Pros: The staff was extremely helpful, and very friendly. It seems like they did everything they could to help us get into an available car that they had.
Cons: I had rented a large seven person van through the kayak website, unfortunately they did not have a large seven passenger van. We had to cram every piece of luggage that we had into a five person station wagon. It was a bit tight. I don’t know if I blame kayak, or the Hertz rental place.

Friendly and informative service at pick up.
Pros: We received an upgrade. The car was big, comfortable, and yet it was economic to drive.

No key dropoff
Pros: The price and the car were great.
Cons: Hertz was the only rental company at the rental car center without a key drop, so after my family hoofed our luggage to the bus stop, I still had to run back to the car rental center office and drop off the key. Even there, they didn’t have a key drop, so I wasn’t sure if I had to wait in line or if I could just hand them the key over the counter, while other customers were checking in. When I got back to the bus, the shuttle was gone. A small, unnecessary hassle.

Got a bigger car
Pros: I have booked the Mini category abut Hertz run out of them so I have received a very nice Volvo v60 which was phenomenal. This was obviously a lucky scenario, however the friendliness of the staff and the fast service was excellent - even without the fancy car.
Cons: That I have to return it.

Great car for what we needed
Pros: Great vehicle and convenient pick up and drop off.
Cons: Was not informed about additional charges such as winter tires and Hertz taking a cut of the Oresund Bridge pass.

Poor customer service
Pros: The car size was good.
Cons: Car had poor tire quialty where I had to keep putting air. Then next morning got flat tire and I had to spend money from my own pocket to buy a new tire and have it installed. Wasted time and money. I called and I was promised to be called by the service supervisor and nobody contacted me period. Therefore I'm not too happy about it even when they replaced the car. They had to charge me for it.

Car and hertz was great
Pros: Better car than I had ordered. Counter people were nice. However Hertz had the parking at the far end of the lot for pick up
Cons: Drop off signage was poor, that is the city’s fault. I almost parked it back in the structure I took it from and had to backup into the road and drove around until I found the drop off was across the street. Once I turned into the area another sign was not posted to turn right to drop off. Instead I turned left and had to go around again. I think a map on the back of the rental agreement would help. I would probably use again.
