The breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh. The room was mice on first night. Housekeeping brought us clean towels only and did not Service our room for two days out of our four day stay. When the housekeepers did clean our room, it was very sloppy cleaning. Staff made me uncomfortable, they were always watching us....i was hoping it was not a black thing.
noise of the freway olso noise air conditioner not a pleasnt
Staff were very pleasant Could have been cleaner; too many people coming and going (very loudly) all night long.
Very convenient, good room atmosphere and mostly clean.
5 min from where I had to be since I only had 4hrs to sleep so price was right Dirty and no blankets. Only a sheet to cover up with. Tweakers everywhere
Bad Wi-fi condition, breakfast with minimum menu. If you are looking for relatively cheap accommodation, it's fine, but I still think I overpaid.
Close to the downtown area. Within a few minutes walk to ballpark, arena, and convention center
The room was clean but had no wastebaskets. Toiletries provided were lotion, lotion and conditioner. The plumbing produced lots of noise when I or the room next door tried to take a shower, and the water was only lukewarm. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other Super 8s I have stayed at.
The room was supposed to be smoke free, but reeked of smoke including bedding, towels, etc and the smoke alarm had the battery removed. The place was so dirty I had to was off the light switch and the phone before touching either. I asked for a different room, the manager told me no, I checked out one hour later because I couldn't breathe in all the smoke.
Staff was friendly. This was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. The carpets, doors, comforter, even one of the towels were dirty! The continental breakfast was a joke, and there were only 3 tables with hardly enough room for 6 people to be in there at a time. The neighborhood wasn't very nice, but I was trying to find something cheap within walking distance of the convention center. I walked it, but it was a bit of a hike. You get what you pay for, and at least I didn't pay much.
Our overall stay was decent. Quiet, never any interruptions. What I didn't care for, the pool was absolutely disgusting. After taking a shower, we discovered our feet were dirty. We discovered it was the carpet making our feet black! Also dropped some jewelry between the bed and night stand, reached down to grab it and pulled back a handful of what appeared to be cookie crumbles..upon further review there was tons of food crumbs, some hair accessories and other items, that were not ours.
Heather deserves a raise for all she puts up with.
Being able to sleep in bed thats it Everything it was horrible we first got there and the worker gave us room number 222. We get to the room and its horrible its a mess all over has not been clean and it had needles u can tell drug users where in the room. so we went back to front desk to complain and all he said was oh okay I'll have someone clean it and we are like no we want a new room all together and the guy gets attitude but gives a room. Also the pool was empty, ac barley worked and the towels were dirty. And the cable on had 10 channels. Worst hotel experience ever!!! WARNING DO NOT GO!!!
Not a thing. The first room was completely trashed and still had smoke hanging in the air of the non-smoking room. The second room was at least mostly made up, minus dirty towels still in the room. It was however sketchier than places I slept in while serving in Iraq... I chose to sleep in my sleeping bag on top of the bedding due to the stains on the "Clean" sheets. Service was terrible and I watched two drug deals go down in front of the room across from me while I was unloading my stuff from the bike.
When I arrived at the hotel, it looked decent on the outside. I have already booked a room a few weeks in advance for the convention that we were going to. Once I entered the room, it was okay. There were a few spots that weren't as cleaned as I thought but just ignored it. Then, the next few days, I noticed from the sink and in the bathroom there were a few ants crawling with an addition of a small cockroach in one of the furniture pieces. In order for us to be a little more comfortable, we bought raid and sprayed it around the edges of the room (which did help). The one good thing about the hotel is the location from the convention, which was 5 minutes away from where we were staying. I did pay pretty cheap for it so I guess in a way this is an example of you get what you pay for. The staff was pretty nice though as well.
The bang for buck. Detergent used for towels. Very dingy
The price and location fit with was I was going to do in the area Room is worn down but could not complain since i was not expecting no 5 star room for $26 which is a good price.
Staff was great. Location. Which isn't the staff fault
Nothing to like. Bed was lousy and place was creepy. I would not recommend it to any person for any reason. It's not worth staying there, even at the bargain I paid. I would rather pay the extra $10 a night somewhere else.
The fact they had a pool. This place is disgusting. Burn holes on bedding of a "nonsmoking" room, dirty towels meant to shower the size of a hand towel, lights didn't work, carpet ripping off the edges, flies EVERYWHERE, things broken left and right... After less than 3 hours we decided we couldn't stay, and ate the $36 and LEFT. Spend the $10-20 extra and go down the street.
