This hotel is in a great location just around the corner from the Sonoma Square. We had a room that opened up to the pool, making my kids very happy. The room itself was spacious and clean, a good value. We will definitely stay there again. it was a fine hotel.

location, services, full breakfast had a very difficult time adjusting room temperature at night. one side of bed much too cold other side much too hot. had to do with air circulation from air conditioner.
I liked the close proximity to the downtown area and the free breakfast. the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.

The rooms are on the larger size The room was dark and dingy. Don't eat the breakfast! The food is horrid. We chose Best Western because of the reviews, don't do it. We wanted to enjoy the pool, but there were leaves floating on the pool and it was expensive.
Ambiance I was very taken back being next in line when the desk clerk asked how he could help a guest who waltzed up to the counter. I was waiting my turn & felt the person who was already staying there should not have precident over me who was next in line before them. Should I have to wait if every guest came down for something before the person in front of me was finished? If not, when should it be my turn? I would have walked out after being treated that way if I hadn't already purchased the room before arrival. Otherwise the stay was pleasant & quiet. I may return.
Location can't be beat. Super close to the plaza and across from a strip mall including a Whole Foods. Sloppy cleaning services, subpar breakfast, 15-min timer for bathroom light (can't take a longer shower without stepping out to turn on the light again!!) and general outdated-ness of the room with carpet that needs updating. Despite the great location I will not return, as there are more cons than pros here.

Close to the plaza so within walking distances for everything so very convenient. Loved their patio set up with fire pits and that we could walk out from our room. The floor above us must have had a family of kids bc we could hear them running and jumping early in the am and as we were getting ready for bed.

Loved my upgraded room. Bed was awesome. Short drive from downtown Sonoma. Concierge emailed me a list of wineries and restaurants that was very helpful in planning our trip to wine country. Original room I booked was tiny. Upgraded for $75 more per night to a room half the size. Needs a bigger entrance sign. Immediate surrounding area looks questionable, but glen ellen and Sonoma were a short drive away
$15 internet charge ruined the stay. Would have paid higher room charge, but the extra charge was a hassle and made the place feel cheap. A bad business move.

Was hesitant, as I chose based on stars and reviews alone - but this place was Amazing in every way. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was the kindest and warmest we've been greeted with in awhile and always ready to lend a helping or advising hand. The local town (square) was a beauty as well and while small, the stores, food and wine can keep you there all day. I'd highly recommend this place again and can not wait to come back!

Friendly staff, well manicured grounds. Paper thin walls and floors, dirty room complete with hairs in bathtub and bathtub that did not drain, poor on-site parking, false advertising in photos on all major booking sites.
Decent room. Spa was nice. Service was poor. Left an item in room that was gone 30 minutes later and no one at hotel responded to our calls or emails. Just poor customer service.

Nice room, great old building with solid walls (nice and quiet). Great facilities (spa and hotel pool were great). Great staff, from housekeeping to valet to spa staff. Had a great time and would stay again. Old building means no elevators or ramps, which made getting around with a baby stroller difficult. Didn't like that you had to pay for wifi, and although they had free wine tasting you had to pay for the snacks. When paying for a high-end experience it is a bummer to have to pay for things that would be easy and inexpensive to provide, like wifi and light snacks.

There was a total lack of attention to detail and lack of response to travelers staying there. It took two nights and my taking a picture of my bed and threatening to send the picture to corporate for the Hyatt to use a mattress cover and sheets that were big enough to fit the king bed so that they would stay on through the night. Then when we needed to order an early breakfast room service and needed the card to put on the doorknob, it took three calls and we still had no response and no breakfast card. We needed to go to sleep so went to bed without being able to order our room service breakfast. This was harmful to us in the morning with our early meeting/tournament. Even simple details like having regular coffee packs and decaffeinated coffee packs in the room they were unable to accomplish. Offering us one free breakfast was not sufficient to make up for the mess the hotel is in. They give lip service to telling supervisors and handling problems but they do not.
The one younger girl working was very nice! None of this was her fault. The Management should have stepped in !! We reserved a king room that was one of the most expensive rooms available in Santa Rosa. We arrived and checked into the room on a friday evening. When entering the room it had a extremely strong cigarette smell. So I went and told the front counter that we needed to get a different room. They said everything was booked except a room with 2 queen beds. I said we booked a king room for me and my girlfriend so this was not acceptable. I called every other hotel and everything was full by this time in the afternoon. Now the room wasnt bad but if your going to charge top dollar you should give people what they want. Also we ordered room service breakfast and a wakeup call and never received . This place is not living up to the Hyatt name. They should have offered a discount or something if there gonna downgrade me and basically say this is what you get. I felt like I was forced to pay 300+ dollars or be homeless for the night. I will be staying across the street at the Marriot next time.

