Cons:hidden "tax" for airport pickup (extra fee): $13.50 per day for extra driver which the manager told us he would reduce to $10 but instead charged $13.50 (does he think we're demented seniors? Final charges almost $500 for a small chevy cruz for 10 days which was driven less than 400 miles. Never again Hertz!

When I booked this car rental I had asked for an airport car rental, so when I got to the Hertz from the airport shuttle and was told I was at the wrong location and would need to take a taxi to other location, they called a taxi but after 30 minutes i got back on the shuttle and went back to airport and got a taxi from there. I would not have booked this through Kayak if I knew it would cost an additional $40 in taxi fares. I will never use Kayak again and am writing to Hertz about the way it is advertised on your website.

Cons:High rental rate . I asked for a Ford Fusion or Chrysler 200, got a Hundai. Substituted car not of equal value agent would not offer upgrade to available car I would like. This is a very poor value for the rental rate

Pros:The man working was very nice.
Cons:We ended up leaving with no car because they wouldn't take cash and needed us to have a $200 deposit to use our debit card which we didn't have. Very disappointed because I assumed paying for the car and insurance already on carrentals.com meant that we had already paid for our car rental fully.