Disgusting and dirty. Drug addicts walking around. Homeless people sleeping in the laundry room
Closeness to the airport. Very dirty. Very rundown. Extremely dodgy people walking around the hotel at all hours of the night. Loud from the passing interstate. Lots of places where your car might be rocked. Women of loose morals knocking on the door very late and offering their services. Stay away!
The room was a complete DUMP! Ripped chair, and old rotten food in the refrigerator. I was afraid for my life, and that I would wake up and my car would be gone...
The lady at the reception desk when we checked in was fantastic, very sweet and super helpful. She is the only reason we stayed in this disgusting motel and didn't immediately go back to Flagstaff. We would have been a lot more upset and probably would have left demanding our money back had she not been so kind to us. The lady who worked the evening of March 15, 2015 deserves a raise! The lady when we checked out was also nice but was unprofessional and more concerned with what was on her phone. Overall, we did get what we paid for I suppose. The location was super convienent, it was 10 min or less away from everything we wanted to do. Just glad we only stayed for one night. I will also admit that the bbqs by the pool are a genius idea! A familiy staying there was bbq-ing up a storm and it smelt AMAZING. haha The hotel resturaunt was also actually really nice! The room was disgusting. Utterly disgusting. Cheetos stuck to the carpet, all of the trash cans full, all the towels were damp, no toilet paper, used soaps, dirty mirrors and counter tops, smelt like dog pee, cigarette burns in the sheet/bed, beds were super questionable, pillows smelt mildewy, and only half of the outlets worked. We ended up using our clothes for pillows and ended up sleeping on top of the comforter just because we didn't want to sleep inside. The most staff seemed overworked and underpaid. The rest seemed lazy. And by internet they do not mean WiFi, they mean a tiny computer from the 80s in the lobby... That may or may not work.
Expedia either screwed up booking or they overbooked and we got screwed. Booked a room 3 months in advance and they were not helpful at all
Decent deal clean good price hot water . Not bad , not 5 star but it was 36$ tax included so
It was cheap and staff were friendly. There were a lot of lingering people at all hours. Someone called our room at 1 am. The second night someone knocked on our door after midnight. Overall, a very sketchy place.
Nothing First, when I went to go check in the clerk made me wait for like 10minutes while she counted her drawer. Then she received a phone call and was helping the person on the phone while I just stood there. No apologies or acknowledgement afterwards. Second, the facility sucks. Lastly, at night I went to dinner with friends when I returned there were bikers cover the entry way, there people out fighting and smoking. My friends feared for me staying there by myself so I ended staying at their airBnB. I am currently on my way back to motel to get my stuff and run out of there.
nothing dirty sheets, crappy pillows - you had to dodeg the pimps and drug dealers to go to and from your room
Price Close to the airport Almost all of the surfaces were sticky! Stains on the pillow cover. Noise of the adjacent highway! Noise of the 18 wheelers that park there. Homeless people around there.
It's close to where I'm going The location is creepy
Very friendly staff and security. Very shady-looking people hanging out around the motel at all hours of the night. Not a good neighborhood. The room did not have a fridge to keep your food/drink cold.
friendly staff, rooms are fine. Two great queensize beds! They do not have breakfast, but denny's is just around the corner!
The price and location were perfect for my needs. Yes, the swimming pooll did not open until 9:00am each morning. This is summer time for goodness saks...kids and adults, myself included would like to be able to get access to the pool earlier than that!
I liked nothing Room smelt of Marijuana, no hot water, was charged $112 extra for no reason. Front desk person lied to us.
close to where I needed to be no breakfast
Location was okay and convenient. several loitering from people in the area, Loud announcements over the intercomm telling individuals to leave the premises or police will be called. Pool was filled with debris, no stairs located in the back area, top blankets were wrinkled not clean
Nothing Opening the door with two teenage girls and the room smelling like marijuana !!!
Nothing WAY overpriced!!!!
Location Beds were OK but not the greatest.
Room not ready at check in time. Booked double bed but was given single bed. My two teenage kids and myself and my husband had to sleep in one bed. Worst hotel experience ever !
room was clean and new curtains beautiful carpet pool was super clean. nice micro wave and refrig.
The staff was very nice. I spoke to a Hotel Employee because we were going to be after 6pm to check in and he told me it was not a problem he would note the reservation. When we finally arrived the girl at the counter checked us in quickly and got us Its not in a good area. I was not familiar with the area at all when I booked the room.

I was not robbed, burgled, assaulted, battered, or killed. SO that was nice. The door having been kicked in, and the lock not functioning. Cigarette burns in the sheets. The rooms (we moved) smelled like smoke. There was a crackhead next door. Just about everything that could suck did, and to the maximum extent possible.