Location was excellent. The rooms were above average and parking was ample when we were there Reception service was rude and inefficient. While entering into the check-in desk front desk staff did not properly greet guests. Front desk service was rude and was more fitting of a motel 6.
Airconditioning was welcome as it was very hot. Complimentary bottle of wine was good. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Wifi worked well. Noise of traffic nearby as it is just off the A29.

Location is amazing. It's a beautiful setting. Used to be much more charming. The A/C didn't work in the room. The hotel was at capacity so they couldn't move me to another room. Did bring me a fan, a very dirty fan. They left dirty linens outside the event center which was outside the area of 14-ish rooms where i was staying. Very unappealing.
Our room looked right out onto the vineyard and had a beautiful view. Everything was really comfortable and welcoming, from the bottle of wine waiting for us and free waters in the fridge, to the cozy fireplace, and delicious chocolates they left each night. The bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. We really enjoyed the Friday and Saturday night wine tastings and met many of the other guests staying at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious each day and provided yet another opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Everyone staying here was happy and friendly! We also enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. I can imagine that the rooms not directly facing the vineyard, toward the front of the property, could be a little bit dark due to the mature tall trees around the property.

Spacious room, friendly desk staff, helpful service getting internet code, comfortable bed. The building itself is quite nice and the restaurant/bar area looked accommodating. I was given a handicap room even though the hotel was not very busy. It would have been nice to ask if such a room would have been acceptable. It wasn't a big deal but I would have expected such a conversation to have occurred at check in.
The staff very friendly, helpful and they seemed to enjoy their work environment. Dead bugs in the bottom of light fixtures. The art on walls not dusted regularly. But everything else very clean.
I was only there overnight and this is he best choice in Rohnert Park. Grounds are nice and the location is central to things to do in the area. Rohnert Park, however, isn't a destination. Pool area is very nice. Room was fine but in need of updating. Popcorn ceilings and older fixtures. The carpet in hallways and the room need replacing. Additional lighting in the large parking lot would make female travelers feel safer.
It is an above average facility in a beautiful setting. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very accommodating. The breakfast offerings were disappointing. The dresser drawer space was inadequate.
I was more than pleasantly surprise. Very nice property. The beds were so amazing that my daughter and I (separate beds) did not want to pull ourselves out of them. The room was very well-appointed from the price. The lobby is great, bar area was welcoming. If I need to stay in Rohnert Park again, I would gladly return.
1. The grounds are beautiful. 2. There was a hot tub and pool, a beautiful patio and AMAZING lobby with fireplace. 3. I had been dreaming of sitting next to a warm fireplace and reading, and it happened. It was so perfect. 4. I love the warm cookies upon arrival. 5. I also had forgotten my toothbrush and they gave me a very nice one with a travel size tooth paste (not those little toothpaste sachets). 1. The sliding door lock in our room worked about 50% of the time. I spent about 5 minutes trying to jostle it open to get my bathing suit I'd left on the patio. 2. The toilet didn't flush at all when we arrived. The engineer had to come and replaced a valve. 3. One of the towels smelled like it had been previously saturated with urine. 4. The television was so bizarre - the TV guide channel wasn't synched to the programming. The guide would say one show was on, but in fact an entirely different show was on and there was no rhyme or reason to any of it.

I booked my reservation through your company and when I got to the hotel they were sold out and did not have a room for me . It was late at night and I could not get a hotel room anywhere that night I had to sleep in my car.
Staff was friendly, there was free wi-fi, the rooms were clean and the heated pool and the hot tub were nice. I would stay here again. Our room smelled a bit, there wasn't a vent with a fan in the bathroom and the room became super steamy whenever we took a shower. Our friends room did not have an odor.
Hotel is clean on the inside and the balcony has a nice view with space for multiple people to socialize. When I first arrived the toilet was plugged up; however, that was fixed immediately. The real problem was the cigars and cigarette butts left out on the balcony ledge/overlook. I did not like the smell, and had to clean up someone else's cigars and cigarettes. The cleaning crew should clean up the balcony overhang of the rooms especially since the room I staid in is non-smoking.

