Located by highway Drive in got lost, signs weren't visible at night. We arrived and parking was limited and far from hotel, long walk in with tired toddler. They didn't have the room I booked with two beds, slept as a family in king.. Light was out in room, and the a.c/heating unit was loud and turned on and off all night. There must have been a kids hockey game because there were hockey kids running all day and night.. Very loud and hard to sleep because they kept waking my toddler. Shampoo smelt like hippies and the light bulb blew and got glass on the floor. The second day they came to change the first broken light bulb and had to changed the whole fixture... While my family sat and watched the over half hour process... The pool and hot tub was filled with rambunctious kids... While their mothers sat and drank beer... The sign clearly stated no kids in hot tub under sixteen... They were young... Like single digits... Rest past eight am was not happening. The walls are paper thin... The staff was nice.. But the stay was not... Disappointing for a crown plaza... Very disappointing

The staff were extremely gracious and tried to meet all needs. Not just the front desk staff but everyone we encountered in the hotel. They were a pleasure. The "systems" at the property did not work smoothly. Check in BASED ON RESERVATIONS THROUGH KAYAK did not work. The reservation THROUGH KAYAK was not accepted by the property's computer, despite print outs of the reservation information. It took more than 40 minutes to straighten out. Eventually, we told the staff to just check us in instead of having us stand around in the lobby and when it is straightened out, tell us. Another system that did not work well was room cleanliness -- this should be a 'checklist' task: before a room is logged as cleaned and ready for a new guest, someone should check to see that the towels are clean and all appropriate supplies are present. Something as obvious as a missing box of tissues -- an empty holder is not hard to spot. Then, when a guest asks that it be replaced, there should be a flag on the request with a system to ensure that the task is completed. It was not. The same with the facilities. The exercise room was missing items marked as present, such as clean ear-phones. The exercise bike was broken but not marked as such, suggesting no one on staff knew about it. These are all minor points but this is a facility that should not have these issues. They are minor but also very easy to address.

Rooms were awesome, place is beautiful, staff was friendly and very attentive. Typical hot continental breakfast, reasonable on site restaurant with great food.
It was close to the Cleveland Clinic, staff was efficient and courteous. The walls are thin, hot water wasn't plentiful or hot enough.
The staff was the nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered. I had no issues with any part of the experience and the king bed was like being on a cloud. I'm not a breakfast person, however, my girlfriend is. Since their breakfast is $11.50+/person we ended up going to Denny's across the street. Everything else was perfect!
It was extremely loud with parties going on in several rooms on the floor. The security guy did his best. Staff was friendly
The staff was great, the breakfast at Shulas was excellent! Beds were comfortable. When we got to the room I noticed there was garbage in the closet and underneath the vanity in the bathroom.there was also extremely cold air coming in from the heating vent maintenance came fix that up for us and they gave us complementary breakfast and a free movie due to the room being dirty however the water took about 10 minutes to heat up at the sink in the bathroom the shower went from hot to cold and when it got hot it was burning
Very relaxed The last time I stayed at the double tree it was very nice I stayed on the 5th floor, the rooms were clean the whole floor was very nice. This time was horrible I stayed on the 3rd floor the wallpaper was peeling the bathroom look dirty. The feel of the whole room vs the room I had before was just so different. I say this to say I'm not sure if the higher up on floors you stay but my first experience was very nice my second time wasn't so nice.
Very clean and organized. Loved that it had a nice restaurant and room service was available. To many kids the weekend I stayed there. They were noisy and running around all over the place.
It's located on a hill with other restaurants and hotels so walking from one to another could be a hindrance to the unfit. However "The Winking Lizard", a well known area restaurant, is directly across from the hotel.

LOVED the room, mattress, linens, pillows...very comfortable. The furnishings were cute, comfortable and very updated. Location was excellent as well as the price. Room was also very clean. The television was difficult to use. Remote was stubborn and most of the channels said "no signal". In house food selection was limited, EXPENSIVE and poor tastse/quality.
Great breakfast, comfortable common area, outstanding evening snacks with white wine. Would not give loyalty points because I booked through Kayak. I was still loyal, as I could have gone somewhere else. Their management team did so many things well, but missed on this.
WiFi worked. Able to print boarding pass at computer and printer in lobby. When booking the room, I was offered the choice to request a "quiet room," but was given the complete opposite. Was able to get 3 hours of sleep at most. Cannot even begin to tell you where all of the noise was coming from except definitely from the "vending" area across the hall, but it was constant. By 3am there was so much noise I gave up on sleeping despite having to leave by 7:30am for a meeting with a client. If you want to get more than 2-3 hours of sleep, do NOT accept room #104 (or any of the rooms on that side of the first / ground floor). And I never even received an invoice under my door in the morning, plus, on check in, my address was completely wrong - listed as a State 1,000 miles away from my work address that I provided when booking.

We absolutely enjoyed our long holiday weekend stay at Sonesta ES Suites Cleveland Airport! The apartment-style accommodations made it possible to lounge and get comfortable (and not feel the dreaded "cooped up feeling" of being in a hotel room! We were able to cook several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, relax on the sofa, and stream our Netflix on the TV. The staff was exceedingly friendly and went above and beyond to make the most out of our stay. The hotel was in great proximity to wonderful restaurants and it was a quick drive from the airport, downtown Cleveland, and the mall. And the price! WOW! It was by far the most affordable of all the hotels we looked into - by at least $50-100 a night. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to seek out Sonesta hotels in all cities we travel to!! We stayed in the "West Wing," which was lovely; however, it did not have an ice machine. The rooms have freezers, but you must make your own ice. Fortunately, guest services gave us plenty of ice to last us the long holiday weekend!
Me and my husband are a young married couple and we spent our 4th anniversary in Ohio at this hotel. Our stay was a great experience it was like a nice studio apartment with a fireplace and private entrance. Variety of free breakfast food was also included. Staff was also very nice. This will be our first choice of hotel stay when we visit again!!!
Nothing The room smelled so awful like smoke that I had a migraine the whole time. You truly will get what you pay for here and we will never be back. Everything is old and shotty, and the walls are paper thin, you hear it all!
it was more comfortable than I thought it would be. All in all, I would have stayed again and will in the future, not bad but definitely not a higher end place...but good over all...don't expect the world here. most of the items were outdated, low qaulity and barely useable...all looked rather in need of repair but it is the Red Roof so expect less and be happy!

