Specifically chose Hertz based on car availability and booked BMW X2 model. After very long wait time at the counter, I was offered only two choices: Toyota Corolla Hybrid and another electric car. When I pointed out that I booked a "luxury" class, the clerk tried convincing me that the cars were the same. Since I prepaid my rental in full, I was told that it's impossible fr the agency to amend the charges to the lower rate that matches the car class of Corolla. Disappointed with bait and switch tactics and totally unexpected from Hertz.Reviewed May 11 2022

Car damagePros:Car was great! Clean and very modern with all the latest security features.Cons:At the pick up station they didn't check the car for damage. The place was dark and I didn't realize that it had a huge scratch. I had a hard time explaining the whole situation at the drop off location and had a lot of stress on my first vacation day due to that.Reviewed Jun 8 2017
