Pros:I had to cancel my reservation and was bumped between priceline and hertz a total of 4 times. Each saying the other was responsible for cancelling. I still have not received a message confirming the cancellation and that I have not been charged. I know that this is an automated bank to receive feedback but here's hoping you care about your customers to investigate and respond.
Cons:I had deliberately called at the time of booking to confirm that the booking was for the SWISS side at Geneva airport. That was confirmed at the time while booking it was at the French side. I was forced to pay an extra of 400 Euros on the spot due to this.
Pros:I rented a ford fiesta but they upgraded me to a jeep renegade for free. The car was perfect and I hadn't troubles with it at all. The customer service was brilliant too. The young lady explained everything in detail and was very friendly keeping us at total ease. I would surely prefer Hertz again and suggest it to others too. Great work!

Cons:No windshield washer fluid, was a real problem driving in bad weather on the highway. I guess that's something I assumed would be there. Unfortunately, this is not the first time. Service not nearly as helpful as usual. In the past we have made an effort to rent from Hertz because of the extra effort they have made at this location. This time they made out the whole contract and we were about to sign when we noticed it was 300 € over our reservation price. Had to re-do. Price was already about 50% higher than what we usually pay at this location (Geneva airport, French sector) Also, we seemed to remember always getting snow tires in the winter as part of the standard package. Apparently not.

Cons:Drop off near the train station but all hertz office were closed. When i picked up the car i paid 481€ : 227€ rental 124€ car insurance 130 € refundable insurance No refund was given after drop-off
Cons:the price didn't include insurance at all and adding one more than doubled the price
Pros:Car was fine until we returned it.
Cons:Small mark on black alloy wheel - excess damage charge of > CHF 500. A so-called leader in car rental should be embarrassed to charge ludicrous amounts, which rip off car excess insurance policies (thank heavens we took one out from carhireexcess). The ability to forensically inspect cars at the time of collection, in poorly lit garages with cars parked in close proximity is challenging at best. In addition cars with black alloy wheels are even more challenging to inspect in poorly lit conditions. Of course the Hertz employees carry a torch - a learning for us all... Damage report was fundamentally incorrect. It stated rear wheel damage, when it was a front wheel. Will never hire with hertz again.
