Cons:The staff did not honor my reservation. Ruining my trip, they waited until pickup time to let me know that they had no cars available and that if a car were to become available that they would not honor my booking price.
Pros:Received a Ford Expedition- HUGE and enough room for the entire group. LEX airport is easy and quick with pick up and drop off.
Cons:car smelled like roasted almonds, good thing I am not allergic
Cons:very poor experience, call me if you really want to know. Hertz is most likely done in my book.

Cons:we reserved our car through this site, which eventually went through priceline. we paid for our car when we reserved it. two weeks later, we go to pick up the car at 6pm, the scheduled pick up time on our itinerary, and the location we had selected was closed. Their store hours had them closing at 6pm, the same time as our pickup time. i call Hertz to get it sorted out and asked for a similar car at a different location 4 miles from where i had reserved this pickup. long story short, they say they cannot honor the price of the original reservation at the other location and the new price at the other location will be 500$ plus as opposed to the 190$ we had already paid for our original reservation. after 5 calls and countless transfers, and re-explaining the situation to each new person who spoke with us, we were eventually told there is nothing they can do about it and offered a refund for the original reservation. we didn't lose any money, but we lost several hours on the phone and ended up having to drive our own car for the 1700 mile trip. I've never been more frustrated with a service as I was with Hertz. I'll never rent from them again.
Pros:Not a single thing! Even though the guy did smile the whole time showing he was a true jerk!
Cons:They stated it was booked thru a third party so they didn't have to honor the reservation. Then told me I could buy a plane ticket and be allowed the rental, so I buy a cheap flight, they again refuse saying I'm trying to defraud them!! I am still waiting on my refund& this has been over a week ago!!!
Pros:Car was nice - clean and ready at time of pickup.
Cons:Agent at pickup seemed offput that insurance was through third party (purchased through kayak) and wasn't very friendly. If they had ezpass in Lexington it wasn't offered.
Cons:I was not informed of all the additional fees until I got there. There were several cars in the same class and they gave me the worst one it seemed they had and asked if it was ok. What could I have said ? No that car is not what I want? I just went on with what they gave me. I was disappointed in the car I had to drive for a week and what I had to pay for it plus the additional fees!
Hertz did not have a rental vehicle available for me when I tried to pick up my vehicle. I had to wait 5 days to get a vehicle. That I had a reservation seemed to mean nothing to Hertz. Customer service staff tried to be nice but ultimately I was not helped.
Pros:At drop off in Hanford California the staff was very helpful and apologetic for the condition of the vehicle that I received from the pick up location in Kentucky.
Cons:The company in Kentucky where I rented the vehicle did not clean the vehicle, wash the dead bugs off the windshield, did not service the vehicle before I rented it. I had to replace the windshield wipers before I could drive it on vacation.
