Cons:We were charged a dropoff fee by Hertz. This was not listed in the booking and itinerary from Kayak. It ended up costing $100 more. I will be following up with Kayak to determine whether Hertz charged me incorrectly or whether Kayak mislead me by omitting this when I searched for and finalized the transaction. Either way, now I'm $100 out of pocket. Not happy and at this point, unless I get a better resolution or kayak provides a better explanation, I will not be using kayak.com again.
Pros:This whole process was very easy. I even got the vehicle I ask for, I received a brand new Honda Santa Fe. The service with Hertz was perfect. Kayak made my trip memorable.

Cons:Car had obviously been parked under a tree for quite some time as it had tree and bird dropping’s on it when I picked it up. Was also a white car which made that stand out even more.
Pros:The workers at the airport location were helpful with my second reservation.
Cons:Pick up location was different than expected and I spent a long time on the phone waiting for "customer service" which was lacking when I finally got through. I requested that my pre-paid reservation be transferred to the location I was at (and where I reserved my pick-up) only to be told that was not possible. I was expected to rent a taxi to get to a different pick up location further delaying my trip. The best outcome was a new reservation at $105 more than I had already paid. I still have not heard if the original reservation is being cancelled and credited. I hope to never use Hertz again.
Car was clean and reliable. Price was excellent. Hertz gave me what I needed.
