Cons: Nos retrasamos
Cons: Seat 14A had malfunctioning audio and the internet connection made it hard to stream
Pros: Good crew. Nice people.
Cons: Three hour delay waiting on gbe tarmac because of mutipple airline failures.
Cons: God bless America 🇺🇸🙏❤
Pros: This time NOTHING
Cons: Plane seats weren’t cleaned well. I wiped my chair, tray, window and wipe was all grey/brown dirty. Yuck! Very disappointing jetBlue. You used to be my favorite but no more. 2.5 hour of delay to pick someone special to board the plane. Ridiculous! 2.5 hour of delay and excuse was navigation not working you have to pick paperwork however picking paperwork took 1.5 hour? You think people will believe this while you get this special person to just walk in and board the plane on the (exit) seats 4 rows had been kept empty just for him. I demand my money back. Poor poor poor service JetBlue
Pros: Very comfy seating. Polite flight crew.
Cons: A cookie before landing I feel is a bit underwhelming. I preferred the warm bagel with cream cheese. Especially if you have to run off straight to work after landing. So maybe it sounds like a nit pick. But it would be nice to maybe have a choice of a cookie or bagel? Just a thought.
Pros: Great crew. Z and Antonio were great!
Cons: The breakfast meal.
Pros: Landed early
Cons: There were crumbs on my seat when I got there. The plane could not have been cleaned.
Cons: Better food.
Pros: The seats were comfortable and we were properly social distanced from each other.
Pros: Very helpful, very considerate.
Cons: Better ventilation, less announcements.
Pros: Staff was amazing
Pros: My flight was on time and arrived early.
Pros: JetBlue is always consistently good.
Pros: Got to sleep in
Cons: Stuck in more freezing temps
Pros: The flight was great, the crew was also great. We landed a half hour early which was even better! JetBlue has always been my favorite airline.
Pros: Friendly staff, informed during wait on runwayabout when /why take off delayed, quick exit.
Cons: It was All Good...
Cons: At least 3 distinct delays before takeoff. An absolute fiesta
Pros: The Jetblue lounge at JFK.. and the TV was pretty nice
Cons: To start, the plane was delayed due to inflight crew getting in late which is fine.. but our departure time never updated and the attendants were transparent but never mentioned a new time. After onboarding we got stuck on the tarmac due to traffic. Flight took off with turbulence to start and finally after 45 mins we got bottles of water. I asked crew if they would come around with more... I was starving and also have the perk of free alcoholic beverages in flight. I was offered neither and we only received chips 1+ hour into the flight. One of our TVs broke and the crew wasn’t helpful in an alternative... Overall worst Jetblue exp I’ve had to date, and I’ve flown with them a lot due to my Mosaic status..
Pros: Everything was perfect for me I will definitely fly with JetBlue again and recommend JetBlue to all my friends and family and more
Pros: Your staff
Cons: My tv did not work and I always get put in the back of the plane.
Cons: Flight from Boston to salt lake City was delayed by more than an hour
Pros: Every service is great
Cons: There is nothing not to like
Pros: Good set & personable staff
Cons: Delay in taking off
Cons: Was told to get off plane after two hours with our luggage and then eventually got on plane and then waited at least a half hour to take off. On arrival at our destination we had to wait until a gate was available. We arrived almost four hours later. I had to cancel and rearrange my appointments. I don't even recall hearing I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Some kind of compensation should have been provided. Some kind of
Pros: All went smoothly
Pros: I enjoy flying jetblue, I am usually comfortable and i is a pleasant experience. The last two times I have flown, the flight has been delayed by at least an hour and a half and there has been something wrong with the sound to the movies. This flight my movie was staticky and had to jiggle my headphones for it to work although sometimes it still happened. My seat this last flight also was broken and I was unable to put my seat back which caused some back discomfort.
Cons: I would choose jetblue again because of the other wonderful experiences I have had with you. The staff are usually very professional and courteous and the comfort is usually better than anyone else. Thanks.
Cons: I didn't like it at all, Jetbule should had find another airline to take me so I can arrive at around the same time , not just with the flights they offer but I should be able to get into another airline too
Cons: Plane delayed. Changed planes. Left my daughter who was in a wheelchair stranded. Get on new plane my screen to watch movies doesn’t work. No food. Loud people
Pros: Seating was fine, flight attendants were very nice. It was a short flight and everyone worked to be efficient about boarding once the plane was ready for boarding.
Cons: I wish the plane had come on time--the delay was inconvenient, although I understand sometimes the reason for delay can't be helped.
Pros: Due to weather we physically couldn't get to the airport on time. I am sooo glad you could get us on the next flight, and with seats together! NIIIICE!
Cons: Jet blue made me check my carry on, after I upgraded my seat , while other passengers had the same size bags and also had backpacks. That's all I had, what's the point paying for the right to board first if you have no bags. Bad job by uou guys
Pros: Flight attendants were very friendly, and the TV's were working on the flight (did not on the flight from FLL/EWR).
Cons: Booked this flight to get a ride home, and in time for dinner with family. Flight was delayed 50 min. because of a delay in the arrival of the plane (not weather). During boarding process they were allowing people to get up and move around before takeoff, delaying over another 10min. When we finally arrived at 9:10 to the gate, another plane was at the gate and we did not get into the gate until 9:25. Thus, by the time the flight arrived I needed to get other transportation, cost me $25 and additional 30min. waiting for ride. This resulted in getting me home almost 2 hours late. Additional feedback: I book an aisle seat because I like being able to lift the arm on the outside, not available on this flight. I don't recall the plug for the headphones being down so far in the arm rest, thus struggled to find the plug.
Pros: What did I like? Well, I liked arriving at my destination, though getting there on Jet Blue was unpleasant.
Cons: Stressful due to delays, disorganization, lack of communication, developing-world style of service.
Pros: We were able to get off the plane quickly
Cons: Did not like the flight being delayed for 45 minutes
Pros: The seats
Cons: The shotness of the crew and all the noise slamming around the compartments being slammed contnuously and angrily
Pros: The crew was friendly and helpful as usual. There was a fair amount of leg room and overall space.
Cons: One thing that has always made JetBlue stand out has been the customer service. I get pretty motion sick on flights, especially on an empty stomach, so the snacks and meals at mealtimes have always made this my favorite airline. There was none of that this time around. It feels like JetBlue is letting itself turn into just another commercial airline - over priced flights and amenities for overrated service and a lack of care for the consumer. Not to mention we were late
Pros: Love the free wifi. Plenty of room even in a regular middle seat. Nice to have a lavatory in the front of the plane for all to use.
Pros: gate staff were accomodating, flight landed on time.
Cons: Crew were rude and intimidating to a family with kids, including calling my wife a liar in front of them! Unconscionable. I thought JetBlue advertises unlimited snacks, but my daughter was told 'you've had enough' when she went for seconds. Our TV sets didn't work. Our baby spilled some chips and as the flight attendant passed he looked at us and said loudly 'I wonder who made this awful mess'.
Pros: I can’t say there was a single thing that I liked. I suppose if I had like something I would say the pizza I ate before my flight was pretty good.
Cons: I didn’t like that yet again, my flight (to PBI) was delayed for hours and then upon boarding and making it to the runway, was told that I would be getting back off the plane because we no longer had pilots. I think its good that there is a limit for the amount of hours pilots can fly but to leave an entire plane, the last flight out in particular, to have to wait an additional 2 hours to wait for new pilots is a little ridiculous to me. On top of that, I decide that I would rather go get a hotel than wait to fly out at 1am in the morning, I come to find that I will have to leave my checked bag on the plane and go to my hotel, in Boston, in 17° weather, without a coat or my toiletries, my phone charger....everything I would have needed went to PBI without me. Needless to say, this was by far my worst experience flying Jetblue. And to top it off, this was the second time this trip (flying out of PBI to Boston earlier left me delayed for 5 hours) that I felt like what I enjoy about Jetblue was not at all what I receieved. I understand that the holidays are a challeging and busy time for airlines, but it feels like PBi flights are by far the worst and that for some reason, Jetblue flights for PBI to Boston, and Boston to PBI are nightmares. Very disappointed.
