Pros: I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The hotel staff was phenomenal. They were kind enough to upgrade us to what appears their best room. The on-site restaurant was great. The fact that a fabulous breakfast is free of charge with a nights stay makes it hard to resist. The Settlers Inn thinks of their customers comfort at every level. The mini kitchen at the end of the hall that accommodates guests so that they would be able to make tea or coffee at any time. They even had mints and chocolates out for guests.
Pros: The staff was very accommodating, we checked in late, and they opened up the kitchen to get my wife and I some appetizers.
The food is spectacular. Simple but amazing free breakfast and the dinner offerings are out of this world. Definitely fine dining at a great price.
The town is a nice small town and the residents friendly.
Cons: The room was dirty, stuffy and didn't smell good. There is no way to open a window and the room smelled like it was never aired out, despite the doors being kept open for rooms that aren't in use.
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, but the pillows smelled absolutely horrible. Even after wrapping a few shirts around the pillows, the smell crept through.
There was also a larger spider in a web just above the bed.
We didn't get much sleep.

Cons: nothing, all good.
Pros: Room was clean, large, comfortable. Breakfast in restaurant was great.
Cons: No maid service on day 3 of our stay. After a day of holiday visiting and tiring travel,we expected a clean room with fresh towels and beds made up. Very disappointing.
Pros: Hotel is great. Rooms are also great. Entrance sucks!
Pros: st5aff very helpful
Cons: no complaints
Pros: Since the hotel wasn't full, the breakfast was waiter/waitress service instead of a buffet.

Pros: We loved Ledges! We had booked a short weekend getaway and received such a beautiful welcoming at an architecturally extravagant hotel. The area was serene and the staff were extremely friendly. Remember to utilize the free gym membership next door at Lake Region Fitness while you stay. Check out the views behind the hotel of the waterfall. Great on a star filled night. We definitely would love to come back!
Cons: Continental breakfast was extremely limited.

Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The greatest breakfast I have ever had.
Pros: Staff was very friendly -room was nice -dining room nice with free breakfast
Cons: Bathroom was small- hard to open and close the door without hitting you. Could have used bar inside the tub to hold on to while washing feet.
Pros: Ease of location, cleanliness, courteous staff, great selection of breakfast items.
Pros: Since 2007, I have always booked this hotel, always booked and prepaid and never disapointed until this time! The hotel has been updated and the rooms are beautifully decorated.
Cons: A pet friendly king size bed room was booked and paid for 6 weeks prior with a late arrival with no scents nor feathers. When I arrived there was none available, the clerk not friendly and we were given 2 queens in a scented room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The arcade was nice, once we found it on our own. Noone told us at the desk that it was there. To bad about half of the games were out of order. There was a table for a game of cards though.
Cons: There is nothing around it but a diner and a gas station. They should have a restaurant/bar.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs!
Would not recommend
Cons: The room smelled moldt and damp. No elevator and has a second floor room
We were very pleased with our stay and will stay there again!
Pros: It's located in a beautiful area, right off the exit and had a large parking area. The staff was extremely professional and pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was yummy.
We got a phone call from the front desk a while after check in just asking if everything was ok and if we were happy with the room. What a nice touch!
Pros: Very clean. It almost appeared new
Cons: No. It was a pleasant stay
Pros: Easy to find from the highway and low cost
Cons: Electrical problems--multiple outlets not working for electricity--and no maintenance to fix it
Great Priceline Offering.
Pros: Very nice commuter hotel. Clean room. Great breakfast. On/off highway. Nice staff. Great price. Bed was comfortable and firm. And were very nice about having our dog. Great place. For a 2** it was among the best I have ever stayed at.
Cons: Nothing but the fact that there were some very loud people that woke us up at 3AM who were partying in a room on the next floor up. It was the weekend and it happens. No big deal.

Pros: Small, boutique, with unmatched personal charm and presentation. This is my second year staying here for the two rivers marathon festival and I will always make this my first hotel choice in the area. Feels like a family adventure.
Pros: I'm a big fan of history and the boutique experience. Hawley, PA is a historic little town that has let the rest of the world speed up while remaining quiet and simple; in a good way. The Belvedere captures that feeling perfectly. From the creaky stairs to the wonderful old photographs that hang throughout the hotel it is a step back in time. The restaurant downstairs is authentic Italian (complete with an absolutely gorgeous cadre of hostesses and servers) and serves made to order dishes with hearty portions and delicious sides. I came in to town for a local marathon and when I sign up next year I'll be staying at the Belvedere again.
Pros: It was close enough to where I had to be and while this hotel/restaurant was understaffed the employees were trying their very hardest.
Cons: I don't think anyone at the hotel new that I had made a reservation. It took an hour and a half to check due the fact that there was one person Bartending/waiting tables/bussing tables/running food and checking in guests.
The room was cheap enough but really dingy and It seemed that they cleaned it while i was waiting for my key. The owner needs to really consider how is staffing so close to holidays. His employees deserve much more.
The Hotel Belvidere is a great choice for a stay in Hawley. For a bite to eat, guests can check out The Ridge Restaurant, which serves Italian cuisine and is open for dinner. There's also a bar/lounge, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: We loved the pool, sauna, and heart shaped tub in our room. The resort offers a lot to do at no charge which was great. The room was very private and quiet.
Cons: this is a no-frills romantic resort- they do not include anything like bubble bath or a log for the fireplace (since they say you cant use a real log). I was upset that they told me check in time was 3, then when we got there it was not ready. they said they would call me when the room was ready but did not. only when i went to the desk to check was the room ready. I felt for the price of the hotel, the decor was lacking a lot.
Pros: lot of activities to do and the comforts in the room where nice.
Cons: Bring your own adult movies, food and liquor as this is not free and very pricey. Also, the room we were in could've used some repair as sofa's had cig burns and the pool tiles where poorly repaired.

Pros: The hotel was very old fashioned but very clean and sports an excellent restaurant, with a great wait staff.
Pros: They had good food but not happy about any thing else
Cons: No elevators you could not close the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet, handle come off in my hand when I went to flush the toilet also the TV had a mind of it's own I was watching one channel and it just changed to something else.
Pros: Convenient for my purposes. Hotel is well taken care of for its age. Free wi-fi.
Cons: Could have a better continental breakfast. I would stay there again.
Pros: The location downtown was convenient. The building has some beautiful architectural features. the room was small but clean and efficient.
Cons: Exit door was dead bolted when I attempted to take bags out in the early morning. the stairway was very dark and only lighted during the evening hours. The only staff member on duty when we checked out could not give a receipt or check our billing.
I can't recommend the restaurant, Bistro 1202, enough. Also, very quiet, we slept great.
Pros: The town is very quaint and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very easy to park at the hotel and grab breakfast in the morning on the way to Elk Mountain (try Camp Umpy's down the street!) Try the excellent hotel restaurant - Bistro 1202!
Cons: The hotel completely met my expectations - the rooms are older because it's a historic building, no complaints here.
Pros: Nothing stood out, the office staff was helpful and friendly. Very outdated property from floor in hallways and room to bathroom amenities
Cons: it was too old, and had an unsettling feeling.
For the money, this place was great. I would come here again