It was a room with beds. Staff was nice. This is the kind of place that you worry if you locked your car or not. I doubt they enforce their non smoking policy. Bathroom was smaller than an outhouse. I was relieved to leave.
Great service by front desk person Alyssa. She was the best part of the stay. First floor rooms hve very thin walls. Was able to hear every word of a conversation people were having outside. Air unit in room was VERY loud. Made sleeping difficult
I thought it was a very good hotel. I didn't have any issues and bed was comfortable and all was clean, I will stay here again if I need to.

I have never stayed at this brand hotel, but have stayed at others next door and nearby, so I knew the location was excellent. The breakfast area was clean and had a good selection of food choices. The room itself was OK, (most hotels need to do a better job vacuuming around and under the beds, I dropped my glasses-looked under the bed to get them and saw candy wrappers, a soda can, and HUGE dust bunnies. The hallways smelled like disinfectant.
The location was perfect. I was given a room on the 1st floor,when the guests above us would move about there was an awful creaking sound we could not sleep. I brought this to the staffs attention and they moved us to the 2nd floor and the same thing happened. Very annoying!

The location was great for everything we had planned while we were in Cleveland! The hotel staff was very rude - The room was dirty and many things were broken or didn't work at first try. Will never stay there again!
NOTHING! I wish I had listened to the other comments and spent $30 more to stay some place else. We had no towels, the microwave was older than my 17 year old son, the refrigerator was a solid block of ice, so unable to use the freezer. the chair had nasty stains on it and the bathroom was horrible. they had an elongated seat on a round toilet so I almost fell off and the shower had hair in it. also after turning on the shower the drain was blocked as well. There was a dead bug hanging off the ceiling and my sons bed sheets were not only stained but had paint on them. YES paint. The floor had missing pieces of carpet. no remote for the tv as well. For breakfast there was no OJ only apple juice and warm milk. Only 1 cereal as the other was empty, no plates for the waffles and the 1 bagel that was left had black, maybe mold on it. also as I was making my waffles, the very rude front clerk was spraying chemicals on the counter right next to my breakfast. really, you couldn't wait 5 minutes for me to move my food. will never return there. please do yourself a favor and book some place else.
Front desk staff was wonderful! Made us feel welcome and important! Shuttle driver to airport was not friendly - not even a good morning! Offered no info or offers of info on how to get to gates - which at an airport under construction would have been helpful!
Close to the airport Breakfast Buffet Pillows were excellent Downstairs meeting rooms were nice (though I wasn't there for a meeting) Couldn't find my reservation and had to wait 20 minutes for a manager to come down to work on some computer issues. My card was charged twice for the stay The photos for the hotel do not match the actual condition of the hotel. It appears that nothing has been upgraded/refreshed in > 10 years. Pealing wallpaper, missing baseboard molding, musty smells were prevalent in the hallways and in my room. My room had drywall next to the air conditioning unit and the door to the hallway squeaked like it was 200 years old, The room was not cleaned during my two night stay For the money this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at hands down, and I am a frequent business and leisure traveler

The clean room. That the hotel was a little outdated, I stay with Marriott frequently and I feel the professionalism of the staff was non existent. They did not even thank me for my stay upon checkout.
I loved the bed and the room was the perfect temperature. It was quite. Perfect for anyone that just needed a place to sleep and are much more active than we were. Their is no room service that we found. The sink being outside the bathroom was weird. The restaurants nearby closed pretty early leaving fast food as the only other option.

The lady at the front desk sometime after 11 P.M. on November 24 was friendly, professional, and helpful. She had a customer on the phone that I think she was being very patient with, based on what I heard of the conversation, but she made sure the whole time that she knew I was waiting and tried to expedite my request at the same time. Our biggest complaint was that the sleep number bed was uncomfortable. I don't know what kind of deal you got on those, but they hurt. Also, the shower was dank and dark. With the sloping in the tub, I'm not sure how somebody who's older or in any way disabled would handle it--I almost fell several times and I'm in fairly good shape. The ceiling was oppressively low, and we only received one regular coffee packet, so only one of us had coffee.
Booked online and received a booking confirmation, upon arrival was informed by the manager of a glitch. He did a very good job of helping get us to an alternate property. What happened between booking, confirmation and arrival? This was very frustrating as we were coming for out of town.
This was one of the friendliest places we've stayed. Everyone, from the front desk to the service staff, was welcoming and cared about our stay. Within minutes of checking into our room, the front desk called to ascertain if all was well with our room. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The next morning, as we were headed to breakfast, the service staff asked about our room and if it met our expectations. The breakfast area had plenty of seating and a separate space for the food. It was easy to navigate around, although there were a fairly large number of people in attendance, and it didn't make you feel like the area was an afterthought that was just stuck on with a couple of boxes of cereal and lukewarm coffee. Breakfast included fresh, hot eggs, choice of meat, fresh fruit, bread choices, and wonderful coffee. We usually stay at the Express place, but my experience here may definitely change our preference. This is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!
great breakfast!! the location was great for me while my son visited BW. booked online and my reservation was ready, no problems. had a few cookies and was offered a bottle of water while checking in.