Pros: Everything went very smoothly and quickly
Cons: Not enough wheel chairs, barely made flight, seating was more cramped than usual.
Pros: glad that there was small drink and snack offered despite such a short flight. i hadn't eaten dinner so was glad to have something in my stomache. especially travelling on a late night flight arriving in city i wasn't familar.
Cons: my seat was dirty with snack crumbs from previous passenger. I didn't have anything on me to brush off so had to use my own hand to do it. that was a bit disgusting.
Pros: Everything's my
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Cons: Good flight
Cons: With so many empty seats on the front. They decided to crunch everyone in the back without the minimal distance requested for social distancing. Very disappointed. Social distance is not practiced at AA as in Delta. Very sad. Will remember that next time I book a flight.
Cons: Our flight was delayed two hours. We arrived safe but still, the delay creates such an impact on traveler’s plans. AA didn’t even offer bonus miles.
Pros: Me rompieron el equipaje
Pros: Crew and service was solid given the covid restrictions.
Pros: First of I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Parnel at JFK airport. He was such a big help. And his customer service was excellent.
Cons: Flying is no thrill now.
Cons: Seats and screens, usb charging points
Pros: Good seat
Cons: Headset didn't work and no replacement
Pros: Dinner and boarding
Cons: Seats, noise and kids running, walking and CRAWLING in the aisles and lack of wifi and entertainment that I can choose, Also, the bathrooms ran out of paper and the crew was not attentive. They didn't do anything about the kids disruptive behavior and extremely load talking (reciting abc and counting). I asked if they could talk to the parents and they said no, the beverage service was not good as I couldn't get more water and the seats were awful! Why wasnt the wifi working? even if it worked I'd have to purchase it even tho it was an international flight. I will not fly American Airlines again!
Pros: Newer plane, wifi worked well, coffee good, not sure if it was on time, but it didn't matter to me. Friendly crew. Smooth flight.
Pros: We took off and landed safely.
Cons: Felt very low budget and cramped.
Pros: arrival to the destination
Cons: booking through kayak was a nightmare. they serve no purpose othan than to collect a fee and add zero value and provide no support after the transaction. it is pointless to use this service as no one at Kayak can help you after the purchase, and we all know airlines are useless when it comes fo customer service. never again! american airlines was even worse with their customer service when trying to get seat selections preserved when the airline was updated from British to American airlines. American airlines lied over the phone and was even more rude in person. JOKE
Pros: Despite getting no updates, our flight itinerary was changed from a 3.30pm flight to a 9.20pm flight. Unfortunately this was after landing from Milan at 1.30 with two small children so we had already had a very long day. We absolutely never would have booked this flight itinerary had we known of the change.
Cons: I am beyond stunned that our flight itinerary was changed from 3.30pm to 9.20pm with no notification. This is absolutely unreasonable and inexcusable made even worse that we had already had a very long journey from Milan to JFK with two small children. Evidently the issue was that we booked via a 3rd party off the kayak site and not directly with British airways. When American airways changed the flight from 3.30 to 3.25, the 3rd party company failed to file for our updated itinerary so British air/American air bumped us to the next flight at 9.20pm. We have long been loyal to kayak feeling it provides the best breadth of options and good pricing. Now we may use kayak to see all the options but I can’t booking directly with kayak anymore after this complete disaster. We ended up renting a car and driving from jfk to Boston, getting home 23 hours after our journey had started, stressed, beyond exhausted and now have to return the rental car. Thanks kayak.
Pros: Veggie Asian meal was great - curry.
Cons: Freezing cold air conditioning. Seven hours siting in a fridge. Asked stewardess to turn it up. She didn't.
Pros: The plane took off and landed on time. Because airlines have so games their system by setting expectations of on time arrival so low that it is nearly impossible to not exceed them.
Cons: The plane was so old the overhead lights didn’t work in our section (who failed to check that??). The overhead bins fell open at landing and things almost fell on people’s heads. There was subpar entertainment options that hadn’t been updated since at least the 90s, which was made even less acceptable since it was literally the only option for entertainment on a 7+ hour flight when none of the overhead lights worked. For a ticket that cost more than $1200, the failure of the airline on nearly all levels to provide standard services was completely unacceptable.
Pros: I needed special assistance due to limit of mobility and I have been refused assistance twice
Cons: On the top of that my luggage was damaged
Pros: Went on time and looked after very well
Cons: Going over leg room, a bit tight
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Bag checkin had already been done online but did it again in terminal, weigh in lady not helpful or friendly, quite abrupt. Onboard seating cramped and worse when front seats were reclined.
Pros: Smooth flight, got in early.
Cons: Breakfast was average. Could do better
Pros: Absolutely no part of the flight was comfortable or enjoyable.
Cons: The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good.
Cons: We left two hours after scheduled departure bc 1) the plane was late from prior flight and had to be cleaned, 2) engine check delayed the flight, 3) strong winds forced the airport (JFK) to use only one runway for departures and so on top of our plane delays we were delayed an extra half hour bc of airplane traffic. No entertainment onboard, meaning no screen on back of seat in front for movies, tv shows, etc. Food options were poor, especially breakfast (too much sugar content in all contents of “continental breakfast” pack.
Pros: The Flight Crew were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Business class, Boeing 767-300 The seating configuration was 1/2/1 I would give these seats on a scale from 1 to 10 a 5, this was a very basic B/C seat, without a TV screen integrated to the seat in front of you, instead the flight crew hand out individual passenger entertainment systems, that are a pain to deal with and get in the way of everything your trying to do (ie eat, work, sleep.) I’m only 5’9 and I found when the seat was in the bed mode, the seat slopped down very slightly, and your feet would end up underneath the side table to the row of seats in front of you. As i wear a size 13 shoe, i found that space to be rather cramped especially for my feet.
Pros: The crew was helpful and nice, boarding was calm, we got there much earlier than anticipated.
Cons: 1) Biggest complaint is not about the actual flight we were on, but the one we missed, who left the gate Early, even though they knew we had landed and other people from our BCN to JFK flight made it. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, esp since all other flights to DC out of JFK were cancelled. 2) We were on the last row of the plane so our seats didn’t recline. Annoying at best bc the flight was so short, but would have been nice since we had been traveling for 18 hours by that point (because of the late flight, missed connection, cancelled JFK flights, etc).
Cons: The e-ticket did not include the terminal information. As it was an Iberia flight I went to the terminal 7 where Iberia operates. However, after waiting on line when I got to the counter the attendant informed me that the flight was operated by American Airlines and I had to go to terminal 8. I ran to terminal 8 but by the time I got to the check in it was 6:15 and they said they said the check-in for the flight at 7(which was actually at 6:55pm) was closed for check-in. I was lucky enough that there was another Iberia flight (this one from terminal 7) st 8:30pm and the supervisor was able to find me a spot in that flight.
Cons: The flight I booked was misrepresented. I thought I was booking a BA flight only to find it was American Airlines. This changed the terminal I was to go to and the gate in which our Italian non-english speaking driver was to meet us at. This impacted seating selection, as well. Was forced to buy a premium seat when I realized the seating chart did not appear when I purchased the tickets. Also, flight was three hours late upon arrival. I understand safety is paramount and am grateful we eventually were able to find another plane, but it begs to speculate if things would have been smoother on a BA plane.
Pros: Crew updates during a technical issue investigation.
