Pros:Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons:Would like taxes to be up front, especially in high tax area like Palm Beach.
Pros:The car was ready for us upon arrival, was very clean, and the staff very friendly.
Cons:The price for a three day rental was a bit high
Pros:I couldn't believe how cheap my one way rental was. Kayak and Hertz came through big time.

Cons:The customer service rep - Henry - in Palm Springs airport had an appalling attitude. We arrived for pick-up at 5:30am. He was at the counter but when we approached he did not greet me - just said "I'm not open. Come back at 6 o'clock!" We stood and waited half an hour watching him while he literally just hung about the counter waiting for the clock to say 6am! Then when we stepped forward he was so rude and asked inappropriate questions such as why did we want a mini-van - how many people were we planning to transport - and then commenting on how much luggage we must have - none of which was his business. He was very forceful trying to make us pre-purchase a tank of gas which we did not want. Then final straw - in the middle of serving us (after making us wait half an hour) he stopped to serve someone else making us wait even longer to get our keys. He does not represent Hertz well AT ALL. He needs training or replacement.
Short line-up compared to other companies, good person at the front desk and fast and easy return, Price is my only complaint but that is with all rental companies.
Pros:Staff was great! Helpful and polite.
Cons:Cleaned out the interior, palm springs airport rental car area need more space and organization.
The customer service rep was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I arrived to only be told that I would be charged an additional 800 dollars on top of what I already paid online. I felt like I was being scammed for more money. I ended up paying 450 usd more than my quoted priced online when booking and paying. I feel very taken advantage of. Will never book again through Kayak or through this company. Disgraceful service and they should be ashamed.
Pros:Dependable car, smooth ride
Cons:A/C was not very cold and the wheels or drive train made a howling sound at 60 mph and above.
Cons:the never lost feature was super annoying. if you did not want to use it still kept kicking on. even turned on when you were siting idle in the car every 15minutes.
