thermostat. The temp outside was in the 40s. Setting the thermostat at 84 didn't change the temp of the air coming out of the A/C unit. We mentioned this to the clerk at the registration desk. She asked someone to check it for us. Someone came up. We explained the situation to her. She looked at the thermostat, shrugged her shoulders and left without doing anything. 2) For dinner they didn't provide any napkins or silverware. We needed to ask for it. 3) For breakfast they directed us to the buffet. We asked for a menu and ordered off that as it was substantially cheaper.
Great location about 30 mins from two airports The restaurant is pretty good Very clean and nice rooms One of the staff at the front desk was too nonchalant. Asked him for towels and he called it in but they weren't there when we got back. They didn't give us towels after the first day then took too long to get them to us once I called.
I was overall impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very accommodating with my needs, Hotel room was spotless, parking was easy, Definitely coming back here. When booking my hotel room I was under the impression the breakfast would be included. When entering the restaurant they wanted to charge $16.00 per person. 0.8 miles away I went to prestige diner for half the cost.
Location It took 25-minutes to check-in, the girl didn't know what she was doing. She held my drivers license and credit card for 20-min., then asked me for the 3rd time what my name was. Still waiting for wake-up call that never came. Workers noise started 3:45am

The front desk could be friendlier
nice room, the pool and workout room was very nice the hallways need redecorating, they looked dingy
They told me by phone that was OK to be in the same room with my 4 kids ages 13, 10, 1 1/2 & 3 months old. and when I came with my credit card to the front desk they start charging me extra money for 2 of my children. I really disappointed with them.
Staff was very helpful and polite No. Had an excellent stay.
nice staff, gave us a nice room

It was clean Room is out dated. Furniture and bathroo was from the 1980s
friendly staff and room was spacious and clean Hallway carpets and room carpets were very stained
The location. Yes! The ice bucket was filled with some liquid. There was still items in the fridge. No tissues. One mini soap for both the sink and shower. Two towels, only 1-wash cloth. Phone cord was jammed under night stand sticking out,I fell. Dirty hallways