Cons: This plane is very small for an international flight, and it does not have the proper entertainment system for long flights. To top it off, the plane was very smelly; I got a headache because of it. We also had to return to the gate due to a technical issue and ended up leaving almost two hours late, which defeated the purpose of picking this flight over the rest as it was the one that was supposed to land in Milan the earliest. I will be careful next time I pick a flight to check what kind of airplane they're using. My assumption that international flights have the best airplanes seems to be wrong :(.
Pros: I arrived at my destination at least! Good crew and decent food but that’s the least I can expect from an 8 hour flight.
Cons: Very old plane. Had the screens every 4-5 aisles. No control over the entertainment. Very uncomfortable seats, but so are almost every other airlines. The worst part about this flight was that I traveled with my girlfriend and when I went to check in, 24 hours before, there were only single seats left and there were so many open seats together that were considered “preferred” and had to pay $80 for just one “preferred” seat just so we can sit together on an 8 hour long flight. The seat didn’t even have any extra legroom or anything, it was a normal seat. American Airlines is just trying to squeeze money out of anything they can.
Pros: Plane and staff were great. Very easy boarding process and we landed early in Dublin airport after an hour delayed take off. Food and staff service was very good, no complaints.
Cons: No idea how they messed up the take off and landing times so greatly. left an hour late and arrived an hour early. No personal entertainment screen and plugs were not working.
Pros: Nothing in particular
Cons: Flight attendants
Pros: Crew was exceptionally lovely through delay except for lead attendant who spoke down to attendants and passengers alike (would refer to me in third person in front of me--asking attendant condescendingly "why is he here?"). terrible sense of service, spoke like I was a grade school kid in her class. Gate agent gave me last minute seat change which was very cool of her
Cons: Plane is terribly old, has ashtrays and audio channels for entertainment. More importantly, mechanical failures at and after gate. Total delay of over 2 hours. My girlfriend flew this same plane and had even longer delays plus needed to divert In flight and turn around and land in heathrow on a mxp-jfk route (they were over the Atlantic). Problems continue for me 2 months later on this route and as a pattern it's incredibly unsettling. I'm questioning whether taking the return flight on a plane that's clearly begging to be retired
Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: Flight delayed by 5 hours last minute, making my layover 17 hours long. The delay caused my car rental place to give away my reservation so I had to wait an additional 2.5 hours to get a rental car. The primary reason for my travel was a wedding and although I made the actual wedding, I missed most of the pre-wedding activities that I had rsvped for. The seats were really uncomfortable, particularly the lack of low back support. I was very sore after the flight and was unable to sleep despite having been awake for over 24 hours prior to the flight. We were finally given meal tickets but was unable to use as everything closed at 10pm.
Cons: I bought travel insurance as I do with any trip. I have a complicated family emergency that forced me to call off the trip. Being that I bought trip insurance, I felt good. Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!
Pros: Boarding was prompt, flight attendants polite and accommodating.
Cons: If I am in business class and platinum status, why can't I use the lounge - which is only available to Platinum status going to LA or SF, Latin America but not to Cancun. American Airlines needs to change this policy.
Pros: Nice crew clean airplane
Cons: Initial flight was cancelled after 2 hours delay. My next flight was scheduled the earliest possible by AA which was 24 hours later. No transportation, hotel or miles compensation for this. I had work and responsabilities the next day. TThe scheduled trip was supposed to take off at 7:45. Boarding started late and was very slow. My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug
Cons: The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them.
Cons: Our flight was 3 + hours behind schedule. We didn't get to take off until around 11:30pm when our flight was supposed to take off at 7:05pm. I have missed my itinerary and cruise trip with family members. Now I have to wait 2 days to catch a cruise and reunite with my family in Italy. It's not fear that the airline don't take consideration for this kind of situation. We understand that Things happens and the airline takes precautions to make sure everything is okay before take off. However, I'm very frustrated and disappointed.
Cons: My family and I make I JFK -LAX reservation 4 months ago. We came to LAX three hours before our flight to make sure we get good seats. At the checking kiosk we did not have the option to pick seats , there was a message on the boarding pass that said to go see boarding agent. So we did, appreantly they over booked the trip and they were looking for volunteers to give up their seats!! Why did we have to be on stand by if our booking was confirmed 4 months ago!! They made us wait until the gate was closed and then they found us seats . This trip caused us mental anguish I will never fly American Airlines again
Cons: Cancelled flight due to multiple mechanical malfunctions that should have been checked previous to boarding. Held on the plane for 4 hours, another 4 hours in terminal of the closed airport once allowed to deplane, no communication, no food or water, put up in a hotel an hour and half away despite this being NYC, terrible customer service, no compensation, unable to get tofinal destination earlier than 24 hours later missed events in final destination overall financial and personal losses due to the inadequacy of the airline.
Cons: We boarded on time but were kept waiting 2 hours on the runway The entertainment system was broken so no screens worked the whole flight! Terrible,
Cons: Small plane, 6 seats per row, no individual entertainment. Not comfortable for a 7 hour trip.
Cons: Delayed 1 hour because crew announced there was a discrepancy between # passengers boarding central records. Flight crew didn't do anything to comfort passengers during this. Captain made one announcement about turbulence once at the beginning but nothing else for 1/2 hour or longer long turbulence period. Crew took away tray without asking. Ran out of water. Doors did not open for quite awhile after docking but crew said nothing. Seats so small one had to keep elbows glued to body to eat without touching neighbors. Felt like cattle being driven to slaughter. Min
Pros: The flight was comfortable and kept to schedule.
Cons: AA staff at JFK airport were rude and unhelpful. Staff onboard the flight were excellent.
Pros: When it finally took off the flight itself was smooth.
Cons: Plane was delayed coming in, then we were told we were waiting on catering. Then it became a weather issue. Then we boarded. Weather got worse so they took us off. The second time we boarded and were told we’re waiting on catering who wasn’t on site then had to go through airport security. After 3HOURS , we were asked to leave the plane. For rebounding the next morning with no explanation. The next morning the flight was delayed an additional 3HOURS. We were never given food in all this time of a wait. This became an 18+ hour delay. We definitely missed our connection and they rebooked it.
Cons: CCheck in process was horrible I only had a small bag which fit under the seat and yet I could not check in online or at the kiosk without somebody coming out to certify that my bag was indeed small very stupid and very cumbersome. I’ve been a United flyer for 30 years and this is the worst experien
Pros: I reached home
Cons: The WORST leg room in economy The WORST entertainment in economy The WORST customer service in economy The WORST food in economy. And I'm companring with other US carriers (American, Jet Blue, Delta, Southwest) -- NOT even international carriers.
Pros: On time, smooth and lots of cabin space for my carried on.
Cons: United should have allowed the super-economy ticket holder to check in online get my boarding pass especially I didn’t have any bag to check in. I was almost late for my plane because counter assistance is needed in my case, while there was no counter for NO-bag check-in. The kiosk rejected my check-in as well as online check-in. It was confusing and frustrating; I felt like the United Airline did that on purpose to deter the super-economy ticket buyer. Please be aware of time to take to check in with NO BAG with Super-Economy ticket at EWR.
Pros: It was a satisfying experience with United Airline from ABE shuttle bus ride (I said Shuttle) to EWR, and short plane ride to PBI. Excellent food selections at terminal C.
Cons: Too bad the DD at the terminal didn’t accept ordering via DD App.
Cons: This particular flight had little leg room for me (6 ft tall). Also, my wife had to check her carry on but on the prior flight she did not. I would prefer never checking bags.
Pros: Arrived on time
Cons: Distance between gates
Cons: Airport transfer; timing; information availability; security chaos
Pros: Fast time
Pros: We boarded quickly and pleasantly were upgraded to first class The crew was pleasant and efficient the flight smooth and arrived estly
Cons: There was nothing not liked
Pros: we were on time, and the crew was nice.
Cons: Boarding goes from the front of the plane to the back. When you're sitting towards the back, it's not ideal to have to trip over fellow passengers who are already seated in the front. Why not board from the back to the front like other airlines?