There were negative reviews in the past but I think the hotel has improved since. Regardless what other booking web sites rate this hotel 3 stars or 4 stars, the rate you pay reflects the quality. You just don’t pay a hundred forty dollar room and expect the place to be like the Hilton - then you just move up to the next budget level of $200+. Bad Wifi connection in my room.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their ad did not indicate their pool and hot tub was closed for the winter. We were very disappointed to find this out when we checked in. They offered us passes to the FountainGrove club, which was nice, but if we'd known in advance they had no hot tub on the property, we would have gone elsewhere. We've been to this hotel many times before, and were disappointed with how it's changed.
Overall experience doesn't match with price by a long shot. Holton above the hill much better luxury and value. Best asset you have is extraordinary concierge.
Heated Pool, Great bedding and comfortable bed, Keurig Coffee Maker, plenty of complimentary newspapers in the morning. However, cheap toilet paper and scant coffee condiments in the room just didn't seem to match the rest of the decor and hospitality. These two little things would be so easy to improve on....But in the meantime, bring your own coffee creamer!

The motel was clean except there was a foul odor in the hallway where we stayed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was horribly hard so we didn't get much sleep. The floor would have been more comfortable. Awful smell in the hallway was troublesome because it also came into the room.
I did not like the harassment of the woman behind the counter by a group of four drunk men who were checking in. They were racist, she was Latina. It was an ugly scene. I feel as though having a security guard in the lobby would help people stay on better behavior.
The location was pretty convenient for exploring the region due to it being right next to the freeway. We were bothered by the noise whatsoever. The staff were harassing and embarassing each other upon check in which was pretty uncomfortable. Our room smelled of muggy wet dog and was pretty dirty. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel. The cleaning ladies came around (very loudly) to begin housekeeping at 7:30 am, way too early. Overall the experience was one of prefer not to have again considering the price.

It was a beautiful room, on beautiful grounds. We stayed there for one night while visiting Napa with friends. My only complaint is that we spent so much time wine tasting and having dinner with our friends that we hardly got to enjoy the room! Will definitely stay there again but next time, we will plan on TWO nights!
My wife and I are young and the bed was so incomparable we ended up sleeping on the floor. When the room heater turns on, the furniture and pictures of the the room shake. One of the worst nights of sleep in years. And expensive.

Charming old hotel, right downtown, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. 4 blocks from Russian River Brewing Old tube type tv, room small by today's standards. Neither was a problem, I didn't come here to watch TV, and with the age of the hotel the room size is expected.
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Close to the conference venue. Good continental breakfast. Near homeless shelter and location of parking lot.
Location Little mold in shower, could not get extra towels delivered. Had to goto lobby for ice and towels. Only provided towels for 2 of 3 guests
very near to good restaurants, clean, quiet I made 3 reservations under one name hoping we would all have rooms in the same building. Front desk person said the hotel thought it was only one person and they did not put all of us in the same room - did not make any sense.
Loved the convenient location, ease of parking, and closeness to amenities. Liked that I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Looking forward to staying once the Smart Train starts running all the way to Larkspur. You could park the car & never move it for an extended stay. The free breakfast was a bonus & quite delicious. Lots of street noise; took one night to get used to. Slept much better the second night.
Charming boutique hotel...good restaurants in walking distance and the charm of great wine country
The hotel had a vintage turn of the century look & feel to it. An being this was a honeymoon stay my beautiful bride really appreciated the classic feel it brought to our honeymoon. This was very centrally located from everywhere we wanted to go. Most of the restaurants we went to were either a short walk away or a very short drive away. Access to & from the freeway was very simple which made it that much better for day trips which we took several. There was a few things that I did see that was troublesome. An that was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Along the ceiling was what appears to be either small buildup of water stains or mildew. Other than that the hotel was very good. The other issue I had was by no means within the control of the hotel but it is still an issue. Every morning & everyday we were there all we heard an saw was the yelling from the local transients in the park across the street from the hotel. That was a big issue I had every time I dropped of my wife at the door to go park the car. I can't he but think that one would try to harass or rob her as she's walking inside while I'm parking our car across the street.
We found La Rose Hotel to be very welcoming and immaculate. We liked all the light in our room and the large marble bathroom. The parking was conveniently located nearby. The hotel was near excellent restaurants and interesting shops. We enjoyed all the fresh fruit offered as a part of the complimentary breakfast buffet. The water for tea was not hot, but when asked, they promptly remedied the problem. It would add a nice ambiance if music was played during the breakfast hours.
We spent a long weekend in Napa and had never stayed at the Bardessono before but due to the Good Buy and the online rating we gave it a try. It was one of the best decisions of the weekend. Being in Yountville is the only way to experience the wine country with the numerous wineries within 20 minutes (don't miss the Rombauerof Silver Oak tasting rooms) and some of the best dining in Northern California within 10 minutes. The rooms in the hotel are outstanding and the layout makes it so that you feel like you could be the only one there. The atmosphere is wonderfully serene and the common areas are well laid out. The bar wait staff were outstanding in their knowledge and their friendliness. Thanks to the management of the hotel for the traiing and oversight they obviously (but discreetly) provide. Just one negative - change the uniforms of the staff to lose the blousy pants.
The service. From the valet to the bar to the restaurants the concierge booked us a reservation for, they made it a point to wish us a happy anniversary. Nice touch. The Lucy restaurant on site was a little slow with their service. Especially in the morning. Didn't really keep up with the rest of the hotel.
It is not too hard to have a great wine country experience especially when one checks out a number of wine tasting sessions at some of the great vienyards of the world. However, when one adds to it a fabulous eco resort experience in clerly a five star venue, your trip is enhanced beyond expectations. The rooms and amenities were amazing and the staff was all about taking care of the needs of their guests.
The grounds of this Property were immaculately groomed and fountains, potted plants, and bushes were so attractive. The walkways meandered through property and included a lit Bocce Ball court and a walking trail. Our King Bedroom included a patio facing the vineyard accessed by an attractive doorway. Our room was nicely decorated and included two stuffed arm chairs for our comfort. We also had a credenza and a work desk with chair. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was very nicely appointed. We ate in their dining room which was beautifully lit with tiny lights and elegant décor. Food was fabulous and plenty of choices and excellent presentation. Every bit was delicious. We also ordered one breakfast through room service and our eggs benedict were perfect! Coffee hot and O.J. cold and flavorful. Complimentary bottle of wine & 2 waters. We would definitely stay again! This is not really a dislike, for me the large bath was a little tall but my husband loved it. It was a nice oval soaking tub in the shower enclosure. They had grab bars for safety so that was easy.
The hotel is 20 minutes from everything. At first I was nervous that it was right off the highway but that was nothing to be concerned about. It is very quiet. Views are of the adjacent vineyard. The grounds are lovely and full of surprises (like the bocce court). The food was fantastic (the main restaurant and John Ash). The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. Best value in wine country. There is nothing not to like.