The way that the room looked. The rooms were a little too small for me.
Stayed 2 nights. Our room faced freeway which seemed too loud till I realized the window was open. Room was clean but the bed looked rumpled. Nice shower in clean bathroom. Room equipped with microwave, small fridge and iron. Very good breakfast with fruit, fresh waffles, sweet rolls, muffins, toast, cerel, juice, coffee & milk. Staff we quick to restock items. Didn't have time to try the small pool or hottub. Slept well and good deal for a last minute booking on a busy weekend. Hallway smelled like smoke. A bit awkward to fnd. Sat night was noisy with people slamming doors and talking till after midnight.
We requested a non-smoking room, but we got a room that smelled with cigarrete.
room was OK was only there to sleep and shower neighborhood was bit scary would not stay there again for that reason only other then that was good
The location was what I wanted. The room seemed, clean but the smell was terrible.
The a/c worked great. And the cable tv was nice. Well where do i start....they advertise the wrong price of the room on their invite sign...way overpriced, people hanging out wondering around. Random. Almost everyperson i walked by asked me for drugs or let me know they have them for sale. Slept good, woke up to eat breakfast they have set out. NO MILK! ASKED FOR MORE THEY SAID NO. Wouldnt stay agian.
It was a nonsmoking room that smelled like smoke. The towels were stained. The room should be repainted.
Good location to get around Phoenix. Friendly staff in the front office. Breakfast was good. Beds not very comfortable. Room carpets somewhat dirty.
The staff were friendly was told free breakfast however they only make one batch of waffle mix and told us they always run out. we werent able to eat any o n alll the days we were there. also one day a customer said he had the last waffle but there was No syrup they were out. We got a NON smoking room and it reaked of smoke and the smoke came through the bathrooo from somewhere else, the bathtub had peeling hole in it and cracks, it was very dirty walls, doors tub. We asked for extra blankets and they ONLY could find one they told us. We asked for the bottom floor and were given one upstairs with me having scoliosis and I told them and still they didn't accomodate that. the carpets can be cleaned were old with stains. Only 2 towels were given, the toilette had issues and even backed up they came and plunged it and used a snake on it. and then left with yucky water dripping on the floor and toilette, I had to clean that as well. We asked for a room with 2 beds and were only given a room with one bed, but the kids slept on the floor.
Our was booked right next to a pimp. He had women come to his door all night long. We got little rest. The Motel was very restless. One electrical plug in for one of the lamps was broken. It worked intermittently. We would never stay there again.
Studio rooms have full-size refrigerator, microwave and cooktop. Hotel has bed bugs!! Doors/Walls are thin so there is a lot of noise. Pillows/Comforter/Mattress are uncomfortable. Hotel does not provide shampoo/conditioner, only poor quality bar soap. Towels were small and rough.
This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. The room was full of bugs and had holes in the walls that the people in the next room could see through. It was about 140 degrees and the Aircon did not work. There were nasty prostitutes and crackheads lurking outside the rooms and the management were rude and refused a refund when I walked straight out and went to a better hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Room was fairly clean, and a McDonalds was within walking distance. When I arrived, Juan at the desk said the credit card I used to book the room online was declined, even though I had been using it all day purchasing gas on the road. He said he'd run it again and then told me it was still declined. I called my credit union while in the lobby and they told me, there was no record of either transaction, just the gas and other items I'd put on the card, and there was no reason for the card to be declined. I told my credit union I'd go ahead and pay cash. When I asked for a receipt for the room, I was told they would bring it to my room later. Three hours later I asked Juan again and he said the system was still down. I asked if I could just get something in writing to prove I paid. He said he'd put the receipt under the door later. I told him thank you that I needed the receipt to get reimbursed. I never got the receipt and I had to leave at 4:00 AM. It felt like a scam to me, to pocket the rent. The TV was disconnected, with the AC, it took most of the night to get the room cool enough to sleep.
It doesn't cost that much to get blankets, sheets, and pillowcases that don't have holes in them. That would have significantly improved my stay. My bathroom has recently been redone, but the bedding is what made it a 1 star in most categories.
Very rude racist lady at the front desk called me all types of Niger's Nothing about this place
Television didnt work, no running hot water fairly clean
There was no hot water. Homeless people hang out being for money. The towels had stains on them. The sheets had stains on them. The staff is very rude and if you complain they tell you leave or they will call the police and will not refund you your money. This is a one night stay if your desperate and have very little money for a hotel
Shower fixture not attached to wall, hanging down. Grout in wall tile is mildewed. Poor repair evident. Cleanliness lacking. I decided to NOT shower.
