Cons: Absolutely filthy!!! Thick dust everywhere including the walls! Dirt all over the cabinets, counters and doors! Kitchen use to be stocked with dishes etc...not much there anymore Unbearably noisy! Put us right next to the elevator and it started at 5:45am so if you want to sleep in no luck! Also noisy up to 2:00am with party noise in the halls! Cleaning staff would have meetings right outside our door at 7:00am and when you say something they didn’t even apologize just sneered...front desk said sorry but no one stopped it! We’ve stayed here for over 10 yrs but no longer! The decor, staff and clientele have dramatically changed from yrs ago. It use to be very service oriented and made you feel like comfortable...no more. Some staff tried but you could see they had no say! Very sad

Pros: Staff was WAY above average and I visit many upscale hotels in NYC and Long Island. Room was impressive and property on the Beautiful 'Gold Coast' stands out. You can tell when you walk into the FOX HOLLOW that someone has a Vision & Dream to give guests a magical experience for your entire time here. Price room rate is also respectable one.
Cons: - One manager should NOT be employed by this great family property in Woodbury. The hotel managers know of my issue I had with her, so will not go into any detail. But I will mention her name as she did change the mood to some degree of my one day trip with my family. 'Samantha' -Air Conditioning in the two of my rooms would go from cold the way it should be on non Auto mode to Auto mode on its own. So during the night it is nice for some time but then is has an override that turns it off till temp reaches what it was programed to. So if you want it to run continuous in the summer. Improvement Upgrades: I would have liked to see an outdoor bocci ball set or other forms of summer games A few Billiards tables in area in lounge and better music equipment by the pool would make for even a better stay here in the future. - Breakfast food could use some improving and frozen drink brand used by the pool should be changed to the 'Island Oasis' brand which is finest one.

Pros: There were a bunch of hairs in the bed. We think it unlikely that the bed was made before our arrival. Also there was a fire alarm at 3 AM one of the nights we stayed there. False alarms happen. But it was a little concerning that no staff were running around trying to clear the building of guests. The restaurant next store (not connected to the hotel) was excellent.

Pros: I liked the young man who was pool attendant. He made everyone feel at home. They should probably give him a raise. The bartenders were also lovely people, as were the ladies who checked us in. In fact, our entire experience here was really nice except for one individual. The other guests were referring to her as “Sam the manager aka the Pool Nazi”
Cons: A young man was playing music for us at the pool because we couldn’t hear the music the hotel had on. Everyone was enjoying it. The manager Sam aka “The pool nazi” in a dismissive tone approaches the man relaxing in the pool. She demanded that he turn the speaker off. He immediately agreed, but let her know he had permission from a different staff member to put it on. He asked if she could turn up the hotels music then. She said yes, but she never did. We thought her delivery needed some work. I mean he’s a paying guest. Then despite the fact that kids were allowed to jump in the pool all day. She reprimanded one teenager who jumped in one time (he happened to be related to the man playing the music). We thought that was uncalled for. He was in the pool with his dad and literally no one else. Then At night a very intoxicated guest wearing a suit and tie, stripped to his underwear in front of my son and I. He then climbed over the gate and belly flopped into the pool. THIS she missed! Also, the rate I paid for the room included both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast ended at 9:30am. So you snooze, you lose. The restaurant wasn’t even opened for dinner. Not sure how that works.

Pros: I accidentally lost my wedding ring in a towel as I was drying my hair. The entire staff helped me in finding it! Including the general manager and head of cleaning. It was found in a laundry chute wrapped in a towel. Like finding a needle in a haystack they diligently searched until it was found. There are no words to express my gratitude. Thank you so much!

Pros: This Hotel stay was everything! The Staff was wonderful, the room was nothing short of AMAZING! The room was clean and comfortable and i had the best night sleep ever. The breakfast was out of this world delicious. We came for our honeymoon and definitely will be using this hotel for our getaways! The price was reasonable as well!

Cons: I was welcomed by Diane who was warm and welcoming. 3 hours staying in the room I had gone downstairs with an allergic reaction to dust mites and informed Diane and showed her the hives I had on both arms and all she did was give more points to my Marriot rewards. Upon checking out, the same thing happened, however, nothing was done to help this situation. I had to call on my way to the allergist and spoke with the GM Sean, I had to miss work and go to the doctor because the sheets and blankets were not cleaned. I stayed Sunday, January 20 and still until this day Sean has not called me up to resolve this issue. Very poor management. God forbid my throat closed and I needed emergency medical assistance. The hotel nor Management has the proper protocol to handle such situations and they should! I was very disappointed with this property and the staff. This being a Marriot Hotel, there shouldn't have been any of these issues.

A man followed me around asking me what I wanted, where I was going to sit.i told him I didn’t know. He continued to question me non stop. The Eggs and sausage were dry looking. The bacon was all gone. I finally told him I’m goin to my room. He throws a checkbook in front of me and walks away. I went to the front desk told them I was told it was include but wasn’t goin to pay for a buffet. I left the food and left. It definitely was not worth what they were charging and the annoying guy needs to not harass people so early in the morning!!

We found the hotel quite clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Tip: walk around the Jericho Turnpike side of the hotel to the Ralph's Famous Italian Ices, which is open until midnight on weekends.
Cons: We were disappointed by Comfort Inn's policy that we don't get points credited to our Choice Privileges Rewards account when we book our reservation through a third party site. It's 2019--consumers readily find a myriad of choices at their cyber-fingertips. We could just as easily chosen to spend our four nights with a competitor (for which, most likely, we also have a rewards membership).

I have never had an experience like the one I had at this Hilton. The woman at the front desk (Samantha Wietz) was beyond rude to me and my girlfriend. The card that I had put down through booking.com was actually stolen so I had to cancel my card before the stay. Upon arrival I took out cash at the bank so that I would be able to stay. I was unaware that I would not be able to pay for the room in cash unless I had a card put down. Samantha was very rude when explaining this to me and my girlfriend. I told her that my card was stolen and that I had no card and neither did my girlfriend. I asked if I could put down extra cash for security or even my license. She told us that she couldn’t help us and that we were holding up the line, and asked if I wanted her to cancel our room. It was embarrassing and belittling that she publicly was saying that as though we weren’t good enough to stay there. I understand that a policy is a policy and you guys have things in place for a reason. But the way we were treated and spoken to was unacceptable. She was rude and did not help us in anyway. Lucky enough my friend lived close enough that we were able to use his card, but even then she went on to ask us where we got the card as if we had stolen it or something. Lastly I ended up leaving my toothbrush at home and called the front desk and Samantha picked up. I asked her if she could send up a toothbrush and she said sure thing. 30 minutes went by and I still did not receive a toothbrush, so I called back. Samantha answered the phone and told us that we need to be patient we are not the only guest in the hotel, we will get or toothbrush when they are able to get there. Again i can understand being busy, but the way she spoke to me the entire evening was just disrespectful. She needs to be spoken to by upper man

I had to cover it with towel because it was dirty.

Cons: We didn't like the mattress. It was way too old, uneven, soft, oldfation bouncy king mattress. It's clean though. But we didn't get any sleep. Breakfast could have been better, but it wasn't a big deal for us.

Due to allergies we had to switch- weekend getaway with my husband turned to two double beds. How romantic.

As said before, I never received an invoice. When I got home I tried to get in touch with the Roslyn through their website - to no avail. No invoice,no answer. I was charged USD 379,75 and USD 24,84 on May 28th without knowing what it was for. By no means do I want to insinuate that I was cheated, but the procedures in place at the Roslyn seem to be poorly managed.