Pros: Entertainment was good
Cons: Flight delayed for 2.5 hours. Food at airport terminal specific to United ridiculously expensive, particularly for a family, e.g.. $8.50 for French fries, etc.
Pros: When i initially bought my round trip tickets. I chose the seating assignments for my boyfriend and i. When i got to PBI to check in, computer showed we did not have seats. When i questioned the ticket agent, she replied, "it didn't matter when you purchased tickets and it doesn't matter if you chose your seats, you can be bumped at any time". ..so after everyone boarded, then turns out my bf and i can't sit together, we ended up 5 rows from eachother, and we both have anxiety from flying. I am very disappointed with United Airlines, and will do my best not to book with them again. NOT THE FRIENDLY SKIES.
Cons: Our plane arrived late causing a 20 minute delay, and then we sat at the gate for a very long time after boarding, which ended up in a full hour delay getting out of Newark.
Pros: Nothing again!!!
Cons: Having to fly to LHR to get home, even that flight was delayed. Typical United methinks.
Pros: We went through four scales showing weight complience only to be over the limit each time we got to the final check. And we were accompanied by an United person each time. The only logical reason is that the final scale shows more. They had no idea of how to treat a passager courteously You could see that they are trained to always be right and cougt with their offul reputation they were asked to be better, but they didn't know what better means. The food could not be fed to a dog. The absolute cheapest ever. Two tiniest pieces of chicken, one piece of bread and a sort of pasta sald with raisin uneatable. The service in Paris was better because United couldn't destroy it like in Ny
Pros: Courteous and no delays
Pros: United club in terminal A.
Cons: Flight delays. 2:21 delayed until 3:33 delayed until 5:55 delayed until 6:15pm. Too many excuses. Plane late to arrive. Mechanical maintenance And then the plane was practically empty. So I am thinking. Could these delays be a result of not enough passengers to fill plane and so let's delay and make excuses and get as many passengers on one plane. Hmmmm. Get it together guys!
Pros: Staff on and off plane were pleasant and went out of their way to accommodate.
Cons: Plane malfunction delayed flight two hours
Pros: Other than being extremely late, business as usual
Cons: 4 hour delay, missed my dinner event, no compensation, not even a drink.
Cons: Flight was overbooked ! Want me and many people go next day ! Crew in Newark were very rud !!! United is terrible !
Cons: Nothing the flight left without me due to united being late
Cons: Had to pay for wifi, snack was really small,
Pros: Empty flight.
Cons: WiFi didn't work. Flight was late and the in flight service was lacking. Seats are extremely small and uncomfortable.
Cons: flight was leaving at 8:30 and left after 12 midnight. had to pay extra for a rental, car because rentwl agency went with was closed after 3 am. just keep, pushing it back
Pros: Safe flight
Pros: The plane was not full and they made check my small Cary on then there was room overhead The delay on maintenance of the plane
Cons: I was in the center bulkhead seat with an very oversized man on the aisle seat with a "service dog". It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that.
Pros: No delays.
Cons: Entertainment was close to none.
Pros: Timing...on time
Cons: Staff were immature , unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all.
Cons: The gate was so small there was not enough seating for the number of passengers. That coupled with the flight delay made for a bad experience at the airport.
Pros: Every thing about United this trip , from the efficiency of the gate to the flight itself , I upgraded to first class this trip due to an injury , I never said a word but the staff noticed I was in distressed and I couldn't help but notice how accommodating the entire crew was concerned for my comfort and were on point , also at the same time if I was trying to sleep no one bothered me until I was awake and looking around
Cons: Nothing , the Captain was able to find a better route then suggested because of hurricane Mathew ,, we landed earlier than expected from departure
Cons: The flight was overbooked. Seats are very small. Snacks were ridiculously small.
Pros: Staff was very nice
Cons: Seats are very small. Felt like the person next to me was practically sitting on top of me.
Pros: United wifi app allows you to watch some film and tv on demand, if you've downloaded the app in advance. Staff nice.
Cons: Seatback screen the size of an original iPhone, possibly smaller - and no on-demand content to be viewed on it, the movies play when they play. Most TV series available on the app have only one episode. Overhead baggage bins are TINY. Most normal carry-ons won't fit at all in central bins, and some not in side ones either. Expect a fight over them if flight is busy. Large IFE box under every window seat in economy.
Pros: Crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Flight was as smooth as glass; great on time for departure and arrival.
Cons: Did not give senior citizens who needed it any extra time to board; only disabled people. Free snack portion was extra stingy. Other airlines we fly moffer more than one tiny package! One of our party had a seat (aisle) that he could not move in once seated. Free entertainment was very stingy! Other airlines offer much more free entertainment in the way of TV.
Pros: They got me there
Cons: The seats gave me a backache. The entertainment system made you pay to even hear news or track the flight. The screen was so close you couldn't really watch
Pros: We flew though a tropical storm heading to Florida without any turbleance crew found narrow passage of clear skys
Pros: I am Brenda Crooks, Zachary's mom. I am the one that actually took the trip. I went to Connecticut to see my son, Samuel, get his white coat for medical school. I will never forget my experience in Newark, New Jersey. I met a wonderful woman named Yevette who checked in my luggage. She is to be commended on going above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know her last name. She knew I was very upset because I was leaving my 22 year old baby in Connecticut. She sympathized and comforted me. She put her arms around me and assured me that everything was going to be alright. She is a wonderful woman with a big heart. She is the true meaning of a lady. I will never forget her and thank her so very much for being so gracious and kind to me.
Pros: The flight board on time and left on time
Cons: I was dotted all the way to the back of the plan and can smell the bathroom
Cons: My seat was broken could not recline
Pros: The crew was great and the food was passable
Cons: The 4 hour delay due to technical difficulties is completely unacceptable and I need to talk to someone about it.
Pros: Short flight
Cons: No leg room... Overbooked so I could not upgrade. The kid behind me kicked my seat for 3 hours
Cons: Sat on plane over an hour before take off, no explaination provided.
Pros: At least they were able to get us on the next flight.
Cons: Security lines at Newark took us an hour and 45 minutes so we missed our flight. The lines were crazy and there was no security. People were cutting ahead and fighting. It was like survival of the fittest. Then when we got rebooked the boarding passes wouldn't work and we had to be last on the plane. The male flight attendant was rude even to my 7 and 10 year old who sat alone because there were no seats together. My 7 year old didn't know what tray table in the upright position meant and the attendant was giving him a hard time instead of just helping him.
Pros: The crew was really nice and helpful
Cons: The plane didn't take off for an hour later because they said it wasn't prepare for takeoff-in the airplane was so cold everyone was freezing. They could've done something for us like a free snack or free TV for waiting an hour
Pros: Absolutely Nothing
Cons: Everything nothing was pleasing it was torture
Pros: Nothing i thought it would be the price but that is not worth the headache to this trip. You pay for what you get.
Cons: Not paying for carryons, having water to drink. Not so many changes and charges. I will never fly with this airline again
Pros: Smooth flight great pilot. Easy boarding
Cons: Not much
Cons: That they at least provide water or snacks
Pros: Uncomfortable seats
Cons: Left and landed on time. After landing, an open gate to taxi to would have been nice. I missed my train.
Cons: Flight was delayed 5 hours with no explanation
Cons: Really uncomfortable seats that do not recline, several people constantly taking off masks, they charged for water (3$), no WiFi option or entertainment at all, tray table is too small to put anything on
Pros: Execution of the boarding/ exiting process
Cons: A little more space
Cons: Separate the individuals on the flight. Many seats available in the back and yet they crammed everyone in the front side by side with the covid-19 conditions just not smart planning at all
Cons: Did not fly the had to change the flight frontier website does not work with safari. I change the flight an hour after I mad the flight and they said because I did not use google chrome that the change were not made they waned me to pay 402 to change a flight that I booked for 194. I could have bought two more tickets for 284. The told them that is what I need to do. By the revues I saw on line the did the same thing to at least 10 other people. Frontier said that a customer only has 4 hour to make a change to a flight. I talk to sever travel agents and was told we have 24 hours.
