Employees are nice

the restaurant fell short of our expectations, on a Friday night there was virtually nothing to choose from and what we ordered was not good; although breakfast buffet was quite good. tiny bedroom with nightstand on only 1 side. location is far from shopping and restaurants. pathway to beach and beach itself were nice.

The place was beautiful. Right near the beach. Only a short 15 minute drive to Salem.

The hotel charged me for the same room three times. I confronted them and at first they apologized and admitted mistake, then after talking to the manager she said that they always do that and there was a sign at the front (which I didn't see) that's says they do that. It's been over a week and I've only been refunded once. Not twice. The rooms are small. The AC decides when it wants to work. Won't be going back.

I had stayed at the knights inn 5 years ago with my husband and kids. It was a great stay. When booking this trip with my daughter, I was a little worried because I had read some awful reviews. I don't know what they were talking about, our stay was just as good as the first time, if not better. It was clean,quiet,and the beds were more comfortable than our first stay. Breakfast was a selection of bagels,cereal,yogurt etc. And coffee is always available. I would definitely stay here again. For those who wrote the awful reviews ,I have no idea what you're talking about. Keep in mind this is not a big fancy hotel, it's a motel. The price is right ,staff is friendly, and rooms are clean. What more could you ask for?

The room was super comfortable, the refrigerator came in very handy, and the bathroom was beautiful! I enjoyed the lighting in the room being rather soft than in-your-face bright, I loved my stay in your hotel.

I liked the bed and how comfortable it was. The hotel was clean.

I didn't like that every morning around 8:00 I would be awaken by the loud talking of the housekeeping staff. It was as if they congregated around our room and were yelling towards the door. It was horrible!

Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable although perhaps slightly smaller than I was expecting. We were on the top floor near the end of the hall which made our multi-night stay nice and quiet. We would stay there again.

The entrance is hard to spot at first and since the hotelast is on a divided highway, if you miss it, it'seems a nuisance going past it to the next exit, going back the other way to the exit and then driving to it again.

The rooms are comfortable. This hotel is not equipped with a larger fridge and there are not some of the amenities you find in other extended stay hotels. The hot tub was broke and we were never told of that when we booked or upon check-in, it was a surprise. The elevators certificates were out of date so that made us uncomfortable. One by 2 years! The staff was friendly..the buffet in the morning is by far the best part of this hotel. They offer far more options than a typical hotel buffet. Would definatly stay here again the proce was right.

The carpets had visible stains all over them. Other than that, I'd say the room was pretty clean and inviting. It was kind of a bummer when the carpets ruined the overall vibe of the room.

We only stayed one night, but were pleased with the room and the staff.

The motel is conveniently located and easy to find, just off an interstate exit and within walking distance of a large and well-stocked supermarket, and a few restaurants. The front desk staff was professional and the room was clean, and showed evidence of some upgrades (the building is an older one), such as the beds & a flat screen TV. Breakfast was decent, the food only average but there was plenty of it. The room had free coffee, a couple bottled waters and a good cable lineup, in addition to the usual amenities. We would stay there again.

Our first room was non-smoking room but reeked of cigarette smoke, although otherwise clean. We requested and immediately received a different room, which was fine. The front desk was staffed by only one person, so although our check-in time wasn't bad, it would've been much improved by even a second person on duty, since there were others checking in. Possibly due to being alone at the desk, although professional & polite I wouldn't characterize the employee as friendly. She was helpful in finding a restaurant for dinner, though, which turned out to be excellent.

Staff was very friendly the room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Pool was clean and refreshing also the breakfast was all we needed and good.

My daughter and I stayed there because it was close to Hampton Beach and a concert we attended nearby. The hotel was located conveniently to the highway, the room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. We slept like babies. The complimentary breakfast was well thought out and very filling. We left with a smile on our face and would definitely stay again.

The view outside our window was of numerous parked trailers which wasn't very interesting or appealing. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Could hear people outside of room, pull out couch was very uncomfortable. Room smelled odd when we first got there.