It's close to casino- wal mart- Taco Bell- and free way. The main thing it's saving is money to use for other things. We have family to visit there and we like our privacy. So we could afford to visit and stay in a hotel. Very clean- nice beds. Not fancy but everything you need. It's stupid to pay more unless you like to throw money away. If you want a newer fancier hotel- you can pay 100 more a night - but it will be the exact same- with a cheap buffet breakfast---that is not worth $100 or so extra. I highly recommend this place for a good night sleep and a quiet room. It's clean and they have coffee in the morning and you don't need more - save your. Money and stay here. Only don't have a view - I like views. No biggie for me. Price makes it worth it.
Overall a clean cost efficient place to stay while in the Santa Rosa area. No frills easy fwy access. Staff polite, helpful and friendly.
Got very little value for the money. No amenities. Felt like a 40 dollar motel. Location next to the freeway. Single chair. The good news - the bed was fairly decent. Everything but the bed. Noisy and odd people staying there.

Very basic, but very clean, rooms. Staff was cheery and helpful. Taco Bell and Burger King are a stone's throw from the front door, as is a fuel station. Lots of other restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. It's quite close to the highway, so noise can be an issue, especially on the back side. While I wouldnt choose Good Nite Inn for a grand vacation, it is an excellent, inexpensive stop over and I highly recommend it as such.
Price was more reasonable than others. Clean. Most of the staff were pleasant. Noisy...freeway noise and other customers. Bring your own towels because they only give you two and a wash cloth for two people, not even a hand towel for the sink. One tiny bar of soap to use both in the shower and at the sink. We got extra towels but then when we left the room, they were evidently taken by staff because they were gone when we returned to the room. No blow dryer. I guess you get what you pay for.
The location was great, right near the Doubletree where the conference I was attending was located. Easy on and off the freeway, parking is convenient, lots of fast food and stores nearby. The TV works. The price is super cheap for the area--but the place sucks. There was a puddle of bleach in the bathroom, which ruined my socks and pajamas. The staff didn't seem to care when I mentioned it as I checked out. Also, when I arrived the toilet wasn't flushed--ew! And the shower is so short it's uncomfortable to crouch (and I'm only 5'7"), and the water pressure is a dribble. And the sheets are so rough they abraded my elbows. I know it's an economy motel, but it was pretty bad.
Manager reimbursed our first night that we had no air conditioning (it was hot)!! No blow dryer. Shower head so low my husband had to kneel to take a shower. Fixed the air conditioner for our second night, much more comfortable. Close to a number of restaurants.
