All of it
- proximity to beach - known hotel chain - based on the positive reviews and high price, I thought this would be better; - first time to Honolulu - I thought the location would be better; - move on - there's lots of better choices
All of the staff was helpful and pleasant It's time to upgrade the bathrooms.
Nothing really Small outdated rooms with poor service
I really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location, Its the last hotel on the main drag, right next to the zoo and open grassy spaces that feel a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle of the area. I also really enjoyed the morning yoga sessions - what a great way to start the day! Parking is expensive. Next time I think I'll taxi or Uber from the airport.
Great location. Friendly staff. The hotel could use a little "updating" - but great value for money.
Love the pool and location!!
Air conditioner did not cool the room ..I realized this when I got there. The maintainence man said it needed to run for an hour to cool the room.I knew that this was not the answer...it was just a crappy air conditioner.I let it run for 4 hours and room was not cooled. They offered me a new room but it was late so I had to use a fan.
Private beach, off the main drag, quiet Rooms are tiny and slightly out of date.
No inroom tea
Free beach towel, mat, sand toys available. Fresh pineapple juice in the mornings was great. Breakfast was good, but selection is the same every day. Lighting in the hotel room was very poor overall. Must valet park for $32 a night or park at a meter. (This is the norm for the area though.)
hotel staff's service and attitude is good... affordable price Lots of noise in a room no. 506, unexpected hotel tax(about 9%), low interior detail compared to room photos, small area for breakfast, I experienced 3 hotels in hawaii and this Hotel Renew is the worst although considering price. Never recommended.
Great location and nice enough rooms for the money. Elevator barely worked, and our bed was just two twins pushed together. Also the $10 charge per night for things that were never used.