Cons: Just was delayed flight was to be at 8:41 and delayed to 1:49am sucked cause was very sleepy lol but other then that all was well thank you!!!
Pros: Boarding was quick and easy. Stewards were courteous.
Cons: Seats are fairly hard and narrow for a large individual made worse by the protruding arm rests.
Cons: Nothing because everything is good.
Pros: crew was really nice and was genuinely a comfortable flight over all
Cons: cabin service
Cons: The flight was almost full. Disgusting
Pros: Absolutely awful! I have never seen such a ridiculous airline before. More than 3 hours delays? Unbelievable! I am now at Miami airport stranded because of the long delays with Frontier flight from Atlanta. This is absolutely unacceptable!
Cons: Absolutely awful! I have never seen such a ridiculous airline before. More than 3 hours delays? Unbelievable! I am now at Miami airport stranded because of the long delays with Frontier flight from Atlanta. This is absolutely unacceptable!
Pros: Arrived in one piece
Cons: Departure was approximately 40 minutes late due to the plane arriving late. If you fly Frontier it’s you know... business as usual. I fly a lot and every other time with this airline has the same issue. Upon arrival we waited approximately 32 minutes until we were able to deplane. Crew unapologetically explains that since plane is going to maintenance we are at a shorter gate hence the delay - it is what it is. We are getting off some makeshift jetway. What?! At this point the passengers are ready to walk down the tarmac. I’m just glad it’s over.
Pros: The on board crew do not compare to the quality service in other flights but are much better than the frontier boarding crew
Cons: The service was absolutely terrible, the front desk crew did not want to let me in 40 minutes to my flight because they stated I need to be there 2 hrs earlier. This was ofcourse despite me having only a person item and having prepped in order to not have the slightest delay with TSA. I missed all my apartment viewings because of this and an additional flight delay with the replacement flight I purchased. This rendered my trip absolutely useless and an extra cost because I arrived after hours to my car rental and lost my reservation. If I buy a flight, why can't I stand? IF I CANNOT STAND WHY AM I PURCHASING A SEAT SEPERATELY???
Pros: Boarding the plane was simple and like most other airlines
Cons: First and hopefully last time flying Frontier. Carry-on baggage charge of $60 per person at the gate and only $35 online...added bag online to avoid additional fee. Boarding was fine, but had to wait 45 minutes past take-off time for mechanic to sign off on all maintenance items for plane. All the while, the crew stood around and didn't make anyone aware of anything, almost like it was something that happens to them all the time. Very unprofessional and clearly not focused on the actual people on the plane. The flight attendants were chatting with each other like they were off work and NOT attending to anyone. Very poor crew.
Pros: The baggage claim girl in Atlanta was Wonderful she was very pleasant to me and my boyfriend and expressed a genuine concern about my unfortunate circumstance. Mariah (Frontire baggage claim girl) did everything she could to make sure I got my Bag back and called as soon as it arrived Thanks Mariah !!!!
Cons: They lost my bags I was flying to Atlanta from Phoenix and my bag ended up in St Louis ... i would assume that if your going to make me pay for my checked bag it would atleast make it to the correct destination. The crew wasn't as pleasant and friendly as I'd like them to be but did there jobs (I guess) then we had to sit and wait for a gate .... the only reason why a gate finally opened up was because people started asking for snacks. Overall there was nothing special about this flight I was upset that I didn't have my luggage from the beggening of my trip but the day before I left my bag was recovered . The ticket was inexpensive but I'm not sure if it was worth the hasstle Then I had to pay for my bags coming back as well. Suggestion maybe have a 50% voucher ad a courtesy from sending a bag to the wrong destination.
Pros: We never took the flight as we waited in the airport 2 hours from boarding scheduled for 8:00 p.m., as suggested, until after 2:00 in the morning, when we heard not from Frontier, but another passenger, that the flight was canceled. No flight was available until Christmas Eve, six days from the current flight, and so we spent considerably more money for all three of us to get home with another airline. I, nor any of the three of us, nor anyone we've told our story to, wishes to ever fly Frontier again. It is an event that will certainly impact our decision to fly Frontier again, without a doubt.
Cons: No flight No announcement right away about the cancellations, nor the delays Multiple reasons for the delays No definitive answers about what was going on Multiple additional expenses on our end that we hadn't planned on. Vouchers, but weren't enough to completely compensate for hotels
Pros: The price was good, but still not worth the money. Landings and takeoffs very smooth.
Cons: Denver to Atlanta one of two bags lost. Delayed our trip to Asheville by several hours and arrived in the dark, much to our chagrin. The bag was 'driven' directly to the house the next day. On the return, the bags were nearly an hour late before appearing. We were over charged for bag fees. Computer did not show the checked bag purchase at booking, so were charged full 'at the gate' price. Seats are uncomfortable and do not recline. Rows too close together. Every seat filled, making the flight noisy, crowded and uncomfortable. The flight was definitely NOT worth the savings.
Pros: The only thing I liked about Frontier was getting off of their plane.
Cons: Where to start? The 5 hour delay was horrible. The customer service was non existent. I've never see such rude people. We asked for their names to report them and they refused to give us their names. They lost half of our luggage. All of this was just the outbound flight. On our return flight we walked up to the gate right as they were closing the door. Thy refused to let us get on but offered to rebook us another flight 2 days later. Asked the speak to a manager and it turns out she was a manager....lol. We had to buy another flight on Southwest Airlines to the tune of $325. All of this and never once did anyone apologize or try to do anything to make it better. There is a reason Frontier is cheap. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from them as you can.
Pros: Nothing. If I could say that I liked something, it would be that I liked that my flight wasn't any longer than it was.
Cons: Both planes (departure and returning) were old, dirty, and I have sat in more comfortable metal folding chairs than the chairs on these planes. Frontier charges for everything. They charge for seats that recline, charge outrageously for reclining seats with a ting bit more leg room, their beverage service is not free, only water is not charged. No snacks either. Luggage that is considered carry on at any other airline is charged at $60 at the gate and the flight attendants pander and really push passengers to apply for their credit card. Horrible all the way around and we will NEVER fly Frontier again. Ever.
Cons: Never having flown with Frontier before, I had no reason to expect what happened. I found what I thought was a fairly good deal on Kayak to fly round-trip from ATL to DEN for a quick weekend with a friend. Little did l know, and certainly NOT because Kayak informed me during the booking process or anytime afterwards, that Frintier charges fees for *literally* everything. Want a soda...sure, pay $1.99. Want to choose a seat (not even a special one, just to know you won't be stuck in a middle seat)...sure, pay $13-$35 dollars per leg of trip. Want carry-on...sure, pay $40. For carry on. Really? So now my $261 deal has turned into a $367 dollar *ordeal*. Would have been better not using Kayak, and will definitely never fly Frontier again. Thanks for nothing.
Pros: The pilot was nice and the plane was very clean.
Cons: One flight attendant was yelling all over the plane instead of politely walking up to guests and informing them that the overhead baggage holders were full. Also, there seem to be a mix up with seating as before the plane doors closed, this same flight attendant allowed a guest to move to another seat, only for the ticket attendant to walk back on the plane and inform the flight attendant that she needed those seats. I usually fly with Delta, American Airlines, and in my 30 years of traveling have I not seen such unprofessionalism with regards to miscounted seats and the way the flight attendant handled those customers.
Pros: Attention to detail. Outstanding miles membership program.
