Friendly rental employees, nice car, great deal!

Cons:

Was not offered to prepay for gas. Other than that, everything was great!

Pros:

Staff was nice. Process was quick. Car was good. I was 15 minutes late dropping off my car. They gave me a chance to fill the gas and bring it back with no extra charge. I really appreciate that.

Cons:

Wish the car is a little extra clean. It wasn’t bad. I wore gloves just to be extra cautious.

Pros:

I arrived a few minutes before the time for which I had made my reservation. I waited outside because of Covid regulations, but an employee definitely saw me waiting. A few minutes later, at noon, the staff walked out, locked the door, told me they were closed and that I was too late. They were dismissive and very rude. They seemed to find my situation funny. I ended up walking to another car rental company. After two or three phone calls over a couple of days, and quite some time on hold, I was able to get my money refunded by Hertz. The customer service people I spoke to on the phone were generally helpful and polite.

Cons:

The reservation app shouldn’t allow people to make reservations close to closing time. I didn’t know, but the app should have told me to arrive earlier when I made the reservation. Employees on site should be trained to be helpful and polite. I will not use that Hertz office again, and I will not recommend it.

Maybe you could have provided the car I reserved instead of me waking up at 5 in the morning, driving to the airport, waiting in line, and your employee saying "Uh, sorry, we don't have your car".
