Pros:Cost was very reasonable for a nice vehicle. Nissan Rogue.
Cons:Counter rep’s attitude. No shuttle to and from airport

Cons:I had to rent a car last minute and there was no availability at Tampa airport. That was the one disappointment. We had to take a taxi about 20 minutes away.
Cons:First time using KAYAK. I thought I was renting at the airport. Turns out the facility was 10 miles away off the airport. It was NOT clear the car was offsite ( and I rent from HOTWIRE monthly which is MUCH clearer). As a result I had to take an UBER from the airport to the offsite to collect my car and an UBER from the offsite to the airport because the rental agent would not let me change the dropoff location without charging me a lot more money. He said the rental company and HERTZ were different companies. Hate KAYAK and HERTZ. Will never use again!! And car was dirty
Pros:Rental was cheap.
Cons:I booked through kayak and thought I was booking a rental at the tampa airport. While I'm sure an address was given that wasn't the airport, i had typed in the airport and assumed that was the result i was getting. Was very surprised when I got to the Hertz desk at the airport and was told there was no car for me but instead I had to take a half hour taxi drive to find my car. They were not helpful there, did nothing to even try and help out. While yes, I obviously messed up, from their reaction this happens a lot and you need to sort your situation out with online rental sites! If this is a common problem, figure something out to deal with it.
Pros:One staff member was nice. However, the two other people working were slow and lazy. Pick up and drop off took way longer than it should have, because the two men working the office did not care about their customers at all. The vehicle I rented was out of line and vibrated when going over 50 MPH. there were many rattling noise through the vehicle.
Pros:They did not have a car available even though I had a reservation. Customer service told me "too bad"
I put the pickup at Tampa international but rental was in Tampa but not at airport which caused a lot of issues for us traveling with a person in a wheelchair. This was bs as we had to lug her around that huge airport for an hour after a long day of traveling. Then we had to take a 100.00 taxi to the out skirts and barely got there in time before they closed. I think there should have been a warning that it was not the location I originally selected. I’m not from the area so when it said pickup is Tampa I just assumed it was what I had selected. Made for a lot of hassles for us
Pros:I was very appreciative that I got a car because they were hard to come by.
Cons:The car was not cleaned prior to me taking it. It also had small roaches in the center console, back seat, and door jams. My son had a roach on him while I was driving the car. I contacted Hertz customer service and the rep said to email customer service online. They responded and stated that I should have contacted emergency roadside assistance. Needless to say I got the run around. I will not use Hertz again and will not recommend them to others.
Pros:The original man I spoke with was rude and unprofessional. Fortuantely another employee eventually helped.
Cons:There was no notice that we did not have transportation to the pick up location! There was no phone number listed for the pick up location!