The staff were super friendly and approachable. It was conveniently located to a lot of the sites and historic spots of Newburyport and Amesbury. Was a short drive to most things.

Only had an outdoor pool. But overall cannot complain. Was a great value and a nice stay.

Convenient to all shopping/dining needs. Hampton Beach is a short drive, which is nice not having to deal with the beach's congestion every time you go out.

The bed was like sleeping on just a box spring. We had a room with a sleeper sofa. As a sofa, you couldn't even sit on it, you would sink right down to bars of the sleeper. Extremely uncomfortable. They really need to invest in new beds. We had ants in our room. The chairs in the breakfast area were disgusting and one of the tables had the same syrup or whatever spilled, on the table for days.

The whole place is right off a highway exit, down a dark road. When you first enter, the I hate my life staff stares us down until we greeted him. Less than enthusiastic check in and when we asked where we should park, he simply said, parking is first come first serve so wherever. We bought our luggage into the room, which was old and smelly. I want to note that I'm no diva and am usually satisfied with a standard hotel room, no frills needed. This was terrible. Carpets were stained, It smelled musky and dirty. I couldn't even bring myself to take a shower in that bathroom. There was a overwhelming stench of mildew. The comforter had stains on it. I mean, it looked like a urine stain and another spot looked like blood. It was a nightmare, if I felt like it would be safe to sleep in my car I would've. We paid over $100 for one night, I'm not sure what you can get in that area for that price range, but if I knew 3 stars was like this I would not have hesitated to spend more.

Staff at desk not accommodating

Nothing. Literally nothing.

It was dirty. I booked a non-smoking room but it reeked of stale smoke. The exterior was crumbling, there was caution tape up around a half there pillar. The shower curtain was missing, how the hell did they not put a shower curtain up. There was also a used face cloth in the shower. I was legitimately concerned for our safety. I would not take my shoes off. It wasn't that it was older, it was disgusting. I didn't expect anything fancy but I did expect decent. We left within 2 hours of checking in. The only reason we stayed so long is that it took that long to find another room. The staff was unhelpful and rude. The only reason I got a partial refund was because Agoda gave me money back because the experience was so bad.

Affordable, clean, friendly staff.

Very clean and freindly Bed and Breakfast. Close enough to Boston. Beautiful village to visit. Friendly owners ready to help.

Nothing special

We did not feel like it was a place for our kids to stay when we pulled in, so we left and got a new hotel and forfeited the money we spent.

Very clean inn. Friendly staff. Lots to do if you bring your family, have a game room, pools, petting zoo, obstacle course, outside seating, nice continental breakfast, and quiet hours. After 10 it quiets down which is nice at such a big place

Parking was the only downfall. They have a big parking lot in the center of the grounds with the rooms surrounding the parking lot. My room however was on the outside perimeter of the inn. Very few parking spots on the outside perimeter of the building meant I had to do some walking around the building

The room was beautiful and clean, and breakfast was excellent! The innkeepers are friendly and helpful. The ocean is just across the street and we got to see the sun rise over the ocean. Overall, we had a great time!

Cons: - It's not the nicest hotel you could ever go to, but it's quaint and does the job sufficiently well - There are many families that come to this hotel, so if you're looking for anything different, this is not your place

We really liked the location of the hotel. It was convenient to walk into Rockport, and it was convenient to drive into Gloucester.

The staff was not helpful or apologetic. Our room was not clean when we got there (it looked ready, but then we found wrappers around the bed on the floor). Additionally, we were not able to use the water in our room for almost an entire day, because of plumbing work that was being done in the room next door. I asked to have a manager contact us, since he was not available when we were leaving, and he never called. Overall, very disappointing.

The Inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. Jeffrey, the innkeeper, was personable, helpful and fun. Breakfast was good, and there was wine at five o'clock. The inn's guests gathered for a lively conversation. It's a short distance from nice restaurants, and an easy drive to the ocean or Salem.
