location and the breakfast was good
pillows were lumpy and small. Towels were dingy and dirty looking wash cloth.
We only spent one night here but were very pleased. The room, including furniture, bedding, bathroom and sink area was very clean and in good repair. It even smelled fresh and clean! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The friendly employees
The carpeting, TV, etc. were all quite dated. The TVs were all the old-style CRT type and the color was terrible. Ours had a green tint the entire time it was on. The continental breakfast was so-so at best. The next morning we ate at a local McD's.
Hot full breakfast, big room, easy parking, and perfect location for our stay.
Not really not like but there is a smoking pole in front of the non-smoking room. If someone smoking there, the non-smoking room can be 2nd-hand-smoking room.
The staff was friendly and helpful
It is an older hotel but the room was large and very clean.
Kids enjoyed the fresh made cookies the staff baked that afternoon.
Parking lot was in need of repairs as the concrete was broken up in many places.
Since I work in Heber Springs, and live 50 miles away, I occasionally get snow bound. I have stayed in several hotels in Heber Springs, and this is the best hotel to stay in if you need a nice clean place to sleep. The rooms are not fancy, but clean and neat. They provide free breakfast (eggs, bagels, oatmeal, fruit-etc). It is located close to the lake and places to eat and shop.
The service was very good. Everyone who worked there is very nice. Had a great time there.
a '60's style motel, with outside covered walkways to all rooms in well maintained condition. 4 of us stayed on a house-hunting trip in june 2008. place was clean and staff was helpful and polite. rates were reasonable. we didn't need amenities, just reasonable, clean sleeping quarters. we are planning another trip to the area and expect to stat there this year; 2009.