Cons: Notta thing
Pros: I woke up to an email 31/2 hours before my daughters flight was suppose to leave Atlanta informing me that the flight was canceled. Called customer service where the man I spoke with was unable to or unwilling to tell me anything except that "yes it looks like the flight was canceled". His suggestion was to have my sister drive my daughter an hour and a half to the airport to see if there "might" be a flight available through another airline. Frontier did not have any flights going to or near RDU that day.Since my daughter had to be in Raliegh that day I spent the next 10 hours in the car going to get her. I did receive a refund but only because I requested one, otherwise they just don't refund automatically.
Cons: Customer service represenitives are not very informative. The flights may be slightly cheaper but you have to pay for checked baggage as well as carry on bags. When checking her in the night before and picking a seat in coach my sister had to pay a "fee" for her seat, so an additional fee of $57 dollars for one bag and a seat.... Really?
Cons: Although there were warnings that "fees may be applied", I could not find how much those fees would be until 24 hours before my flight when I checked in. Before that, I had actively searched for how much I would be charged for my seat and my luggage both online and on the phone. No answers. I described this process to a lawyer who said there is possibility for a large class action lawsuit. I ended up having to pay $70 in fees (and will again on my flight back home -- probably -- again, there's no way for me to find out from Frontier until I check in). I don't mind fees, but they should be transparent. I will never fly Frontier again.
Cons: I will never fly this airline again! The tix appear significantly cheaper on kayak, so we drove 2 hours out of our way to ATL in the early morning hours thinking it was saving $$$. Only to find at check in that it cost more to bring a small carry on than to pay for it to be checked! It was a west coast flight and it didn't even include a beverage in flight!!! No snack either. Thumbs down. It was certainly NOT worth the inconvenience of driving out of the way, and we didn't save any $ after all. The staff was not that friendly, at it took 30 mins for the frontier baggage carousel to even start up to get the heck out of there. Never again. If it seems too good a deal, it is!
Pros: Except for my "complaint," I thought the flight was fine. People were helpful boarding the play. The crew seemed friendly and chatty. I had a good seat (upgraded to the first three rows for extra expense). The monkey white wine was good and the flight attendant was witty and helpful. Thanks!
Cons: The only thing that caused me some concern was that the ATL gate on the printed ticket read 1 but the actual departure gate was 1A. At first I went to 1 and the flight information said Trenton and I didn't see the 1A or even go there to look. I found a helpful Delta service personnel who said, "Oh these people, they are never around to help the passengers. I'll help you. He went online at a kiosk in the general hallway and pulled up the flight as departing 1A. Sincere there was no way for me to know about this. I could have missed the flight. Either post someone to direct passengers OR put the correct information on the electronic ticket. Thanks.
Pros: I didn't like too much to be honest.. the crew was friendly.. boarding was okay.. nothing is really standing out.
Cons: Awful seats. They were WAY too small and I'm a small person (5'4ft 115lbs). They didn't even lean back and they were SUPER uncomfortable ... this airline is doing it ALL WRONG!!! The flight was only 3hrs long too.. and it left me with a very undesirable taste in my mouth.. the "complimentary" water didn't help.. they MADE me check my bag that would have clearly fit in the overhead compartment.. an extra $30 I wasn't expecting to pay.. the flight was so bad that I'm leaving the review.. I NEVER leave reviews.. so.. step up your game Frontier.
Pros: Each frontier employee was kind and greeted me...usually with their name.
Cons: I was in the middle seat and paid $6.00 to get a seat near the front of the plan as it is sometimes difficult for me to get to the back with all the pople and sounds as I have frequent vertigo. Right before take off I noticed several rows of seats completely empty and asked if I could move to one of those seats. Supprisingly I was tolld no. When I asked she said because people pay mor for those seats. For the comfort of the 2 other people and myself...I just thought it made since they were pretty much the same. These seats were not being utilized by anyone...no one had paid to sit there..not like Casper the friendly Ghost was on board and it would have made a more comfortable flight . Just found that a little peculiar. Some thing to think about if someone else ever asks????
Pros: I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd.
Cons: There is a lot to complain about with this airline. I cannot comment on the comfort, food not entertainment because I missed my flight. Granted the flight missing was not the fault of the airline however I would have imagined that the staff would have told me in no way would I make my flight with the security lines the way they were. Once we made it through we ran the entire length of the airport to try and make the flight in hopes that they might delay the plane. That's is not the whole complaint because it happens. However; my bags flew with the flight I missed. The ticket agent assured us the bags would get to the destination and I could pick them once I arrived on the later flight (through a different airline). When I arrived NO employees where to be found. The "helpline" not helpful not even to tell me if the bags were there and lock and I could get them in the morning. Instead I was talk to condescending and rude, thanks to Kim in Colorado. I stayed the night over since my home is 3 hours from the airport. Next morning at 8:30 I call to speak to someone, helpline again unhelpful. Could not tell me when someone would be there or anything about my bags. I show up the airport. No staff. I waited for an hour and half for a ticket agent. Once I posted on their social media page that I was unhappy that person told me when they would be there and their hours. NOT THE HELPLINE but I already stood around picked up my bags and was out of there. I will never fly this airline. They nickel and dime you and have terrible customer service.
Pros: The boarding process was pretty fast.
Cons: Talk about hidden fees! You have to pay to choose a seat and pay for a carry on. You're allowed a "personal item" that has to fit under the seat in front of you, but what they don't tell you is that the seats are "sardines in a can" seats only about half as deep as traditional seats (so that personal item has to be smaller than you'd think). So let's talk about these seats. They are literally an inch thick. Like I mentioned previously, the seat part is only about half as deep as normal seats. It ended at mid-thigh for me and I'm short (5'3"). Accordingly the tray tables are only a hand's width, put a drink on it and that's about it.
Pros: I like that the plane didn't crash. Other than that Frontier's service, from paying for your carry on and beverages and the ticket agents to the flight attendants was, I imagine, worse than a greyhound bus ride. I was able to download the frontier app and get my boarding pass, and make the flight (drenched in sweat from running through the airport) as they were closing the boarding door. Thank god for cardio and determination.
Cons: There were five ticket agents at the counter when I got to the counter (an hour before my flight). All five of them were helping one person and talking to each other for about 10 minutes. Then one split off to help the next person in line - or just to get a laugh by telling the couple they weren't make their flight and they weren't going to drop anymore bags to the plane because we were close to the 45 minute cutoff before the departure time. Perhaps if they had been working as a team rather than a gang the whole lot of us would have been checked in on time. When I got on the plane (after asking folks in security if I could get in front of them and running like a madman through the terminal) the flight attendant was the pinnacle of passive aggressive annoyance. This was my first and probably last ticket I buy flying frontier.
Cons: The hidden charges are an embarrassing way to do business, The flight attendant was inconvenienced by her job, and comfort level was what I would imagine a prison bus must feel like. My return flight was canceled do to weather in Denver, I am fully aware that this is out of Frontier's hands however I commissioned Frontier to fly my wife and I to and from Atlanta; that was the Job I hired them for, to and from. They did not complete there task. They canceled the flight 10 minutes before boarding and didn't offer us a hotel. We got a hotel, a rental car, and made the 1400 mile trek. I would at least expect a full refund. After getting home and relaying our story to friends and family, not one person was shocked at this. Apparently it is common knowledge that Frontier is the world's worst air line. Well Now We know.
Pros: I liked that i made it to my destination.
Cons: I do not like that the website does not clearly state that a backpack is a personal item. But here is the con, they say pay now for the bag or pay more at the airport! So of course you pay. On my return and upon picking up my boarding ticket i asked about my backpack and she told me it was a personal item and that it is free. She handed me a ready made slip of paper to call for a refund and said she would make a note in the system to this effect. When i called for my $80 refund i was told well the note in the system only mentioned your return flight so we will only return for that flight. Ok..ok. You see where im going with this. This is a class action lawsuit in the making.
