Bad counter staff bad attitude
Pros: Liked the car.
Cons: The customer service rep - Henry - in Palm Springs airport had an appalling attitude. We arrived for pick-up at 5:30am. He was at the counter but when we approached he did not greet me - just said "I'm not open. Come back at 6 o'clock!" We stood and waited half an hour watching him while he literally just hung about the counter waiting for the clock to say 6am! Then when we stepped forward he was so rude and asked inappropriate questions such as why did we want a mini-van - how many people were we planning to transport - and then commenting on how much luggage we must have - none of which was his business. He was very forceful trying to make us pre-purchase a tank of gas which we did not want. Then final straw - in the middle of serving us (after making us wait half an hour) he stopped to serve someone else making us wait even longer to get our keys. He does not represent Hertz well AT ALL. He needs training or replacement.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Would like taxes to be up front, especially in high tax area like Palm Beach.

Best Rental Experience
Pros: I rented a vehicle for my time in the Palm Springs/Joshua Tree area. The entire process was seamless from the pick up at the airport to the drop off before my return flight. Each person I interacted with from Hertz was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Lost and found
Pros: We left our laptop in the backseat at dropoff and because we had not left the airport, Hertz searched and found the laptop and returned it to us. Thanks
Cons: At pickup we were given the wrong parking lot number for our car and spent a lot of time finding our car. Thanks to the lot guy who found it for us.