Free soap? Nothing worked. The fridge didn't work, the location was terrible, the trash was run at 4 AM right outside my bedroom, my keycard kept getting erased so I'd have to wait in the long lines just to get back into my room. How they handled room payments (I rented the room ahead of time, but they didn't take the money until I stayed.) I'm lucky I rented online through a travel website; I would have been very upset had I paid the $100+ they were charging. It certainly wasn't even close to worth $100 a night.
I liked the location. There were many businesses and restaurants very close by.
The room was n ice and clean, and the location was very convenient. Plenty of restaurants nearby and easy to get to from the freeway.
Price They offer wifi with a charge but it never worked and their business center was out of service
The cute black girl at the front desk. It took an hour to get internet after paying $7 for it.
We stayed at the Inn for a week. Staff was friendly and informative. Nice pool although the weather was a little too cool to jump in. We wanted a safe and comfortable place to sleep and that is what we had. We would stay there again. It has been about 8 year since we had been in Phoenix and sadly, the MetroCenter area seems to be a bit run down. More homeless than I had remembered and I'm sorry to see the condition of the area deteriorating. Not the hotel's fault but location could scare some people off.
I liked that I had shelter I didn't like the burn holes in my cover the weird leakage when I flushed or washed my hands
Filthy dirty motel. Not worth the price. The motel is a hangout for criminals, drug addicts and prostitutes. Rooms that were supposed to be non-smoking reeked of stale tabacco odors. Horrible hotel. Swat squad with subscribe guns were active on the premises.
Nothing . I liked nothing about this place . Roaches alive and dead all over it was so nasty within two minutes of being in the room I regathering my shit and left . Nastiest place I've ever thought about staying . Renting to the drug locals and didn't feel safe at all . Just nasty ... Stay away from here Roaches , the other people staying , noise , toilets stained and sink stained . And live and dead roaches everywhere . Disgusting ... Immediately left and found another motel to stay in .
Proximity to Fry Bread House restaurant. Really shady part of town and sketchy people. They advertise WiFi, but it costs extra. I worried about the security of my car and it was loud.
The price for one night is unbeatable. The room was nice. Very modern. And the lighting was absolutely amazing. Perfect mirror to take selfies in. I have never delt with such horrible customer service. CeeCee from front desk was extremely rude and had no sense of customer service.
Checking in was a complete nightmare. After we checked in we couldn't access our room till it was cleaned. Finally went to our room only to find someone had been given our room. Given another room and that one looked as if someone had been murdered in our room. Box spring has huge blood stain that didn't look that old. Drug deals, homeless people, prostitues, gun shots. Absolutely horrible and I have no clue how they are even open. Worst hotel ever!!
Liked the location, room size, price and customer service DID NOT like bugs and roaches in the room, had to get my own bug spray, fees for WIFI, no breakfast included
Price was right. Area seemed safe. Staff was friendly. The room was advertised to have a small refrigerator ad micowave. The room did not have either.
Nothing, this was the 'Top 3' worst Hotels I have ever stayed at and I have been traveling full time for almost 30 years! Dirty, phone never worked, refridge did not work, smoke detector was disconnected, TV didn't work, Wi-Fi was the slowest ever. This was one of the dirties hotels that I have ever checked into. Took 2 days to fix all of the various items in the room
Not a damn thing The room was sold to me as having a microwave and a refrigerator it did not have either. They said they had internet, you could get it out in the parking lot but not in the room. There was not remote for the TV, the TV was old and you could bearly pix
Nothing Everything! It was dirty and all around nasty. My son was scared to even pee! The hospitality was ridiculous! I asked for a manager and was told no that he wasn't available I asked when he would be and she ignored my question over and over! And no refund!
Horrible do not stay here No absolute horrible
The exterior walls were thick and solid and it muffled the sound of the gunshots. The rooms were not to bad. Lost or reservations, has to argue to get them to honor the agreed upon price. No room service for 3 days ran out of toilet paper, soap and shampoo. Crack pipes in the parking lot and drug dealers everywhere. Pool was filthy. No working AC or microwave
nothing when I made the reservation I was told I`ll have a refrigerator and micro wave oven, nothing was true not even have toilet paper so you better stop sending adds of any kind to my mail box
Nothing It was all dirty

Down home 1960's Motel. Auto parking in front of room. Inexpensive, quiet, and charming and helpful staff, I will return next time in Chandler. out side light didn't work, had to request simple things that should be in the room, wash cloth, shower mat, coat hangers.
No desk. No security lock inside room. No lighted parking.