Pros: The guy next to me on the flight was really nice as were the flight attendants.
Cons: I was charged twice for my bag. I had one bag. I went to the kiosk to get my ticket and was almost finished. I swiped to pay for my bag as a carry on and an error message came up and said to see attendant. I did. There were three people there who had no idea what was going on. I tried to explain what had happened and they kept interrupting me and telling me I probably was going to miss my Friday evening flight as it was overbooked. They asked me if I'd like to check my bag and I said sure. I agreed because I never finished my kiosk purchase or agreed to pay the fee on it. The attendant takes my card and swipes it. Then said "It looks like you paid twice. Call this number" and hands me a paper with an 801 number on it. The gate and departure time changed several times. We wee supposed to leave at 7:30 and didn't leave until after 8pm. This was an awful experience and I won't be flying Frontier again.
Pros: nothing to like on a 14 hour mismanaged delay...We did get our luggage refunded. And $10 vouchers for food (not enough) and had to cue for these for a while...
Cons: after mechanical delay - they happen - not the issue... But, due to staff negligence on the DEN-ATL flight - my family and I had to suffer a stressful day, that could have been avoided. Issues: No proper updates on times. No one manning the Frontier counter at ATL from 4-4:30 pm - no assitance to get boarding pass to get in, now would the kiosk print it! Once there the lady was NOT helpful or empathetic. We had a tough time through security. Only due to another DELAY did we make this awful flight ATL -DEN. All the incompetence of a budget airline on full display. Get some better management in Atlanta!
Pros: 83 dollar round trip non stop fare between palm beach and Denver. On time or nearly so each way. Polite crew but make no mistake, this is a no nonsense no frills operation. Even with the fees, the price was 100 bucks cheaper than next closest airline. The rating for entertainment was for the crew. They made me laugh just a little but only because they were tryin to assist passengers that were clearly beyond being helped. I enjoyed the fact that on both flights, the crew always looked like they enjoyed their jobs and genuinely wanted to be there.
Cons: Fees for everything. Carry-on fees change for each direction of travel. For example, 30 bucks from palm beach but 40 bucks from Denver. Same bag. Luggage extortion is how I thought of it. No overhead storage in last tree rows due to crew bags and additional amenities storage, i.e. Water and cups. Seats are like subway seats. Non reclining but not horribly uncomfortable.
Cons: A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child.
Pros: I have to admit, I liked the price. And now that I've flown the airline I understand why it has a low price. Which is okay, I saved enough money to cover my parking. I would say that 1st time customers might be unaccustomed to paying for your own beverages and snacks. The thing that struck me as odd was the staffs willingness even eagerness to have a confrontation with the quest. Like they took pride in putting passengers in their place for a few extra fee revenue dollars. The flight was okay, but Frontier airlines won't be my 1st choice next time.
Cons: Rude staff! Baggage claim in Las Vegas was in another terminal, which I had To catch a shuttle to get to, which I'm sure is determined by fees the airline pays the airport. So the least expensive is not always the best thing.
Pros: I liked how quick they were checking in and the lady that checked me and my friend in Denver to Atlanta was the nicest and the most helpful Customer Service Representative. She was very kind.
Cons: The lady that checked me in was friendly and helpful at the front desk in Atlanta but the lady that checked my friend in from Atlanta to Denver that was working right beside the lady that was checking me in was so rude! We were both really tired because we had to leave at 2am to make it to our flight so we barely had any sleep and she asked my friend where she was flying to and my friend accidentally said Atlanta and the lady was just really rude because she made a simple mistake. She was snarky and condescending.
Pros: The seats had a surprising amount of legroom, and the staff was nice (though i'm not sure why there were as many as a normal flight from another airline, since they don't do anything beyond the safety demo)
Cons: You are not adequately made aware that you will be charged for carry on unlike other airlines. And in doing so, the price of the ticket goes from being impressively cheap to being more than a flight from another airline that has more included amenities, like actual refreshements and free carry-ons. You also get charged for just selecting a seat, not a special seat, but ANY SEAT AT ALL. So the price you initially see when searching for flights is quite misleading. In reality, you should ad at least 50 bucks to any frontier ticket to get a truer picture of what the price would be for a normal passenger with a single carry-on that wants a particular seat.
Cons: Easy up on the dumb mask rule it a little ridiculous..
Pros: I’m glad the whole process went smoothly for the price I paid for the ticket, I paid quite a bit for my luggage but I expected that to happen since I am permanently moving to Florida.
Cons: The expensive suitcase and more leg room.
Pros: The crew was excellent, but the seats were very uncomfortable, very hard to find position and they were very soft in the back, so you could feel when people were pushing with their knees.
Cons: I know that spirit airlines is a very low fare airline but they could add some entertainment and change their seats, even if you're paying for them.
Pros: Good passengers and crew.
Cons: Charged me $40 for a suitcase containing boots, socks, and underwear. It would have been cheaper to buy them at my destination.
Pros: On time
Cons: Worst seat on the plane. Had to pay more for my carry on bag than my flight ticket
Pros: Cheap overall price, no frill airline
Cons: Crew seems jaded, no food or drinks at all, seats are very uncomfortable, very little area at kiosk when you check in.
Pros: clean plane flight was on time and loading was prompt and orderly.
Cons: seats were way to tight and leg room was not nearly enough for a six footer
Pros: Did not realize NONE of the seats recline.
Pros: The fact that the flight was $191.
Cons: There was no TVs, charging ports, WiFi. You have to pay for EVERYTHING from your carry on to the water you drink. Seats were uncomfortable. This was my first time flying spirit and would never fly spirit again. Both flights were delayed by maintenance. Staff wasn’t overly exciting for example on the way out the staff was thanked by one guy and he went for a high five and your staff was a stiff and didn’t even high five him back he just looked right passed they guy thanking him. What a loser!
Pros: There were no stops, and the crew was nice.
Cons: The seats were extremely uncomfortable, and the baggage policy was strange.
Pros: Swap to Delta flight.
Cons: Return ticket also cancelled without my knowledge. Had to argue to get return ticket restored.
Cons: Seats were very thin, had has children kicking and screaming behind me on both flights. Both flights were late for takeoff, which was very inconvenient, and lastly I do not think your airline prices justify charging $3 for something to drink! I paid about $90 for a United direct flight to Boston, where I had free drinks, and yet I paid $150 through you guys to take two flights home as you had no direct flights back. I will never fly Spirit Airlines again. Your flights are not cheap enough either to justify charging $90 for two checked bags. Good luck, but I would rather take United.
Cons: After I spoke with another individual he understood what had happened with maintenance on the front end of MSP and that I would've made my FTL flight to SJO had the flight left at 6am like it should've not 3pm. He said nervously that he'd have to talk w/ the supervisor again, where she came back & tried to fight about weather issues from BOS to FTL..but she didn't take a second to understand that I was delayed from maintenance in MSP which didn't allow me to leave til 3pm vs 6 am. If i had made my MSP flight at 6am, I would've made my flight in BOS at 2:45 and therefore caught my FTL to SJO flight at 11pm. He then talked her through it once again, and she gave me a voucher very begrudgingly. Wrong person to have in this sort of position there. I didn't catch her name, but she was a very unprofessional supervisor working the late night shift at 11pm in FTL at spirit ticketing desk.
Cons: Had to pay extra to take one carry on, ugh. Seats are very narrow, can't put elbows on armrests without impinging on neighbors.
Pros: On time
Cons: I knew that it was a budget airline and the accommodations wouldn't be as nice as I'm used to with other carriers. But I was still shocked when the tray table was not a full size tray table.
Cons: Flight was postponed three times, from a 9am to 2.30 pm ans even then they could not guarantee departure, I had to re- schedule the whole trip. Cost me a bout $100 extra and the loss of a whole day.
Pros: Crew was condisending when speaking to passengers
Cons: Seats are very uncomfortable and baggage fees are a rip off
Cons: They advertise cheap flight cost but charge extra for everything. So, the actual cost is much closer to most other airlines costs. If you travel with no luggage and don't eat or drink anything and don't mind an uncomfortable seat, then this airline is for you!
Cons: The almost hour wait for a duct tape repair that took 10 seconds.
Cons: Notification on way to flight that it is delayed for 3days. Having to drive to another airport and receiving an email with a different time than we were told. Paying an outrageous price for one carry on bag. We did not get a deal at all. Person sitting next to us paid 50 we paid 200 for our flight. Since we had to change airports we missed an important event due to our return flight! Never again!
Pros: 3 delays still waiting at gate. Will never fly spirit again!
Cons: Seating is terrible; nickel and dimes for everything. Will never fly Spirit again.
Pros: The plane got there on time
Cons: No food, but I was asleep, may have missed it
Cons: I did a check in to my luggage it was just one an hour before boarding and i paid 50$ for my bag and they lost it and when i went to thier representative she told me she cant find and when i asked her when will they get back to me she was like as soon as they find it without any specification about the time or any thing and she gave me a permission for a voucher with 25$ to use it in my next trip with them!! Again!!! Really !! If i will travel with again!!! It is a horrible airline i will never travel with them again ever.
Cons: The flight was cancelled due to the plane being stuck in another city due to weather. I've had this happen before with other airlines, and they were able to rebook me on another airline's flight, with no price difference. With Spirit, they only were able to refund my money or move me to another date, four days later, which would have caused me to miss the event I was supposed to attend over the weekend. I thought since I was flying solo, without my kids in tow, using a cut-rate airline would have worked out. I've had no problems with JetBlue or SW in the past. But I would stay away from using Spirit.
Cons: After being told we were circling our destination due to weather, we were deferred to another airport. This was fine until we were told we'd get sent out on the next plane... Which was also told to the other plane that got deferred (spirit) . Two planes all pushing to get on one. We were then forced to leave the gate with the promise of buses awaiting us. After 4 hours waiting for buses (midnight) I had to spend my own money to rent a car and drive 4.5 hours to my original destination. No offer to be put up in a hotel was offered, nor was an offer to catch another flight. Instead we were told to pay and extra $100 to be placed on standby for the following nights flight to our final destination.
Pros: On time
Cons: No TSA pre-check, $55 fee for a carry on, crowded seating - felt like I was taking a bus. Would rather pay full price for another airline
Pros: Decent legroom
Cons: Baggage fees. Seat fees. No tray table. No drinks!! Web site terrible. Damaged a suitcase...never again
Pros: Nothing service was terrible
Cons: The plane had mechanical trouble flight was delayed three hrs instead of putting some people on other airlines we missed two other flights then they tell us flight is cancelled there is nothing they can do stuck in another state no hotel no vehicle and they aren't helping us with anything ! Spirit sucks!!!!
Pros: All associates were fantastic
Cons: $50 checked bag fee. We don't have a printer so couldn't do ahead
Pros: This was the smoothest flight I have been on.
Pros: All went smoothly. Left on time, efficient boarding
Cons: Website was difficult to manage. Payment for bag wasn't made clear at time of booking, but luckily a friend who had to pay $100 at airport told me when she learned that I was flying Spirit. It took several tries before I could pay for my baggage. Carry-on size deceptive. I didn'take one and saw that others bigger than mine were acceptable. Seats very tight.
Pros: $45 upgrade to larger seat
Cons: $55 for carry on bag!!
Pros: I liked that I finally made it to my destination.
Cons: My 8am flight didn't leave until after 1pm. I missed one whole day of my vacation and visit with family. My pick up at my destination was all messed up due to arriving after 4 pm as opposed to 11:30am.
Cons: I booked a 4 day flight (M-Th) and when I went to return, the flight was booked for an entire week later. I would never do that because I needed to be in Philadelphia on Friday. Nothing could be done to help me and I was expected to pay money to change the flight (everything was booked and I couldn't leave on Thursday anyway). I wound up canceling the flight and flying another airline and out of another airport. I had to return my car at one airport (West Palm) and then get a ride to the other airport (Miami). I had a direct flight with Spirit and then had to get a connecting flight. It was a very stressful situation and I was not happy. Now I have to file a claim with flight insurance to get reimbursed for the extra tickets I had to purchase. All around - very stressful!!!!!!!!
Pros: On time direct flight
Cons: having to pay an additional 25 dollars for a suitcase that I already paid for . rediculous!!!
Cons: Website was very difficult to navigate. I did not like being "nickeled and dimed" on everything. Telephone staff was useless.
Pros: On time departing and arrival. Luggage retrieval was fast.
Cons: Chairs should recline. Food tray could be larger. Arm rest between seats longer so 2 people can share it. BIG seats not sold should be offered at a discount like other airlines
Pros: JETBLUE, thats what I liked about Spirit
Cons: I called Customer Service to change/delay my flight after the storm and the woman I spoke to didn't speak English, kept repeating something that had nothing to do with my call, she also kept calling me "Karen", not Caroline, and when I said "its Caroline" or "are you sure you're speaking with Caroline? I do not think this is right" she would reply "ya ya ya ya ok Kahhhreeeen" and then hung up on me after saying she was transferring me to a "specialist". I called back and the second man I talked to said he wouldn't (not couldn't, he would not) push my flight back b/c it was still on time and there was only a "weather advisory". "Have I helped you with everything you need today, Caroline?" He asked SERIOUSLY DUDE? Well, well, well... two hours later guess whose flight was CANCELLED.. MINE! With no tickets available to Palm Beach until the next week (if only he had transferred me to the Thursday flight like I wanted, that a**hole!!), except on JetBlue for over $420 one way, I went with JetBlue- like I will always do from now on. Everyone is right and it's my fault for not listening- like my brother told me, Spirit is the FUNG WAH of airlines.. If you know what that is then you know what he's talking about. Never again will I purchase tickets with Spirit, never again. If Hell freezes over and one day the only option is Spirit, I'll wait or walk to my destination. Thanks!!
Pros: No food or movies but on time and inexpensive.
Pros: good flight attended
Pros: The flight was direct
Cons: I purchased a seat and paid for baggage. Inwas charged in my credit card and when i arrived at the airport they had no record and charged me again.
Cons: Spirit has an extra charge for regular sized carry-on bags. And tries to fool you into paying $20 extra when choosing your seats online. These are just extra hidden expenses. Where is the cost savings for other customers in bilking / not bilking some customers out of $20 to save certain seats? Does that extra few bucks taken in really reduce fares for everyone else? Most things Spirit claims are saving money for ticket prices overall, just do not. It's really an excuse to overcharge for minor services. I would rather split the cost of adding literally 3 cents to my ticket price to have a drink on the plane, instead of paying $3. Along with many others I see in the comments section one time was enough.
Pros: Great flight and crew
Cons: $15 seat charge
Cons: The flight was delayed by an hour. And then did not leave for an hour and a half after the original scheduled time. Even with the delay, the flight arrived later than the adjusted arrival time. I saw a woman get charged a ridiculous amount of money for a carry on item because her personal item was barely too large. Nothing complimentary (even water). I should mention that my returning flight was delayed by more than 2 hours. I am never flying Spirit again, and strongly discourage people to use this airline.
Pros: The seats and flight were relatively comfortable. Left a little late, but arrived on time, except for a gate mishap they were not responsible for.
Cons: Lot's of hidden and confusing costs after ticket purchase. No ability to book seats without a fee prior to flight. Luggage fees with many options. Ticket counter boarding pass fee if you forget to print boarding pass at home, etc. By the way, I could not print boarding passes from home due to a problem with on their website.
Pros: Flight delayed over an hour. Seats cramped
